Quiet and Peaceful

This home was great! It had EVERYTHING we needed for our months long stay! The pool got used daily! The layout to the home was perfect. It is like two homes with a shared kitchen! Two different wings with living quarters. The neighborhood is extra friendly. It sits on a quiet street that is ideal for long nightly walks and kids riding scooters. The attached garage is ideal with hauling in groceries in the rain, etc. It genuinely is a rare find and a gem. Lisa was excellent at communicating and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend and money well spent.

Fantastic home and area.

The home layout is perfect for one group or two. The pool is fantastic and just minutes from Englewood beach which proved to be more beautiful than we remember with it's crystal clear aqua color water. The Lanai by the pool proved to be our favorite spot to watch TV and enjoy dinner. Everything that we could need was provided. Definitely telling friends about this gem.

Gulf Tranquility is so well named!

Lisa and Scott. I so enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. It is well situated in a safe neighbourhood for walking, comfortable, well equipped, clean and so well laid out with the primary suite separate from the other bedrooms. The pool and lanai were great for excersize and yoga in the morning, outdoor dining and the tv was a real treat for outdoor evening movies as well. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool watching large birds land in the water and turtles climbing the bank of the canal. Thank you so very much! All the best, Judi

Perfect Stay

First, it is so hard to promote an amazing place because you want to keep it to yourself due to the high demand in the area but... the house was amazing and Lisa deserves the credit. My DH and I stayed for the month of March 2022. The house is exactly as it is represented. It is VERY clean, well furnished, comfortable, convenient and on a nice street in Rotunda West. We very much appreciated our stay at this house. We appreciated having items for the beach as well. The only one frustration was the inability to modify the temperature via the thermostat.We particularly loved how the sliders created such an outdoor living space. We biked extensively from this location and access to various trails was very easy and convenient.Lisa was VERY responsive. She perfectly understands what guests want and the house was perfect! Thank you for such an enjoyable and lovely stay at your property.We would highly recommend this property.

The best February!

We spent the month of February in this Florida home. It was a beautiful and very well equipped house with a gorgeous lanai and pool. We ate almost every meal outside looking at the pool and canal. The fact that we missed three snow and ice storms added to the overall experience of not being in Missouri! The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. The location was so nice and quiet, with the crowded hustle and bustle only a few miles away. We look forward to spending the next February here again!

Spectacular

Every single member of our family thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and locations of this property. Everything we needed, they had on hand and ready for use!. The house is EXCEPTIONALLY cleaned and maintained as well as the pool. My older son said, "The best family vacation we ever had!" The owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. Instructions were minimal and easy to follow. All transactions were simple and everything went accordingly. No surprises what so ever. I specially worked with Lisa via text and she responded in a prompt and efficient matter each time we communicated. Money well spent! We will be back!

Such a great home!

Our first time staying for a month and absolutely loved every moment of every day-including the 3 stormy days and nights! This house is clean and very comfortable. Brand new outdoor grill. Pool was warm and wonderful. Enjoyed nighttime floating almost every night. Plenty of bath and pool towels, beach chairs, bikes. Rented a boat several times from Allure boats and had great tours for dolphin and manatee with Captain Eddie. Clean well maintained boats! This owner is easy to communicate with and very nice.

Wonderful in every way!

Truly the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in years!! The house was pristine and beautiful, and well stocked with everything needed for a great trip. From beach chairs to umbrellas to coolers, it made going to the nearby beaches so easy. And I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed floating in the beautiful pool. So close to great beaches, restaurants and grocery stores, with great shopping in Sarasota just a quick drive away. The owners were easy to communicate with and prepared a lovely list of fun nearby activities. Truly relaxing and can’t wait to return!!

Awesome Florida vacation rental!

We truly enjoyed every moment at Gulf Tranquility! The house was absolutely beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly think of. The pool was gorgeous -- we so enjoyed hanging out on the screened-in lanai during those hot afternoons! The location is great -- just a 15 minute drive to several beaches, and close to a lot of good restaurants, including Farlow's, a favorite of ours. I highly recommend staying here -- you'll enjoy it!

A wonderful house for a family vacation

We all loved the house the moment we stepped in. The house was very nicely decorated, very clean and spacious with everything you'd need or forgot. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot, they sit on the pool toys on the water and read :-). We all enjoyed the pool/lanai area with so much outdoor living space that is pretty nice and unique in Florida. The rooms/beds were all great. It was a nice and peaceful community, well maintained overall, with nice walking/riding paths. Nice and various restaurants nearby (Ken & Barb being my kids' favorites), beaches are great and nearby. The amenities of the house was fabulous -- everything you'd need were there - beach boards, umbrella, beach chairs etc, and everything inside you'd need too. Tampa and Orlando were not too far away to drive to. I'd definitely recommend the house to whoever looking to rent in the area, the owner is really doing a very good job maintaining and decorating the house.

Loved our stay

Loved our time at this beautiful home it was hard to leave! So many awesome things to do in close proximity to the house. Everything you need provided made it such a comfortable stay. Beaches are close and so many to choose from and beautiful views and lots to see and do at all of them. Kids loved the pool and I of course loved relaxing and enjoying the family time. It is nice to have the private pool for use and to get away from crowds of people and just chill. So many restaurants to choose from and lots of fun things to do for all ages!

