My staff and our children went down for a spontaneous getaway (and reward for job well done).

The house is decorated beautifully and the space is abundant. The kids loved playing hide a go seek because there are so many rooms and spaces to hide and never be found. Three large on each floor worked great for the adults...and the kids. There was eight of us and there were two bedrooms that were not even touched...SPACIOUS AND plenty of privacy!

You will not go wrong, and be proud you chose to stay at this wonderful house just feet from the walkway to the ocean. If you have a basketball player in the family.... they will be thrilled with shooting hoops on the private basketball court.

This property is one of the best we've stayed so far. The accommodations are incredible! The beds are super comfortable. The backyard and pool are extraordinary. It has all the amenities you need and more. It's beautifully decorated which makes you feel right at home. Great location! just couple of blocks away from the beach and from the best grocery/retail stores & restaurants.

We'll certainly come back next year!

5 STARS Family converged from four states (AR, LA, TN, TX), for thanksgiving. Space for everyone. Great location and proximity to local spots of interest, especially the beach. The pool and basketball court were icing on top. PLUS, owners are very responsive to inquiries or concerns! This house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space!! Perfect for hide and seek :) The boys enjoyed the basketball court & pool, while the adults enjoyed patio time and the quick walk to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs, but if you’re looking to relax and rely on others to cook on your vacation....you’re only a few blocks away from any & every restaurant imaginable.

The owners were easily accessible by phone or text. Although we had no needs during our visit, it was perfect!!

Very conveniently located to the beach. The house was perfect for us. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Loved having our own pool. Beds we're super comfortable. And the owners were nice and extremely accommodating. We will be back!

Love this house! So much room for everyone, not to mention the large pool in the back right off the kitchen. To the left of the pool was a full basketball court. The teenagers loved it! This house was so clean and well decorated. The front porch was a plus to just sit and watch the neighbors pass going to the beach which was right across the street or just enjoy the evening breeze. Everything at our fingertips... Destin Commons just up the road and close to so many restaurants and shopping. Perfect location! Owners are such gems to work with and take pride in their home. They work so hard to make it inviting and nice so we can just come, relax, and enjoy. I would recommend this house immensely for all types of families.

My family and relatives all just got home and are ready to go back! We had 8 adults and 9 boys (yes, 9 boys), we had plenty of room and some to spare. The pictures don't do this home justice. The boys' ages range from 4-15, and at no point did anybody lack for activity. The pool, beach (extremely easy, close walk) and basketball court kept them constantly entertained.

We celebrated Thanksgiving dinner around the gorgeous dining table. We all fit, except for 2! The kitchen is well appointed...didn't miss a thing.

The bedrooms were amazing. The first floor has a pull out couch in the family room and a bedroom with a queen bed that is attached to the bathroom. Upstairs 2nd floor the enormous master seemed endless. It had a king sized bed will a full sitting area, walk around the corner and you will think you have a closet , but it is actually a "cave" as my kids called it with a set of bunk beds, and a private TV. The bathroom attached is big enough to be a bedroom as well...it has a shower and jetted tub. Also, on the second floor the 3rd bedroom holds 2 sets of bunks, and the 4th bedroom has a full and another set of bunks. They share a hallway bathroom. Go up yet another set of stairs and there is another massive bedroom with a king sized bed and also a queen and private bathroom. It too has a full sitting area with the most comfortable couch ever! All 5+ bedrooms have TVs including some very large ones in the masters.

With 17 people the 5 bathrooms/showers/laundry/dishwasher were in use constantly...we NEVER ran out of hot water once.

Thank you Jay and Kristalynn for providing such a beautiful home for us and being so wonderful to work with. Can't wait to return!

We stayed at the Beach House on Barracudda in Destin Fla for a week in June 2015. What a wonderful place for my family. There was plenty of room for us all to have privacy. The best thing is the close walk to the beach. The teenagers could come and go with out adult supervision and i am sure the walk was closer than the information suggested. The Nisbets were wonderful to work with and checked on us to make sure everything was going well. I will use them in the future.

This home was great! We stayed for a weekend with a group of eight, and enjoyed the heated pool and easy beach access. The house in superb shape and lived up to the impressive photos on VRBO. The Nisbets were great to work with, and our credit card payment was easy and painless. We especially enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and soaking in the lit, heated pool after dark.

This is such a wonderful home for a family vacation! We stayed here with our entire family with ages ranging from 8 mos to 57 years, and everyone was happy...especially the 5 teenagers. The pool is great to have right in the backyard, and the house is so roomy with a wonderful, large kitchen - great for family meals and family time by the pool. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
