Escape to the Florida Keys ~ Gorgeous 4BR/2BA Home on the Atlantic side of the canal in Marathon. Our home offers the best pool in our area; who can say no to a hot tub, pool, and bar stools in one? Swim right up to the Tiki and enjoy the fabulous conversation you will have with friends/family or new friends while you are here.
Our home is private and gated with dog-eared fencing for added privacy and security for your children. We provide a 30-foot Trek dock for your boat that is up to 28 feet with easy access to fishing; we are just a few short minutes out to open water for the most amazing fishing, lobstering, and sunsets this side of Marathon.
A queen bed with its own tub/shower bathroom suite is on the main level off the open kitchen/living room so everyone can chat about the big one that got away. Our upper level consists of a Large king bed with a conversational area or reading on the couch/loveseat. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and the 4th bedroom provides 2-twin beds. The tub/shower bathroom is located in the middle of the upper level for easy access for all.
Coming with a large group or extended family needing to come too? 2 other homes next to us that are Vacation rentals and with large families or multiple family vacations, we can work with these 2-3 homes to accommodate everyone next to each other and not on top of each other. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do and please take time to enjoy our outdoor living area that has an LP gas grill and patio furniture to help everyone relax or sit and dine under the Tiki. We do have available a fish clean table with light and a bait freezer for your convenience!
Note that published rates are based on 8 person occupancy; additional guests, up to 2, will have an extra $140/week per additional person. We only offer Saturday check in and outs at this time. We cannot do less than a 7 day rental. You are welcome to come or go anytime, but we must block for the entire period.

The Florida Keys is one of the most amazing destinations! There is an abundance of wildlife and so many activities to take advantage of. We had been vacationing here for years and every time, we'd look for a place to call our own. We are thrilled to be able to share it with you! Rates are based on 8 people. The property can accommodate 10 but there are extra charges for more than 8 people; 140/week per additional person.
Pool utility covers all our pool related fees, this is not heat only, it’s not optional.
We charge 25% at booking (upon acceptance of the rental agreement we will send separately) and the remaining 60 days prior to arrival. We offer full refunds for any cancellation prior to 60 days of arrival. Within 60 days, we do not refund for cancellations. We recommend third party trip insurance to cover you for unexpected cancellations.

About the owner: We are former Minnesota Resort owners now relocated to Kansas who LOVE the Keys! We started vacationing in the Keys in 2010 and started shopping for a place that trip. We found this property in 2016 and expanded our "hospitality" service to the Keys - we purchased our second one on the same street later in 2018. We love the pool, the outdoors and love boating and fishing!
Why this property? This house has such a unique look and the outdoor space is heavenly. We love watching for manatees to visit at the dock and love to sit under the tiki watching a little TV. The pool is very inviting as is the hot tub which is part of the pool. We have another property just 2 doors down (we offer it on another site right now while we test this site out). So, if you have big groups, renting both houses is a way to go!

We rented for a week this past February. Margie was awesome to work with she answered all our questions & didn't have any issues. House was too big for 2 people but we enjoyed it so much. Great place for larger families/ groups. Very clean and didn't need anything but food when we arrived. Tiki hut a bonus!

We spent a month in paradise at Manatee Cove! I really wish I could give it more than five stars because it is deserving! It is ideally situated mid Island on Marathon. It’s close to everything!! The home is well appointed with absolutely everything we needed. It is spacious with four nice sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a nice sized living/dining/kitchen area. There are TVs in every room. The entire home is tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained. The outdoor area was wonderful as well! We loved it! It is very private with lovely palm tree landscaping. It has a very tropical feel to it! The pool also has a jetted spa tub area which was great after a day of kayaking or fishing! There is a great tiki hut next to the pool where we ate dinner most evenings. There is also a TV under the tiki and we were able to watch the Superbowl there! We used the grill numerous times while there as well. There is a double kayak which we especially enjoyed. We saw manatees in the canal several times! We rented a boat and had lots of fun catching mangrove snapper! The property manager is great! She was very nice and easily accessible when we needed her. There are very nice neighbors around the home. Our little dog has a crush on the dog across the street! They rubbed noses many times!:))) We highly recommend Manatee Cove as an ideal Marathon rental!!!

