"Over the Top" is a stunning beach home sitting on a bluff overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! Located in the gated community of Destiny East, it sits on the largest lot in the neighborhood with ample parking for reunions or a small wedding party. This gulf view home has large decks on two levels with ample seating at all Polywood bistro tables. The outdoor living space is among the best you will find in any beach home for large family groups! Destiny East Community Pool & Spa will be HEATED from March 5-April 15, 2023!
The oversized pool and waterfall are completely redone with new plaster and tile in 2023. The pool deck furniture is all new Polywood chaise lounges and tables. The outdoor summer kitchen also has been updated for guests in 2023. You will bask in the sun poolside while enjoying views of the gulf for your vacation enjoyment!
Once you enter the sliding doors from the pool, you have a game room with full size pool table and bar. Watch all the latest games or movies on the 55" inch TV. A full refrigerator and wet bar is close to the pool so there in no need to go upstairs for beverages or refreshments while bathing at the pool. There is a gill on the first floor pool deck to cook up your meals around the pool. The full kitchen is on the second full for evening dining and entertaining with outdoor seating on the balcony.
On the second floor is a modern, open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. This luxurious main living space is bathed in natural light during the day and features intricate, high-end details that pull together the perfect space to relax with company or entertain. The gourmet kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an island that also serves as a breakfast bar with seating for two. Perfect for conversations while cooking! The formal dining area offers gulf views and seating for 8. There is additional dining space for 6 guests by the outdoor kitchen on the balcony. For sleeping arrangements on this floor there are 2 King Suites. Each King Suite on this floor includes a private bathroom
The third floor is mostly encompassed by the magnificent Master King Suite. This expansive room is a marvel featuring a living area with fireplace; two huge walk-in closets; and a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. Completing this spectacular master king suite is the private balcony. A Queen Suite is also available on this floor and features a twin-over-twin bunk bed and private full bathroom.
“Over the Top” is within walking distance to beachfront restaurants and the Destiny East Community Center which offers a large pool, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball courts, walking/pet path, large playground, grilling/prep station, and private movie theater!

Beach Access- Guests will enjoy their beach experience at the expansive public beach located by the restaurant The Crab Trap.
*This home rents only Saturday to Saturday during Spring Break and Summer months. * No College/Student groups allowed. all renters must be 25 and older except for children in families.
*Weddings/Events – All weddings/events must be pre-approved by Beach Reunion. A $750.00 event fee is required for any wedding or event. In addition, a $1000 refundable deposit is required for ALL weddings. This home has public beach access. *Events for this home must obtain the separate permit through Okaloosa County in addition to the Beach Reunion event fee. *
*PETS PERMITTED: $250 Per Pet; Max of 2 Dogs 25 Pounds or Less

VayKGear (Beach Equipment): You will receive up to $245 credit (based on length of stay) toward complimentary beach gear when you book this Beach Reunion home! Browse and select available gear to include paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, umbrellas and beach lounge chairs. All gear will be delivered upon arrival and picked up upon departure. Maximize your vacation time by setting up your rental equipment needs before you even leave the house!
Private Elevator- This home features a private elevator. This is an optional $350 fee to use during guests stays. Guests who opt out of the fee will not have the elevator for use during their stay. *Private Elevator for Baggage or Guests Unable to Climb Stairs ONLY. *
Electric Street Legal Golf Cart Rentals — We offer electric street legal golf cart rentals to Beach Reunion guests only and at a substantially lower rate than our competitors in the Destin/Miramar Beach area. If you are familiar with this area you know from past vacations that their popularity makes traveling to and from the Call us today to reserve a 4-seater or 6-seater street legal golf cart with your vacation rental home!
Pool Heat — From October 1st - May 1st, the private pool/spa can be heated for an additional $100/day or $700/week. Pool heat must be purchased for the entire stay. (Pool heat must be purchased for the entire stay. Must purchase pool heat for spa to be heated. The spa does not operate like a standalone hot tub. The spa will only reach the same temperature as the pool, 86 Degrees Max. Outside of the dates spa cannot be heated.)

