Catch the Sun Rental - Discover paradise in this charming 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation home rental on the canal with electric heated pool and southwest facing screened lanai in SW Florida's Gulf Coast community of Rotonda West. This bright and lovely home will accommodate up to 6 individuals, and is just minutes to championship golf, world-class fishing, shopping, recreation, and beautiful white sand beaches of Manasota Key and Gasparilla Island.
The split bedroom floorplan of this home places the kitchen, living and dining areas between the Master Suite and the other two bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a King-sized bed, en-suite bath with dual sink vanities, deep soaking tub, and large step-in shower. A sliding glass door leads from the bedroom directly to the screened lanai/pool area.
In Bedroom 2 you'll find a king-sized bed and Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. A second bath with tub/tiled shower and single sink vanity adjoins bedrooms 2 and 3.
All bedrooms have their own TV's.
The kitchen features a side-by-side refrigerator with in-door filtered water/ice dispenser, 4 burner electric range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and small appliances commonplace to most homes (coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, blender). Dishes, drinkware, cookware, flatware and utensils are also provided, as well as kitchen linens.
The great room area is separated into a living room and smaller office nook. The living room area has a 48" HD satellite TV with DVD player. A wall of sliding glass doors fully opens up to the screened lanai, adding to a true Florida feel. The office nook contains a reading chair and ottoman, desk/chair, and bookcase with small library of books, puzzles and board games. There is also a wireless printer. We are pleased to offer wireless internet, and DirecTV as the satellite service provider.
Our southwest facing screened lanai overlooks the canal and houses our 12' X 26' pool. The pool is heated to 86 degrees between November 1 and April 30. There is a solar cover with reel for covering the pool when it is not in use. A child safety fence is available for the pool area and will be installed upon request. The lanai contains a patio table/chairs, a half bath with toilet and sink, outdoor showers, two loungers, and several additional patio chairs. A Weber LP gas BBQ grill sits just inside the pool cage.
The residence contains a separate interior laundry area with washer, dryer, utility sink, ironing board, iron, and laundry baskets. In the garage you will find beach chairs, collapsible patio tables and chairs, a beach umbrella, coolers, pool floats and beach toys. There are also 4 bicycles available for your use (3 adult and 1 youth).
All bedding, linens and towels are provided, including beach and pool towels.
For individuals traveling with small children, a child booster seat, baby monitor, stroller, and Pack 'n Play are available for your use.

For added peace of mind, we have two security camera mounted on the Southeast garage exterior that monitor and record activity in the driveway/front yard, and the pool equipment.

Booking and Deposit:
Your booking will be considered confirmed when the completed Rental Agreement, Terms and Conditions, photo of state-issued ID and deposit have been received by the owner. The deposit is calculated on TOTAL cost of your stay, including the Rental Charge, Cleaning Charge, Security Deposit, Sales Tax, and Pet or Pool Heat Fees, if applicable.
For stays of 14 days or less: 50% deposit is due at time of booking, with balance due no later than 60 days prior to arrival.
For stays of more than 14 days: 30% deposit is due at time of booking, with balance due no later than 60 days prior to arrival.
Notice of Disclosure: There are TWO external security cameras on the property; one monitors/records the driveway, front yard/street, the other our pool equipment.

About the owner: Originally from Northeast Wisconsin, we first became acquainted with the Rotonda West, FL area in January of 2016 when we spent a month vacationing here with family and friends. We immediately fell in love with the area and all the recreational opportunities it has to offer.
Prior to our semi-retirement in 2008, we owned and operated a 43 unit resort hotel in Northeast Wisconsin and have more than 60 years of combined hands-on experience in the hospitality/lodging industry. We take great pride in the care and cleanliness of our property, and guest satisfaction is our number one priority!
Why this property? Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The canals surrounding Rotonda West are teaming with wildlife. You will most likely see a large variety of birds, small mammals as well as reptiles from the comfort and privacy of your lanai.
If you enjoy the outdoors, recreational opportunities are nearly limitless both within Rotonda West and the surrounding area.

Our family of 5 stayed at Linda and Terry's house this past November for 2+ weeks. It was our best Florida stay ever! We have been renting apartments/houses for a few years now and this house exceeded all my expectations! It is extremely well-maintained and fully stocked. Heated pool was a hit with our kids, who were supposed to be doing remote schooling, but instead I could not get them out of the water! Grill, five bikes, printer, what else could we wish for? :). Thank you once again! We can't wait to go back!

Catch the Sun is situated in a beautiful community! I love how grocery stores restaurants beaches and plenty of golf courses are just minutes away which is why Lynda has supplied bicycles to cycle everywhere. After cycling we love coming back to the southern exposed pool lying in the comfy floaters with a cool drink! With a convenient bathroom and shower right on the pool deck. A wall of doors open from the house to the Lani to enjoy both indoor and outdoor living. 3 bedroom all have comfortable clean beds Kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. We feel right at home living there! Loved it so much we extended out stay into Dec as well!!We definitely give Catch the Sun a 5 star rating! And can’t wait to return again!

Kay Roberts and Vince M.The Best Rental Owners We Have Ever Experienced
Since Linda and her husband Terry were so customer-oriented and pleasant, their service was perfect. Any issue was solved very quickly and effectively. In addition to issues (all minor), their routine maintenance service was outstanding. Terry is a pool-cleaning expert. He does it every week, paying close attention to the right balance of additives. Since they live very close to "Catch the Sun," it ensures that any need for help is quickly addressed. If they are unavailable, they always have a capable person to fill in, if necessary.They always went above and beyond the call of duty, like picking up and driving Vince back to the "Catch the Sun" when Vince dropped the vehicle off a few miles away for transporting back home.Their binder of all the things you need to know about the home and area (with restaurants mentioned, of course) is a major plus to renters. As to the home, it is a terrific place, with lovely rooms, a great heated pool in the lanai, and a nice view from the rear. My recommendation is to rent there; you will be very pleased.

There are lots of tourist attractions around Catch the Sun Rental in Rotonda West and nearby Venice, FL. But why would you bother, when you're staying at the perfect getaway? It's like a home-based spa retreat! Tired after your travels? Start with a lovely soak in the huge jetted-tub in the master bath (bath salts and bubbles provided). If you'd rather, take a swim in the meticulously-kept pool under the shaded lanai. Hungry? Fix something in the gourmet kitchen (you'll find everything you need to cook, plus more), or on the patio grill. Eat al fresco or in the delightful kitchen nook overlooking the pool. If you prefer more activity, there's good fishing in the backyard canal, or take bike from the garage for a spin around the neighborhood. With three perfectly-appointed bedrooms and two full baths, there's room for everyone. The owners live nearby and are attentive to every need or question. This is a gorgeous place in a lovely location, and we can't wait to get back!

We were extremely fortunate to identify and execute a 30 day rental with this charming, updated, pet friendly and very warm-renter centric landlord! The close proximity to "essentials" we were seeking (golf course options, Bocca Grande beach and restaurants, and weekly grocery shopping, etc.) made this venue a perfect match for our entire "family"! The venue was recently updated, spotless, complete with the expected heated pool, internet and "dish" TV offerings and the quiet, friendly neighborhood made for a stress-free stay. And the hospitality of our landlord couple-who made you feel like you've known each other for a life-time-completed what was a seamless, enjoyable and "cant-wait-to-get-back experience!
