"SOMBRERO HEAVEN" is an updated Villa with neighborhood Ocean Front beach and Second Story Screened Balcony that Overlooks a Private Heated Pool and Canal! Everything you need for the perfect keys vacation ~ private dock, fish cleaning station, bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, pool noodles, children's board games, a pack n play, high chair! Fully stocked home with everything you need included! Free WIFI! This property is island living at its best!

We loved the fact that this property is updated with a great coastal design, four bedrooms, and all the updated features offered in a custom build! We think Marathon is a great location because we are not too far from the mainland, but also close enough to Key West for an easy day trip! The grocery store, great restaurants, and everything else we need is so convenient, too!

This is a vacation rental and the guests have exclusive use of the entire attached Villa. We have a pin pad on the door and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. There is covered parking and parking for a boat/watercraft trailer. The dock accommodates a 35'- 40' boat.

Meredith, the property manager, will be available day and evening, throughout your stay, for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to contact her directly on her cell.

Angler's at Sombrero is a brand new development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!

We recommend you have a car during your stay in the keys!

We provide TP, PT, hand, dish and bath soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, bath towels, and pool/beach towels.
Airbnb does not have the ability in their software to collect the Marathon County Tax of 5% so we have to send a separate payment request for those funds. They do collect the Florida State Tax of 7.5%.
It is mandatory that the guest manage their trash throughout their stay. Directions about pick-up days are in the manual at the property and in the Welcome Letter sent out before arrival.
We also ask that you clean the grill to the best of your ability before you leave. Do you not use charcoal in the grill as it is a gas grill.
If you would like the pool heated above 80 degrees, there is a $ 125 pool heat fee(prorated for longer stays).

$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

About the owner: Born and raised in Canada, Marc and Nathalie moved to the USA with their two young children in 1996. After a quick stay in Seattle, the family moved to south Florida in 1998 for Marc’s work and this became their new home. The family fell in love with the Florida Keys while vacationing and had a dream to own a home in Marathon. Marc loves fishing and golfing while Nathalie enjoys spending time at the beach or by the pool.

Now that the kids are grown up, we have decided to share our home with others so you can enjoy all of what the Florida Keys have to offer. Perfect weather, beaches, great food, golf, water activities, and fishing make the Florida Keys the perfect spot for the whole family.

We hope you will enjoy our little piece of “heaven” as much as we do!

Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!

Our family of eight had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday vacation together in Sombrero Heaven! It's a beautiful, well-cared-for, newer home with gorgeous gray floors throughout. There was plenty of room for everyone - including a one-year-old (high chair and pack-n-play provided)! First of all we're very thankful they have a "Sombrero Heaven" sign on the house because many of the houses look exactly alike, so we found ourselves going very slow looking for the sign. Having one bedroom and bath on the first floor worked out great! The other two bedrooms are a nice size (one is smaller than the other), and they shared a bathroom. The master bedroom is gorgeous with a large closet and bathroom. It also had a beautiful, large mirror that was used by everyone when dressing for a day out! It was very convenient having a washer and dryer for all of the laundry. Even though it wasn't screened-in, we thoroughly enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the balcony overlooking the canal. The swimming pool was just large enough to cool off after a day at the beach. We also went for lots of walks and bike rides (two bikes provided) on the paved path that went all of the way to the beach in one direction or right to Publix, Walgreens, and K-Mart in the other direction. Just a warning about pulling out of the driveway...we learned to turn around in the driveway (which is very large - plenty of parking) and drive out because the walking/bike path conveniently goes right in front of the house. We came very close to backing into the path of a bike-rider. Thank God our car had the backup warning and detected the rider. We also appreciated using their beach towels and chairs so we didn't have to pack them. The nice, clean beach is approximately 1 1/2 miles away so we drove there, but it's like having a private beach! There were people there, but we still had plenty of room for relaxing and swimming. There was also a playground for children and two nice bathrooms. There was lots of free parking so that was never an issue...and regular visits by the ice cream man! One reason we chose this area in Marathon was because it is residential, but still only an hour's drive to crazy Key West. Meredith was awesome to work with...always concerned about our needs - checking to make sure we had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again - the house was perfect and the location was perfect! Would definitely recommend! The Yordy Famiy

Everything was great. My son is a big fisherman and he was impressed with how convenient with the dock and cleaning station and bait freezer. It was nice to have a private pool. We did cook a lot and had every thing we needed. Loved the place.

My family and I have stayed in Marathon on three different occasions and this was by far the best! This condo has everything you need, location is perfect, and Meredith goes above and beyond. She resolved any and all issues immediately. Her attentiveness is admirable. The property is very neat and clean. I honestly can not say one negative thing about this property. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone had plenty of space. Our children enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. We had many “visitors” at our dock and the children enjoyed feeding them. This was the best property I have ever rented in the Keys and my family and I plan to come back. You will not find a better place and most importantly a better manager as Meredith. Thank you for all you have done to accommodate my family and I. FIVE STARS ACCROSS THE BOARD!!

We enjoyed everything about this property and the property manager was incredible! Would highly recommend staying here...the house is only a year and half old and is very nice.

The villa was nicely furnished & centrally located to Key West & Key Largo. There was plenty of room for our family of 8, & our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. All in all, it was a great week spent making family memories!!

Very nice

Spent a week here with family. The unit was immaculate, plenty of supplies, ie., paper products, towels, detergent. The pool was a little small, but not a big deal. Loved the central location.
