There is a washer and dryer on site for your convenience. The home is up-to-date and full of comfortable furniture throughout the entire house. Pillowtop mattresses, hotel quality linens and towels make this home feel like a high-end hotel. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, and crock-pot. There are Smart TVs in every bedroom and living room, as well as high speed internet & Wi-Fi. There is an outdoor freezer, fish cutting table and flood lights for nighttime use of back yard.

Kickin' Back Reel Time is located approximately 2 1/2 hours south of Miami and 1 hour north of Key West. We are 1 mile from Publix Super Market and Overseas Highway. This is a prime, central location, in Marathon, just minutes from all the best restaurants, tiki bars and shopping. Beautiful Sombrero Beach is just down the street from the house.

About the host: My husband and I reside in Maryland where I help him with his custom home construction business. I retired from teaching 6th grade in 2022. We love to get to the Keys whenever we can, but we stay pretty busy on our farm raising Angus Cattle and taking care of our 5 miniature donkeys. Our kids and grandkids also keep us busy.
We are fortunate to have a wonderful housekeeper and handyman in Marathon that help keep our home in top notch condition. They are also available in case anything would come up when a guest was at the house and in need of something. We love sharing our home with guests!
Why this property? We love everything about the Florida Keys and decided to purchase this lovely house on the canal in popular Marathon. It is in the perfect location ~ close to beautiful Sombrero Beach, Publix grocery store and so many great places to eat and have a great time! It's our hope to share our little piece of paradise with other families and friends who are looking for the perfect vacation.

Perfect Location
Great Home!! Perfect location, close to everything. We took our boat and it took about half hour to get out of the canals to ocean. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was nice and CLEAN! Plenty of towels and basically everything you would need. Would totally go back! The owner was super easy to work with and very prompt to respond.
