DOCKSIDE RETREAT is a 4 bedroom 3 bath canal front home that has a private pool, private dock, fish cleaning station, with a green light under the dock, two kayaks, two bikes, and a Tiki Hut for the ultimate Keys vacation! With plenty of parking for vehicles and a boat trailer, a well-stocked vacation rental with everything you need, a neighborhood beach just down the street and located at mile marker 55, in the heart of Marathon, Dockside Retreat is your perfect vacation spot!

There are lights inside the Tiki Hut so you can enjoy the space in the evening as well! The house also has a pack n play, high chair, and stroller! We provide hand, bath, and dish soap, dishwashing detergent, some laundry pods, kitchen sponge/scrubby, TP, PT, bath, and pool/beach towels.

This is a vacation rental and the entire home and property are for the exclusive use of the guests. We have a pin pad on the door and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. The entire Unit 2, the pool, dock, and parking are available for the guest. The dock accommodates a 35-40 foot boat. Each unit has one side of the dock for its private use. There is covered parking for two vehicles and additional parking for more cars and/or a boat trailer.

As the property manager, I am available throughout your stay for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to call or text me directly, day and evening, 7 days a week! If I am needed at the property, I will certainly make myself available any time!

Angler's at Sombrero is a brand new development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!

We recommend that you have a car during your stay in the Keys.

We provide TP, PT, hand, dish and bath soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, baths, and pool/beach towels.

Airbnb does not have the ability in their software to collect the Marathon County Tax of 5% so we have to send a separate payment request for those funds. They do collect the Florida State Tax of 7.5%.
It is mandatory that the guest manage their trash throughout their stay. Directions about pick-up days are in the manual at the property and in the Welcome Letter sent out before arrival.

We also ask that you clean the grill to the best of your ability before you leave. Do you not use charcoal in the grill as it is a gas grill.

If you would like the pool heated above 80 degrees, there is a $125 fee per week (prorated for longer stays).

$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!

This rental home has everything!

We loved our stay at Dockside Retreat! The house was decorated perfectly for a tropical vacation. We used the pool every day. There were pool noodles, kayaks, cruiser bikes etc. We used all of the fun toys. We loved the tiki hut and had so much kayaking in the canals. The location is great. Close to the beach, the grocery store and Highway 1. You will be so happy you booked it!

Family Vacation

This rental has it all for a large group! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and the pool area with the tiki hut offers hours of enjoyment for kids and adults. We took advantage of the bikes provided and made the easy ride to Sombrero Beach just down the road. You can’t beat the location and all the amenities this property offers. We enjoyed our stay at Dockside Retreat and highly recommend Meredith and Florida Rentals!

Awesome house!!!

We recently stayed in the dockside retreat and loved it. We traveled to Marathon with my wife, kids, and mother in law and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, new, and had everything we needed. Location was great with a beautiful beach right down the road. My kids and I enjoyed fishing right from the dock, and the pool was awesome.
