Peace and Quiet in the heart of Marathon!
This house is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom waterfront half duplex. There's a screened in porch, so you can relax in comfort on the water. The house has 24' of dock space that you can leave your boat parked at and room for a trailer in the driveway. There's a BBQ grill, dishwasher, Cable TV, WIFI, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and all the amenities of home. The house was undamaged in the hurricane and we have been hosting since shortly after. This waterfront half duplex is close to downtown Marathon, grocery, post office, restaurants and dining, and the beach.
There's enough space for 2 cars out front, or 1 trailer and 1 car. You're welcome to park your boat in the canal. The house is stocked with anything you would need. We have all kinds of kitchen utensils, board games, books, blender, cocktail glasses, washer/dryer, etc., I try to have a cooler there but they do tend to sprout legs so I can't guarantee that one will be available for use.
There are 2 beds and an air mattress. We have a 6 guest maximum at the house. We are licensed for 6 but the house is too small to comfortably fit 6 adults, I only recommend going up to 6 if there are small kids/babies. This is a strictly non-smoking property, inside and outside.

Covid Cancellation Policy: We are fully aware that the COVID situation is an evolving one. We are currently following our cancellation policy as stated on the booking platform of your choice. If we are unable to host you due to the County or City shutting down vacation rentals, you will be fully refunded for your stay, but that would be the only way the cancellation policy would be waved.
Hurricane Cancellation Policy: We will not refund in the case of inclement weather. Please consider travel insurance if you're traveling during hurricane season.

Area Information
What makes the house great is how centrally located it is. We are centrally located in Marathon, so it's a short walk to the pharmacy, grocery, bars and restaurants. We are in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood with no through traffic. It is very quiet at night for those that are light sleepers.
Marathon is a wonderful location in the middle of the keys. An easy day trip south to Key West (1 hour drive) and also you can head an hour up north to check out Key Largo, or 20 minutes to Islamorada.
House is situated at the top of Boot Key Harbor, ocean side of the highway. It's a peaceful 20 minute boat ride to open water.

Faro Blanco Condo
We absolutely loved our condo. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, as well as very well stocked. Our large lanai, which overlooked the lovely grounds, the marina, and the Gulf, was the frosting on the cake. We had a delightful time and would like to return.