The house exceeded our expectations in every way

The community of Rotonda West 1.5 hours South of Tampa, 1 Hour north of Fort Myers. Though we drove, 1000 miles each way, the Punta Gorda Airport is just 30 mins away. The beaches we visited were Englewood- 10 min drive, Blind pass – 15 min drive, Lemon Cove – 15 mins and our favorite was Gasparilla Island State Park – 20 mins away. Everything you need for the beach from chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bag and ditch diggers is available for use. Tons of people were out looking for Shark’s teeth at every beach we visited. We did not turn on the TV’s at anytime during our stay. We spent most of our time on the beautiful lanai with coffee, dinner or just reading. Oddly, we never stepped foot in the pool, but enjoyed looking at from every room. The properties in this area are spacious and the houses not on top of one another, it is a residential area in every way. There were restaurants, groceries and shopping within 5-10 mins of the house. For those who enjoy riding bikes, (4 provided with the rental) or walk, the trails are paved and abundant throughout the community.This is not a rental house, it is truly a home with 99% more in amenities than you will find in any rental. It was Utopia.

Looking forward to returning

We were so pleased with the house and all the ammenities! The owners have thought of everything from beach towels and chairs to bicycles. We really enjoyed all the wildlife. Every morning we heard songbirds, a heron stopped by for a visit and the turtles basking on the shoreline were a real treat. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft and the kitchen is appointed with everything you need. We cannot wait to return to this little slice of heaven!

Tranquil Paradise!

Absolutely perfect accommodations! The house is in a lovely tranquil location - serene, beautifully landscaped and the inside is every bit as perfect as the outside. So clean, so well taken care of, so appropriately decorated - we felt like we were in a high-priced resort. Perfect for a couple to enjoy by themselves, but we could see an entire family easily being comfortable as well. The pool was our favorite spot to be, with everything else in the home being a close second! The accessibility to restaurants, bars, shops was so easy, but far enough away to make the home feel very private and blessedly quiet. We look forward to going back - we miss it so much already!

Another great vacation at Gulf Tranquility

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Gulf Tranquility in January, and for honoring our rental agreement with the previous owners. It was obvious the moment we entered the house that you’ve added your own personal touch in decor and especially kitchen and pool conveniences! There was no shortage of silverware, dishes, mixing bowls or utensils. Nice little pantry area and large refrigerator made working in the kitchen easy. The beautiful pool and also bath towels are so soft, large, and were needed. The beautiful baskets of often needed personal care items is a very nice touch! The new pool cover, chairs and pillows made lounging at the pool(which was every day!) extra comfy! One of the biggest and noticeable additions was your well organized notebook about your home, and we found it easy to use. Lots of great information. We found working with you -and communication between us, to be easy, flexible, and enjoyable-like talking with friends! This home has been maintained above average standards, and we are excited to return next year! Thank you. We give this vacation home five stars in a four star rating scale! Christmas/New Year vacation

My family booked this house to be able to spend our Christmas vacation with extended family in the area during the pandemic. This house/area did NOT disappoint!!!! Each morning the warm glow of the sun was seen from the master, welcoming us to start our day. I absolutely LOVED to open up the sliders which fully open into the wall (pocket door) in the master, sitting room and kitchen to the beautiful outdoor pool/lanai. To be able to have the open air was so fantastic! Entertaining our family was so much fun in this house. Plenty of towels, linens, pillows, and anything and everything else you would need were within reach. 4 bikes and a fishing pole were also enjoyed as were the pool floats and grill! You can be on one of the most beautiful beaches within 20 min- or go up to Englewood. The location and neighborhood were so quiet. I enjoyed seeing the tropical birds outside by the canal as well and the fruit trees on the property were also so nice to have. I recommend this house for anyone! My kids, husband and I highly recommend!! Thanks Lisa and Scott for making our winter getaway a HUGE success!!

Warm and welcoming Florida home that was perfect for our little getaway.

Very clean and beautifully appointed, this Florida home is the ideal spot to enjoy some time away. The pool is beautiful. We loved morning breakfast on the lanai. We saw egrits and crains fluttering about the canal. We even enjoyed an evening swim. The beaches of Boca Grande, Englewood and North Venice were just a short drive away. We enjoyed collecting shells, walks in the soft white sand and relaxing in the beach chairs (that were provided by the homeowner) while we watched the calming waves of the the ocean roll in. We were also close to many shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this rental for a fun and relaxing get away.

short and very sweet stay at Tranquility

From the beginning to the end of our short 2 week stay. EVERYTHING was better than perfect. Of course ,we all enjoyed the pool as well as the bikes. We saw an alligator and a family of turtles.. We especially enjoyed shelling at Boca Grande. Our family was very impressed with the furnishings in the house. We made fresh squeezed orange juce that our grand childeren loved making. Our master bedroom was so grand It was like a dream come true! Thanks again for allowing us to stay. We would like to book again for January for next year.We loved our stay!!!

A great place for a Florida vacation!

It is wonderful when a house and the property owner combine to provide a great vacation. Gulf Tranquility is a well maintained, clean, well appointed and comfortable house. The pool was amazing. Gulf Tranquility provided privacy while still being close to shopping, restaurants, the beach and several golf courses. The owner, David S., is very accommodating and responded to the few questions we had very quickly. He made us feel more like guests than renters. We are looking forward to our 2020 stay!

Wonderful location

This villa has everything you need for a very relaxing holiday. The pool was lovely and the rear view not over looked and Had a canal with plenty of wild life and birds were amazing. Well looked after villa and would definitely go back for more.
