1602 sq. ft. Tingler Retreat is a tastefully decorated 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with a pull-out couch, has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and is seconds to open water in your boat! It has an open floor plan and is ground level with plenty of natural light and a fully fenced yard! Available for guest use are 2 bikes, 3 kayaks, and a paddleboard! It has a large pool with plenty of room for everyone to swim and play.
The Master has a king bed and an en suite bathroom. The other two rooms have one queen bed each and have hall bathrooms. There is also a pull-out couch, so the house sleeps 8 guests.
Centrally located in Marathon, all the restaurants and anything you want to do is less no more than 10 minutes away! Sombrero Beach is just down the street, half a mile (2-minute drive, 2-minute bike ride, 9-minute walk). There is a long wide bike path all the way to the beach!
Publix and Winn Dixie Grocery stores are two minutes away! About 17 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, only an hour from Key West, and 40 minutes from Islamorada, there are plenty of fun day trips should you want to explore other areas!
$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.
The property manager is available 7 days a week, day and evening.

Sombrero Beach is just down the street (1.3 miles). There is plenty of parking for several cars and a boat trailer (covered parking for 2 cars). You are allowed to bring either one boat or jet skis, not both (it is against Marathon law to tether boats in a waterway).

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Tingler Retreat absolutely deserves one.Over the years, I’ve rented many vacation homes, and too often they are under-equipped, poorly maintained, sparsely decorated, or simply don’t live up to the photos. Tingler Retreat was the exact opposite. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the owners have invested tremendous thought, care, and attention into every detail of this property.The home itself is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and incredibly well maintained. The gourmet kitchen was one of the best-equipped vacation rental kitchens I’ve ever seen, with everything needed to prepare meals comfortably for a family or group. The furnishings, décor, and amenities throughout the home exceeded our expectations.As an avid fisherman, one of the biggest reasons we selected this property was the boating accommodations, and they did not disappoint. The seawall comfortably accommodated our boats, and having direct water access made our stay incredibly convenient. The outdoor space was equally impressive, featuring a beautiful swimming pool, tiki hut, outdoor dining areas, and plenty of room to relax after a day on the water.The additional amenities were outstanding as well. The kayaks, bicycles, games, garage refrigerators and freezers, and other recreational items truly enhanced our stay and made the property feel more like a luxury resort than a vacation rental.The only advice I would offer future renters is to be aware of the water depth at low tide. We observed approximately two feet of water during the lowest tides, so larger boats may need to pay attention to tide levels when entering or leaving. That said, I brought my boat in and out throughout our stay without any issues.I would wholeheartedly recommend Tingler Retreat to anyone looking for an exceptional Marathon vacation rental. The property was everything we hoped for and more.I would also like to recognize Meredith and Pineapple Properties for their outstanding service. Meredith was responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Knowing she was only a phone call away provided great peace of mind during our stay.We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tingler Retreat and look forward to renting from Meredith and Pineapple Properties again in the future.

Tingler retreat has it all! My family loved every minute of relaxing in this well appointed house. The backyard area was our favorite hang out spot. We spent a lot of time in the pool and chilling under the tiki hut… complete with outdoor TV. Early morning walks to Sombrero beach everyday. Bikes, kayaks, floats, fishing gear, coolers, stand up paddle boards, outdoor games, outdoor grilling… This ranch style house was perfect for all our needs. Stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent and the list goes on. I always bring my own but this property had everything you could possibly think of!

House is just as pictured and described. Very well equipped with everything you would need for fun family vacation. Kitchen is well stocked with all necessities. Seem-less process from check-in to check-out. Quiet with plenty privacy and great pool! Plenty of parking room for vehicles or boat. Heated pool was amazing! Everything you need is within 3-5 miles of the house. very clean and welcoming. Meredith is great and very responsive. Will be back to this property many times to come!

My husband and I hosted our daughter, son in law and 2 grandkids for a week. They loved the pool and the closeness to sombrero beach. It’s at nice quiet neighborhood with a lot of parking. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need for the kitchen, beach and pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Tingler Retreat. It is well supplied with dishes and cookware, clean linens, pool toys, beach chairs, bikes and kayaks. The back yard is it’s own retreat and very relaxing. Enjoyed sunsets on the beach a short walk away and visiting Key West for a day. Our family all agreed we could stay here again - we had a great time!! Communication leading up to our stay and during was quick and appreciated.

The house is situated on a canal in a great location for boating both in the ocean and the gulf. The house was very clean and had everything we needed plus bikes, kayaks and pool games. The new tiki hut by the pool was a life savor in the hot August heat. Also the home is very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The property manager answered all my questions promptly.

Tingler Retreat ist ein wunderschönes Haus an bester Lage. Das Haus hat alles und mehr was du brauchst. Der Pool ist perfekt. Es hat Beachutensilien, Kajaks und 4 Velos. In 5 Minuten bist du mit dem Velo am Strand. Wir haben verschiedene Ausflüge unternommen wie: Sportfischen, schwimmen mit Delfinen, Aquarium, Bahia Honda Statepark und einen Tag nach Key West. Buche und erfahre selber wie toll es ist.

Went as a group of 3 couples and the house layout was really ideal, with each couple having their own bathroom. House had all amenities as promised. Super clean with amazing outdoor space! The TV under the tiki hut was perfect for the men, while us women soaked up the sun around the pool. Perfect amount of sun or shade, whichever preferred. We ate outdoors all the time. Double kayak was tons of fun. Loved the bikes too!!! Meredith was promptly responsive for any of our questions. Idea location as well! Walked or rode bikes to the beach daily. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Meredith and Pineapple Properties!

Marathon was a fantastic destination for our family of 4 with so much activity within reach. The Tingler retreat was a fantastic place to stay, and we had more privacy than expected on the canal! The accomodations were very comfortable, and the house was great. We really enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. Everything was as expected from the photos in the add, with the exception the bikes older and rusty, as well as all the fishing poles broken. We bought fishing poles anyway, so these wouldn't stop me from renting again. We kayaked and walked to the public beach - Sombrero, which was fantastic for sunset viewing and swimming. There is access to miles of sidewalks for running and biking. We caught a few fish in the canal as well.

Lovely home. The pool area is amazing. We even had a mama and baby manatee visit us. Plenty of sun and shade (huge tiki hut with shaded seating) The house was loaded with plenty of amenities. Kitchen, baths, and laundry room were all stocked. Beds were super comfortable as was the living room and kitchen seating. We were a group of three couples. We each had a private full bath.

First off this is the second year booking with pineapple property. Couldn’t ask for a better rental agency. House was very clean , just as described and the perfect location just steps from sombrero beach . The house is well equipped with anything you need from cooking , cleaning even fishing . Marathon is the best keys location too. Highly recommend Tingler Retreat and pineapple properties.
