Heron's Way is perfect spot for relaxing holiday, yet close to the best beaches, golf courses, nature trails and shopping malls in the South West. It is situated in a tree lined road, on a freshwater canal which attracts an abundance of wildlife. Minimum of passing traffic, just the sound of birdlife and cicadas with the odd frog croak at night.
The stunning spacious villa is furnished and maintained to a very high standard. The fully screened pool area is well equipped for sunbathing {sun all day as it faces South} with a cool shady spot for dining .
Clever open design inside with maximum access to wonderful long views of garden and canal. The Master suite with King size top quality bed has large bathroom with double sinks, walk in shower, corner bath and separate toilet. Situated at the opposite end of the home is the guest suite of one double bedroom and one twin bedded room served by another well appointed bathroom.
The kitchen is particularly well fitted out whether for boiling an egg or a gourmet meal!
Adjacent is the well equipped laundry room with beach towels etc opening onto double garage with remote electric door. There are beach chairs, sunshades and cool boxes for picnics for all. There are 2 new bicycles. The great room has comfortable seating for six with cathedral ceilings and fans. Every possible facility for Xfinity media, broadband, telephone with free calls within USA and Canada plus internet radio and a printer for your use. A well stocked library and games cupboard you may enjoy! Two inside dining areas, one possibly for breakfast and another more formal with view to front garden.
Air conditioning and fans throughout. The property manager lives locally who ensures that it is immaculately clean.
The property is wheelchair friendly but sorry, no smoking or pets. Available October 2020 through to Jan 20th 2021

Having travelled and lived extensively in Australia and Spain, it has taken until now to discover the joy of Rotonda West. And what a haven it is, tranquil and yet exciting. The nature and wildlife make every day an adventure and for us it's as good as it gets!!
With backgrounds in interiors and construction we were very quick to realise the appeal of this home. Just so lucky to discover it at this time in our lives, fit enough to enjoy the fabulous golf courses and beaches., fishing and boating. Young enough to venture beyond to the exciting places not too far away. Not to mention the shopping!

With weather that is perfect nearly all year round Rotonda West is one of the best kept secrets in Florida on the beautiful Cape Haze Peninsular between Naples and Sarasota. Rotonda is a master planned community with over 20,000 acres of greenbelt, golf courses, lakes and nature trails plus. 23 miles of canals. The white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast are a short drive for sunbathing, shelling, watching dolphins at sunset or hunting for sharks teeth! Boat trips {and boats for hire} for exploring, fishing etc are available from local marinas. The warm natural mineral springs in North Port are a "must"
There are 5 golf courses within 5 minutes and a 24hr floodlit course. Close by is Boca Grande {fascinating} and Gasparilla Island. Venice and Port Charlotte with 2 shopping malls within 20 mins drive plus 2 of the biggest in Florida within an hour. Every major supermarket within 10 mins plus excellent restaurants of every type.

All said in our story!

Why this property? The outlook as soon as you walk through the front door! Great view through the sliding patio doors to the large pool area and the canal beyond. The great feeling of space everywhere, cathedral ceilings, so much natural light.
An extremely quiet street with hardly any through traffic!
Great place to invite friends the way the bedrooms are set up.

Relaxing and peaceful.

Perfect home away from home with everything that you would ever need. Val has thought of everything. Hosts are very easy to work with and manager is very helpful. Pool is large and beautiful. We were in every day. Villa is very clean and spacious. Close to many golf courses for the golfing enthusiast. Great biking trails nearby. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful Rotonda stay

Enjoyed a great month in Val’s impeccably clean and well appointed home. If you need to you can eat off the garage floor . Everything you need for an extended stay is included. The heated pool and surrounding area was used extensively despite some cooler weather. All communication and dealings with Val and Mary (the expert caretaker) were extremely polite and professional. The location is quiet yet very convenient for day trips. We did it all - hiking, biking, kayaking, beaching and of course visiting many fine area eateries. Even caught a hockey game in Tampa - go Pens! Would love to stay again if given the opportunity. Thanks for the excellent visit.

Great home in a great location!

We stayed in this home in Rotonda West for the month of April with another couple. It is a perfect layout with the master & guest bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. It was stocked with everything we needed for the month. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with a beautiful pool and space both in and out of the sun to lounge. The home was exceptionally clean and had very comfortable beds & furniture. We would definitely book this home again!

Wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood!

Heron's run was the perfect getaway. From the moment we walked through the door, it felt like home! The house was situated in a lovely section of Rotonda West -- perfectly convenient to gathering with our friends, going off to Gasparilla Island, going shopping or going out to dinner.The pool was a nice size and well-maintained; the house was immaculate, the furniture comfortable and the rooms were perfectly set up for family visitors. All in all we had a wonderful time -- would book again readily (if we don't buy our own home!)

Loved this home

We liked it so much and are hoping to come back next year!! The home was very clean and had everything we needed once we walked in the door. The pool was heated and very refreshing after a day of golf or at the beach. Valerie the owner was easy to reach and ask questions and Mary the property manager was ask easy to reach if we needed. I would highly recommend this home. Also no hidden fees that come with other rental out there.

Amazing home

Very comfortable home with well stocked kitchen. Master bedroom and guest room walkouts to the covered patio/ pool area. Lots of seating outside. Pool is heated and nice size. Beach towels and chairs along with bicycles. Close location to marinas and beaches. Fun to watch wildlife around the small canal! Would definitely stay here again!
