Thanks for stopping by to check out Mickey's Mansion, an 8 bedroom, 4.5 bath home in the heart of all the action, yet quiet and peaceful. In fact, Emerald Island is one of the closest resorts to the Disney parks! There's nothing better than being in the Florida sunshine to relax but have fun too. Your hosts, JoAnn and Les, are ready to welcome you as their guests and give you the 5 Star Service you desire allowing you to leave any worries behind. You will have everything you need to have the perfect vacation to do as little or as much as you want in your home away from home. Enjoy reclining on the brand new comfortable, leather sectional allowing three to recline back and get those tired feet off the floor. Swim in your own private south facing pool and spa (which means you get the most sunshine during the day). Play in the Harry Potter themed game room (with separate AC unit) boosting air hockey, foosball, a slate pool table, Ms. PacMan arcade game and a Wii console. Watch movies on the 65" screen Smart TV, play cards, board games or put together puzzles. A large selection of children's books are available to read to the kids before they drift off to sleep and plenty of DVD's to choose from satisfying kids of all ages. The kitchen is fully equipped but there are plenty of restaurants for take out so it's a vacation for the chefs too. Free WiFi included if you need to get a little work done or if you still need to stay connected to the outside world. A work desk and chair are located in one of the upstairs bedrooms for privacy and quiet. Enjoy two brand new patio tables outside under the covered lanai with seating for 16! Gather the whole gang for eating meals together, playing cards, board games or just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. A change of scenery is good medicine for the soul!
Mickey's Mansion has enough room for family and friends, up to 16, to vacation together under one roof. A short drive to Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, golf, beaches and so much more. Located in the beautiful Emerald Island Resort, a 24-hour guard gated community. Have peace of mind knowing your unique door code is exclusively yours. No sharing of door codes with past guests. After a day at the parks, relax in your own private pool and spa. Enjoy the company of your favorite people on the lanai, in the downstairs living room or around one of two tables of eight located in the kitchen and dining room. Or if you rather, retreat to one of the bedrooms for a little quiet time. The downstairs king master bedroom has a comfy mattress and its own private bath. The kiddos will love their newly updated Mickey Mouse, Frozen and Star Wars rooms, each with twin beds and mattress toppers for extra comfort. There's a half bath located on bottom floor as well as a laundry room with a large washer and two dryers. No need to bring your own linens or towels. This is all provided for our guests free of charge. Two additional kings (one with its own bathroom), and two queen bedrooms are upstairs, all with high quality, comfortable mattresses, will allow for a good night's rest. Ceiling fans are located in 7 of the 8 bedrooms and private TV's are located in all the bedrooms. A crib, pack n play, space-saver high chairs, soft booster seats, step stool in Mickey bathroom, and umbrella strollers are all included free of charge for those bringing little ones. We even just added a potty-training chair for those of you who might be in that season of life. We understand how important it is to keep that momentum going! :)

A maximum of 2 well behaved, non-shedding dogs will be accepted. Please reach out to owners to discuss why your pup will be a great addition to your vacation. Due to allergies and asthma, please check with owners if your pet can be accepted. All dogs should be current on vaccinations, be housebroken and non-destructive. Pet fees apply - $100 for first dog and $50 for second dog. Picking up after your pet's waste is a resort requirement. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times when outside of the home. If this is not abided by, you will be responsible for any fines. Bring blanket(s) or sheets to protect furniture. Any damage caused by a pet on property will be the responsibility of the guest. Dogs should be contained to one area of house when home alone.
Please note: early check-in's or late check-out's are not available when there are back to back bookings. An 8 bedroom home takes time to thoroughly clean and launder. We are proud that our cleaning team does not take short-cuts and pays close attention to detail.
Rental agreement needs to be reviewed, signed and returned to owners including the names of all guests staying on the property. The maximum amount of people is 16 including children and babies and is strictly enforced. No parties or events allowed. No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the house including the garage/game room.
In addition to the required damage insurance upon booking, we highly recommend purchasing a travel insurance policy incase the unexpected happens. Life is unpredictable so make sure you are covered. We do not endorse any particular company, however, Insure My Vacation or Vacation Protection are two online companies you may want to consider to see if one of their policies may be right for your travel needs.

