Dragonflies Villa is a stunning, luxurious three bedroom home, situated in Rotonda West, Englewood on Florida's Gulf Coast. it is the ideal place for a truly relaxing vacation.
Our beautiful Gulf Coast home has three large bedrooms , two bathrooms and an extended private, heated pool for your enjoyment. It has been tastefully decorated and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard.
Built on an oversized plot with beautifully landscaped gardens both front and rear, it affords peace and privacy. The South West facing pool is just perfect for sunbathing and viewing colourful sunsets.
We sustained no damage from Hurricane Ian and have fully covered pool cage.
Unique Benefits
We chose a large plot with south west rear aspect to build in this lovely quiet corner of paradise. Boulevard North is one of the wide palm tree lined boulevards and an area of beautiful new homes.
The pool area has sun all day long and we have the most amazing sunsets behind our house. The rear garden had been landscaped and provides a beautiful view and a fair amount of privacy.
Our home has been decorated & furnished to a very high specification by an interior designer. Guests often comment that our home is fantastically equipped and feels like home from home. We take great pride in our Gulf Coast home and want guests to have the best of times there.
We have an amazing local property manager who maintains our home to the highest level. She is always on hand should guests need anything.
Our home is strictly NO Smoking and No pets
Why Kids Love It
Obviously the pool is a big hit with children. The pool store has plenty of pool toys to amuse young & old.
A wonderful community park is 5 mins walk away where there are tennis courts, swings, climbing frame etc
The beaches are 10-15 min drive away. Perfect for shell collecting, sandcastles, etc
Area Information
Dragonflies is situated on the Gulf Coast in Rotonda West, half way between Sarasota and Fort Myers.
Rotonda West is a unique development, laid out as a huge circle and divided into 8 wedges. Seven of the wedges are residential with 5 having golf courses. The eighth wedge is a nature park.
Throughout the Rotonda development is a series of canals and waterways. There is a mixture of residential homes and holiday homes.
It is a short drive away from dazzling white beaches and the wonderful warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
This area is very popular with Snowbirds from North US & Canada who come down to escape the cold Winters in the mild & warm climate of this wonderful area.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
Rotonda Community park on Rotonda Circle is a few minutes away. It has cycle paths, tennis courts, a BBQ area, kiddies play area and nature walk.
The Rotonda West Association Club House is 10-15 min walk away. It is a beautiful area with lakes and trails to walk or cycle round. There is a community Center which regularly hosts events.

Too many to mention but our current favourites are :
The Lighthouse Grill, off Placida Rd - for great food, live entertainment and spectacular sunsets.
Zeekes on Deerbourn St for amazing food, a great bar with fab cocktails and always a warm welcome.
Ephesus on Gasparilla Rd for Greek/Turkish food - just something a little bit different.

About the owner: After numerous family holidays to Orlando we started to gravitate towards the Gulf Coast for rest and relaxation after the hectic fun of Orlando. Eventually we found we were spending more and more time at the coast and decided to build there.
Why this property? We chose Rotonda West because it has the best of both worlds. The beautiful beaches of Manasota Key and Bocca Grand are a short drive away. The area is so quiet and peaceful yet you can easily access beaches, golf Clubs, Cinema, Bowling Alleys, Supermarkets, Shopping Malls etc so you can do as much or as little as you want!
We chose an extra large plot on a palm tree lined boulevard for space and privacy. Our house has sunrise at the front and sunset at the back and the pool is in sun from mid morning till sundown. The house has been decorated professionally and everything chosen to make the home light and airy. We just love Dragonflies and think that you will too.

Dragonflies is a beautiful property. The property is stocked with essentials (spices, dish soap, storage bags, paper towel, laundry soap and so much more). Just pick up your groceries at the nearest Publix or WinnDixie (just a short drive) and you are set!The pool area is relaxing. The Roku connections allowed us to watch our local games from Wisconsin. The location is only minutes from McCall, which takes you to Englewood and all it has to offer. We enjoyed the local restaurants and rented a golf cart to tour Bocca Grande.Unfortunately, my husband became ill and needed to be transported to the Englewood Community Hospital. He received great care and returned to recover at the lovely Dragonflies. The hospital was an easy 15-minute commute from the villa.We have already contacted the owner to stay next January. We’ve stayed at five different properties in Rotunda and this was the cleanest and most convenient.

We so enjoyed this beautiful villa. Everything we needed from spices to paper towel and laundry soap were available. The proximity to Englewood beaches and restaurants was amazing. Unfortunately my husband needed to be admitted to the hospital, but this was within 15 minutes and an easy commute. The villa became my daily/nightly refuge. Hope to spend time at Dragonflies next winter.

What can I say that hasn't been said already! This was our 3rd visit to Dragonflies and it was just as exciting and lovely as our 1st. Both Bernadette and the Management Company were so helpful and resolved any queries or issues we may have had as quickly as possible. The villa is immaculate, clean and comfortable and every requirement you may need has been carefully thought of. We shall certainly be planning our 4th visit very soon.Don't hesitate, just book it !

We first stayed at Dragonflies in 2016 and knew we'd be back! Our most recent stay from 1-8th June 2018 did not disappoint. The villa is spacious and well appointed with good quality furnishings and fittings and is maintained to a high standard. The pool area is a delight with comfortable loungers and ample dining area, and once the sun arrives on the deck around mid morning it's there until it falls from the sky in the evening. We watched some wonderful sunsets during our stay and the huge lot offers tranquility and privacy from neighbouring homes. The owners, Bernadette and Paul clearly love their home and have provided not only what is required to enjoy the villa but also have catered for days away. There are plenty of deck chairs, cool boxes and beach towels available for use. Englewood itself is a nice community and we've enjoyed several walks when we spotted some of Florida's beautiful wildlife. Communication with Bernadette was excellent and the booking process very clear and simple. We will definitely return to Dragonflies and thank you again for sharing your beautiful home!