We stayed at Manatee Cove for a week at the end of January. The house is lovely, the pool area and dock were divine! We had a wonderful time lounging around the pool every day. Sombrero beach was close by, and anything you could want or need is a stones throw away. The property manager Kathy was great! Very attentive, easy to reach, and even offered to donate our unopened grocery items to the local food bank rather than tossing them. We had a wonderful time!

If you want to be in range if all the things that the Florida Keys has to offer, you need to rent this home! Great location! This beautiful oasis has all the amenities you could ask for! The private pool area is amazing! If you're a boater, the quick access to the Atlantic can’t get any better! This is a well kept home and very comfortable. The owners and property manager are friendly and easily accessible. So comfortable that we were fine spending the week enjoying the home and pool. I highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the best!

The home was beautiful and extremely clean for our stay! We had everything we needed for our two toddlers; high chair, pack n plays, games, etc. The kitchen is well equipped also! The landscaping around the pool made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. Stunning! It was fun to watch the giant crabs come out of their holes around the trees and the various wildlife around the canal. We did not see the croc during our stay but I did paddle out of the canal and it was serene! Amazing food in Marathon and I can’t say enough about Porkys!!! Maybe the best meal of my life and the service and customers around us were amazing! Marathon is absolutely stunning and we can’t wait to come back when our boys are bigger to enjoy the boat life! Thank you!

We booked a week to celebrate my Husband's 50th and his cousin's 60th Birthdays end of Feb, beginning of March, 2022. The Marathon vibe is so much more laid back than the bustle and crowds of Key West. The town was like a step back in time and we loved it! Couldnt have asked for better accomodations. The Owner was great and the property manager and pool/maintenance people were in and out, friendly, and efficient. Check-in was a breeze and the house is just beautiful. MODERN AMMENITIES in a wonderful setting. Super comfy beds and spacious, well appointed kitchen. We loved the private pool/hot tub and spent countless hours chilling in the Tiki Hut listening to music and making family memories. We walked the neighborhood for extra exercise and to work off those vacation calories. Excellent canal-side location with a paddle board and Kayak. Gas grill for a quick BBQ. We took our portable pellet grill/smoker and enjoyed Brisket and Pulled Pork by the canal. 2 balconies, one off living/dining area and one off upstairs bedroom made catching the breeze easy. A SUPERB EXPERIENCE. Just a hop and a skip to Sombrero Beach and grocery stores. Pharmacy, liquor stores, places to explore, gear rental, great restaurants and souvenirs were conveniently close. We already booked for next year!

Soraya M.Maniti Cove vacation
The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen layout worked very well and the fridge was spacious. Location was also excellent with Sombrero Reef Light House about straight out from the canal, bait close by and great restaurants up the street. The Islander on the bayside was great with easy dockage. The property was spacious with plenty of parking and the pool, tiki bar and docks were within easy reach. No lugging gear a quarter mile away. We highly recomend the Maniti Cove Property. We had a great vacation without having any concerns. Looking forward to next year.

The outdoor area is wonderful. We have stayed in many rentals around Marathon over the years and this was the best outdoor area yet. Great area to unwind after a day out on the water. Loved the pool. Large bait freezer and fish cleaning station. The owners were awesome. Sent several messages throughout our stay seeing if everything was ok and up to par. Which I thought was a nice touch. We had a great week and will be back!

Located in marathon right off of the canal with your personal boat slip couldn’t get any better. Family friendly and super clean while accommodating our party of eight. Absolutely beautiful landscape, pool and hot tub that my family thoroughly enjoyed every sunset we could catch! The owner is super nice and very helpful was quick to answer with any questions that we had along with the property manager who was also super helpful with keeping us up-to-date with info and tips. Location was perfect neighbors were super helpful and nice. I highly recommend as we will definitely stay again!