Why Kids Love It
Kids will love being so close to all the major theme parks. They will love their own private pool when they come back from long days at Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios or other fun attractions. They will want to check out the club house's amenities and heated pool or grab a snack from the Tiki Bar. There are nature walking trails and sand volleyball, basketball, mini golf and a children's park within walking distance of the house. If it happens to rain one day, there are DVD's available to watch and games to play. When it's time for bed, they will love retreating to their Mickey, Frozen or Star Wars room ready for a good night's rest dreaming of their next day's adventures!
Area Information
Located in Emerald Island Resort, a 24 hour, secure, gated community, a short drive to theme parks (one of the closest to Disney), restaurants and every kind of shopping imaginable. The property's club house hosts a beautiful, heated outdoor pool and spa, exercise room and Tiki Bar with a small menu of food, snacks and drinks for purchase. Take a walk on the resort's nature walking trails, enjoy a game of volley ball in the sand volleyball court, shoot some hoops in the basketball court, or try your hand at tennis on one of the tennis courts. Play pickle ball, mini golf or rent a bike. There are children's play areas throughout the community, one located within walking distance of our home. Emerald Island Resort is a quiet, family friendly community, a great place to relax and come home to after long days of running around. It's a community that has something for everyone, whether you're young or just young at heart.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
A children's play area is just around the corner. A little bit of a hike, but a nice walk to clubhouse and all its amenities including mini golf.
Favorite Places To Eat
For those that want something fast or on the go, Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, McDonalds Portillo and Taco Bell are just minutes away. Let's not forget HOT Krispy Kreme donuts for the mornings or anytime you're craving something sweet. If you are looking to sit down and have a meal close to Emerald Island, there is an Outback, Red Lobster, Bonefish Grill, Longhorne, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Cracker Barrel, Texas Road House, Lazy Dog, Bob Evans, Olive Garden, Panera Bread, Miller's, On the Border, Bahama Breeze, and many more. There is also Chinese takeout and pizza. If you want a place to walk around and enjoy some outdoor dining, downtown Celebration is beautiful. Celebration Town Tavern is just one of many restaurants there with great food and service. Kilwins Ice Cream Shop and a tasty macaroon shop are right there too. If you want ice cream near the house, Twistee Treat is right on Route 192, a short drive from the house and it's so good! There is a delicious, authentic Italian restaurant called Villa Italiano Chophouse, a short drive away. Another great place to shop, eat and walk around is Sunset Walk. Very close to EIR and has great shops and restaurants to choose from with indoor/outdoor dining. (Right next to H2O)
Inside Scoop
There is Walmart that is always hopping no matter what time you are there. We prefer the Walmart on Route 27 in Clermont. It's a little less crazy than the local Walmart and only about six miles away. The Super Target is a short drive from the resort (our favorite), much quieter and less hectic. Publix is only a short drive away, very clean and well stocked but a little more pricey. If you like Aldi's (great prices and an amazing store to get in and out of rather quickly), is a little up the road on Route 192. And Walgreens is only a couple miles away if you need their services for any reason. Grub Hub, Uber Eats, and grocery delivery are available right to your front door. If you need something from Amazon, don't fret, they will also do front door delivery if it won't be coming from the USPS. Please note, USPS does NOT deliver to Emerald Island Resort. EIR is a great location with so much nearby but also quiet and private. The best of both worlds.

About the owner: We are from New Jersey, and thrilled to own a little piece of paradise in the sunshine state. It's a home we love to share with awesome guests and with those we love most in this world. We love to travel and spend time with family and friends whether it's swimming, taking walks, playing cards and board games (love Phase 10) or chatting around the fire pit. The family motto we try to live by goes like this: "Life is short. Make the most of it. Put God first. Love deeply. Forgive quickly. Laugh a lot!"
Why this property? Our family has always talked about owning a home in the Disney area . We have been frequent visitors since we were kids and our own children have been coming since they were babies. We live in New Jersey so visiting Florida during our long, cold winters, is wonderful. We also find being at Disney and the other theme parks to be a little escape from reality anytime of the year. Our dream to own a home in Florida became a reality for us in January 2020 (right before Covid hit - yikes!). It's great not to only have it for ourselves, but also to be able to share it with others. We are most definitely grateful, thankful and blessed. Emerald Island Resort is so close to Disney (big bonus) and is a beautiful, quiet, family friendly community close to everything we love to do.