Area Information
There's a celebration going on just about all the time in Destin, making it a fun place to be year-round. Several festivals, including October's Destin Seafood Festival and the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo, celebrate the Gulf's edible gifts from the sea. There's also the annual Emerald Coast Poker Run, which takes place at the end of Boat Week. Participating boats pay an entrance fee, then travel to designated spots to pick up cards. The boat with the best poker hand at the end of the run is the winner. Proceeds from the poker run go to local children's charities. Destin Snorkel offers a wide range of tours on our Coast Guard approved passenger boats; Reef Runner, Kokomo, Sand Dollar, Snuba Runner and the Sea Horse. The entire team at Destin Snorkel prides themselves in customer service. We'll take you out on the beautiful waters surrounding Destin and the Emerald Coast for a safe and enjoyable tour. We provide starter sets of soaps, paper goods and trash bags. Once these provisions have been used, it is up to the guest to purchase for the remainder of stay. * please note that we do not provide pantry items such as foil, wrap, spices or oils*
All indoor linens are provided. They are freshly laundered and packed with towels and hand towels under each bathroom sink. Please note that beach/pool towels are not provided and we encourage guests to either bring those with them while traveling or purchase while at the home.
Beach Reunion Office is open 7 days a week from 9a to 5pm central time. We are only closed on national holidays, but are available by phone or text each day of the week.

Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 90 days notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made outside of 90 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the 1/3rd required at the time of booking, minus the cancellation fee of $399. If canceled within 90-60 days to arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of the required 1/3rd made at the time of booking. Cancelations made 60 days or less to the date of arrival will result in a 100% forfeiture of all monies paid towards the reservation to include all taxes and fees. Beach Reunion reserves the right to charge the card on file if cancellations are made when the final payment has not yet been made. If canceled and payment was not received, Beach Reunion legally retains the right to seek remaining payment.
Check in time is 3pm central with check out time being 9am. 1 week prior to your arrival date, codes for the home and private beach gated access will be sent via email to you. This will also include the house rules and any other important information needed during your stay. While staying with us, we strongly encourage all guests to give us a call or contact us by email for any issues you have. We pride ourselves on our customer service and want to ensure a great stay.
If any issues are found upon check in, please notify the office immediately so we can rectify the situation promptly allowing your stay to be as uninterrupted as possible, Our office is open daily from 9am to 5pm central time. If an after hours emergency was to arise ( whole house power outage, codes not working, fire, major leaks) we do have an after hours number.

Beach Reunion has been managing vacation rentals on the Emerald Coast for sixteen years. We specialize in large luxury beach homes sleeping anywhere from 8 to 38 people. We are a boutique business with vacation rentals primarily along Scenic Gulf Drive in Destin & Miramar Beach, Florida. Our program proudly features a coastal collection of large group homes, smaller cottage style homes and a group of gulf front condos.
Our homes are located in Frangista Beach, Destiny East, Destiny West, Destiny by the Sea, Emerald Waters, Shipwatch, Crystal Beach and other prestigious neighborhoods. Many are Gulf Front homes directly on Scenic Gulf Dr.
Our collection of large homes feature beautiful swimming pools, summer kitchens, media rooms, custom bunk rooms and king suites with private bathrooms. Our guests come year after year for family reunions, golfing trips, weddings, and corporate groups. Our amenities include golf cart rentals, beach chair services as well as our concierge services for golf, dining and wedding planning.
In 2018, we entertained over 11,000 guests in our 60+ properties and over 100 weddings. Many of our guests have been staying with us year after year for five to ten years and rent different homes in our program as we build, upgrade and add new properties.
Our goal is to provide superior service due to our limited geographical area and upscale properties. We strive not to be the biggest but the BEST! Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an Age Requirement
All homes managed by Beach Reunion require our guests to be 25 years of age or older in order to reserve and stay in the home. Exclusions only apply to those traveling in a family vacation with younger children. No student groups/ student groups with chaperones. No exceptions
What temperature is the pool heated to?
The pool during our pool heating season of 10/01-05/01 will reach between 86-90 degrees maximum. The spa cannot heat higher than the pool. The pool and spa will remain at the same temperature and heated at the same time. This is preset and locked by our pool company. Tampering with pool equipment will result in a fine.
Where is the beach access for the home?
The beach access for this community is located at the beachfront restaurant The Crab Trap. This will be about a 15 minute walk from the home or just a few minutes drive. There is ample parking at the restaurant as well.
