Adorable half duplex with a bohemian island feel!
This house is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, canalfront half duplex. There's a screened in porch so you can relax in comfort on the water. There is 24' of dock space. There's a charcoal BBQ grill, Cable TV, WIFI, washer/dryer, and all the amenities of home. The house was undamaged in the hurricane and we have been hosting since shortly after.
The house is stocked with anything you would need. We have all kinds of kitchen utensils, board games, books, beach blankets, beach chairs, washer/dryer, etc., I try to have a cooler there but they do tend to sprout legs so I can't guarantee that one will be available for use. Host does not provide any food, drinks, or spices.
One bed is a King size, the other queen, and a single sized rollaway cot. The bedroom with the king bed in it has a smart TV with a house Netflix account that is already logged in.
Note that there is no gate between the side yard and the canal. We do not recommend this property for toddlers and young children. The other side of the duplex "Waterfront Hideaway" does have a gate between though.

Hurricane Cancellation Policy: We will refund in the case of a mandatory evacuation. We will not refund in the case of inclement weather. Trip insurance is recommended if you're traveling during hurricane season.

Area Information
What makes the house great is how centrally located it is. We are centrally located in Marathon, so it's a short walk to the pharmacy, grocery, bars and restaurants. We are in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood with no through traffic. It is very quiet at night for those that are light sleepers.
Marathon is a wonderful location in the middle of the keys. An easy day trip south to Key West (1 hour drive) and also you can head an hour up north to check out Key Largo, or 20 minutes to Islamorada.
House is situated at the top of Boot Key Harbor, ocean side of the highway. It's a peaceful 20 minute boat ride to open water.

My husband and I had an excellent time inside and outside the bungalow. It looks small but you will be amazed at all the room it has. The bungalow had a screen porch to die for and fishing right out the back door. Keys Bungalows left all the little extras like canoes and a grill. We will be back for sure. Hopefully longer than.

I can’t say enough good things about Waterfront Bungalow! We absolutely loved it! It was beautifully decorated with a bohemian vibe, perfect for the Keys! It is a great location within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and drug store. Sombrero beach is a short drive away! We rented a boat and were able to dock it in the canal. We saw manatee in the canal on several occasions! Such a treat! We highly recommend Waterfront Bungalow!
