1,000 steps to the private Beach! Maravilla is a 33 acre beachfront community that includes a private white sand beach and 2 pools. The short stroll within the complex puts you on the private white sand beach in the 2 beach chairs with an umbrella provided for our guests. Our unique location is within minutes of beachfront and local restaurants and shopping areas. Entertainment for all ages from movie theaters to bars and deep-sea fishing to putt-putt - all close by. Our home is a peaceful private residence close to everything.
Come and relax! Enjoy the screened-in porch, bright open great room in this perfect family fun getaway. There is a private master suite with king bed, a queen bedroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a double sofa sleeper and a twin roll away bed. You will enjoy the comfortable living, dining, kitchen great-room area with plenty of space for any size family. The fully furnished kitchen will make snack or meal preparation a pleasure. The porch with its constant breeze is the perfect spot for a nap or use the grill for some fresh seafood meals.
You will find many great beachfront restaurants on scenic 98 (one is less than 3 blocks away) and family friendly bars and night spots very close. You can close your perfect day with a movie at home on the 4 TVs. Or retire to the private master bedroom suite with your own deck.
No matter how you choose to spend your days and nights you will enjoy having your own (home) to return to as you explore the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida!
Area Information
The private gated Maravilla complex includes 2 pools, hot tub and private beach. Two beach chairs and an umbrella setup is provided for our guests. The community sits half way between Destin commons and Silver Sands outlet with access to Highway 98 and the Scenic highway 98. Also halfway between Harborwalk Village at Destin harbor and Sandestin Baytowne Wharf (both have fireworks displays, activities, restaurants and music on certain nights of the week).

This property was exactly how it was listed. There was plenty of room and just a short walk to the beach. The screened In porch we never had the chance to enjoy it. We were always on the go! We will definately use this rental again.

This is our first time staying here and would definitely stay here again. Now I understand why my sister has stayed here multiple times. The house is in a great location. It's close to restaurants, shopping, and yes- the beach too! Literally a couple minutes away. The gated community and pools are great. The house is spacious and had everything we needed- plus beach supplies . All you need is your sunscreen and beach towels . The owner Gail was excellent to work with. She's so very friendly and responds to any questions super fast! So glad we stayed here.

Amazing large house with everything you need. There is even toys, floats, sand toys etc. anything you would need for the beach. The house even comes with a two beach chair setup provided at the beach. Love this place.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at Destin Gentle Breeze in Maravilla ( #3312). The home is spacious, clean, well stocked and only a short walk to the beach. Maravilla is a family friendly community with nice pools and amenities. It’s conveniently located near shopping centers and restaurants. We had a great week in Destin and highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect for our needs. It was clean (which has been an issue in other places we've stayed) and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach access was fantastic and the pools were great. It's a nice quiet community, even though it was peak season and there were quite a few people. Our only issue was that we couldn't find enough bath towels for everyone and ended up buying a few when we stopped for groceries - we later found the extras under the sink in the master bathroom, the one place we apparently didn't check the first time. Not a big deal and we had a chuckle over it. The host was very responsive and helpful as we planned our trip. We made some wonderful memories here. We would highly recommend this place!

Close to the beach, pool, hot tub, grocery and restaurants. Private gated community. Home away from home. I would not only recommend but we will be going back. Owners are responsive and have all the details laid out.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. We really liked the screened in porch which wraps around 3/4 of the house. There is a small private backyard area with a deck which is right off the large master bedroom. The beach was a very pleasant walk through the quiet complex and an easy walk across the street with a crosswalk. The umbrella and beach chair service was great. The clear water and white sandy beach are beautiful. We also enjoyed going to the pool which was clean and we never had trouble getting lounge chairs. There are are plenty of restaurants and places to shop close by. The owners were very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

This was our 6th time staying at Gentle Breeze. As always. The house never disappoints. The house is very well stocked with all the amenities of home. The upgraded TVs were a nice addition from the last time we stayed. Our son was able to hook his Xbox up.The beach service with Matt and his guys were always very nice and helpful and the pools were always clean and busy.Thanks again for letting us stay and enjoy your house again.Look forward to many more visits to Gentle Breeze.
