Our waterfront, single‑family home, affectionately known as "Turtle Cove" offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and convenient dockage just five houses from open water. Conveniently located between Vaca Cut and the 7-Mile Bridge, with close proximity to both Sombrero Beach and Sombrero Reef, you'll enjoy effortless access to some of Marathon's best boating, fishing, snorkeling and adventure spots.

Inside, the open living and dining areas provide plenty of comfortable seating for everyone; a warm, welcoming space where you can unwind after a day on the water, share stories and plan your daily adventures in true island style.

The main level offers two bedrooms: a canal‑side master bedroom with a king bed, screen TV and sliding glass doors leading outside and a second bedroom with a queen bed and screen TV. The lower level: accessible from the outside ONLY, includes a full and twin beds, a cozy seating area with a screen TV and a convenient serving station equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator for essentials.

Step outside and enjoy our relaxed Keys-style outdoor living space, complete with a gas grill, propane tanks, a bait freezer, comfortable patio seating and a TV, perfect for dining together or simply soaking in the island breeze. The dock includes a fish‑cleaning station with electricity and water access, making it easy to get ready for a day on the water or unwind afterward. For added fun, we also provide a two (2) person kayak with seats and life jackets for guest use.

When you’re ready to explore beyond Turtle Cove, you’ll find plenty of nearby rental and guided boating services if you don’t have your own vessel. And when you’re not out on the water or relaxing in your private pool and hot tub, you’re just minutes from local favorites: Sombrero and Coco Plum Beaches, the Turtle Hospital, Crane Museum and a short drive to the Dolphin Research Center or Aquarium Encounters, where you can discover the amazing sea life that makes the Keys so special!

At Turtle Cove, we love being your home base for sunshine, adventure and easy island living; whether you’re fishing, snorkeling, diving into the ocean, unwinding by the pool or exploring everything that makes Marathon unforgettable. For quieter evenings indoors, enjoy our large‑screen TVs, DVD player, and a selection of games and puzzles.

If you prefer to cook in, you’ll find the kitchen fully stocked with cooking essentials. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of prep space make mealtime a breeze. We provide all the basics—coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, blender, crockpot, and ample serving dishes.

Special reminder: the home is equipped with six (6) outward‑facing security cameras for property protection. All cameras are turned off upon guest arrival for privacy, EXCEPT the two (2) dock cameras, which remain active strictly for water safety purposes.

Last‑Minute Specials
Our last‑minute specials apply only to true last‑minute bookings and cannot be applied to reservations made in advance before the promotion was offered.

Occupancy
The home comfortably sleeps six (6) guests, with the option to accommodate two (2) additional guests for an added fee of $110 per person, per week, for a maximum occupancy of eight (8), including infants and children, no exceptions please.

Stay Requirements
We require a seven (7) night minimum stay and currently offer Saturday‑to‑Saturday bookings only. During low season, we may have some flexibility. Please send us your request and we’ll do our best to accommodate your party. While we cannot offer rentals shorter than seven nights, you’re welcome to arrive or depart at any time during your reserved week.

Boat & Dock Information
Turtle Cove’s 45‑foot Trex dock comfortably accommodates one (1) vessel, up to 28 feet, per booking; giving you a solid home base for all your on‑the‑water adventures. While our canal can handle boats up to 30', we recommend staying within that size for the smoothest navigation. Neighbors regularly bring in 30' boats and usually only encounter depth concerns during very low king tides, so seasoned boaters should have no trouble cruising in and out. If you have any questions before booking, just reach out—we’re always happy to help you plan the perfect boating setup for your stay. Please note: the boat lift on the property is not available for guest use.

Pets
Our home is dog friendly only; no cats or other animals permitted. We welcome smaller, low‑shedding dogs and ALL pets must be disclosed at time of booking. Dogs must be 25 lbs or under, maximum of two (2). A $175/per week, non‑refundable, taxable fee applies for EACH pet. Please send us a quick note before booking so we can confirm your pup is a good fit; breed restrictions may apply due to insurance. Our pet fee helps cover general cleaning and normal wear and tear, but it doesn’t include extra hair removal from furniture or bedding. If your pup sheds more than average, we kindly ask that you take care of any excess hair before checkout to avoid additional cleaning fees. Please keep pets leashed when outside on the street at all times. The backyard is fenced, though it remains open along the canal.

When reviewing the calendar, check‑in and check‑out are always on Saturdays. The display may appear as if a date is blocked, but it is not.