First let me start out by saying, as a family we do Florida for approximately 5 weeks at a time every year. With that being said our hosts were the most accommodating that we had ever had. The house was perfect. The set up was perfect for our situation. Pool and hot tub made for us adults never having to leave while the adult kids ventured out like they do. Game room definitely a plus. The essentials that were there for us when we arrived definitely welcomed us. Soaps, shampoos, toiletries beach towels and even a care package for us and our 15 year old pup who we were blessed to be able to bring with us. We personally travel with our own television to put out on Lani and THATS where we spend ALL our time. Plenty of seating around two large tables. Kitchen well stocked, grill out back with propane tanks stocked. Need I say more Thank you Les and JoAnn

Mickey’s Mansion is an exceptional rental property that we were lucky enough to stay in! The house is huge, clean, and has everything that we could have possibly needed for our stay. At one point, we had 10 people in the house and it was still so roomy! It was so close to all of the parks, and an easy distance from some state parks and beaches as well! When we needed rest, we didn’t feel confined to our room as we would have in a hotel. Private pool/hot tub was available to us without having to fight to space near a hotel resort pool. We were able to cook full meals in the house to save a little money on food. When we weren’t cooking our own meals, there were plenty of excellent options to eat at nearby! There is also an awesome game room in the garage that we were able to use during down time. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is planning a trip to the Orlando area! I won’t be staying anywhere else when I go to visit!

Our group of 7 came down for the Princess Half Marathon Race and added some additional days before and after. We had an absolute wonderful time. Things were great from the moment we booked. Communication with the owners was excellent. We were in own from the moment we walked in. Everything looked beautiful and in excellent condition. Everyone had their own bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to be able to get ready quickly. Super close to all the parks and for the race days, it was easy to get to the parks without the stress of waiting for the shuttles and dealing with thousands of other runners also trying to get there. Each room was beautifully decorated and the game room was great. The pool and hot tub proved to be a perfect way for the group of runners to relax after their half marathon. I would recommend this house to anyone who has a large group. There is plenty of room for everyone and easy to get wherever you want to go. We will definitely stay there again if we are in that area.

Our family of seven has a fantastic time staying at Mickey’s Mansion. The house is everything you could ask for. Multiple themed rooms create that Disney atmosphere throughout the home. JoAnn and Lesare just the type of people you would want to rent a home from during your vacation. They were always quick to reply, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a great trip. The house is spacious and we absolutely loved the books, movies, puzzles, games, and pool. The rooms are decorated in a fun manner to make you feel as if you're still at the parks even after you return home. A wonderful place to stay with a big family!!!

My family and I stayed at Mickey’s Mansion in February/March 2022 and had an amazing experience! The house is beautiful and spacious. We had multiple families on this trip and everyone was able to have their own space.The pool and hot tub were a great addition and I think my toddler enjoyed those more than any of the rides she went on in Disney World! The game room was also a lot of fun!The house was in a great location - a short drive to all of the Disney parks and close to a ton of restaurants and stores, but it was still nice and quiet and in a very safe area.We would definitely stay here again next time we come to the Orlando area!

We can’t say enough of wonderful things about this home! From the beginning of our trip to the very last sad day that we had to leave, we had a wonderful time! Beautiful rooms that would make any child happy, from the Star Wars room to Frozen room, and of course the Mickey room, there are plenty of rooms to choose from. There’s also a Harry Potter game room that we spent a lot of our evenings enjoying the multiple games, pool table and the Ms. Pack Man game! The pool and hot tub are refreshing and very clean along with the kitchen which had everything we needed! We will definitely come back to this beautiful home! Thank you!

This getaway was just what my family needed. It was the perfect change of scenery. We were able to go to Mickey's Mansion to celebrate my son's birthday. His favorite things were the Star Wars Room, Harry Potter game room and lots of pool time. Although we did not go into the parks, we had much needed family time in sunny Florida. The hosts were very kind and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back again!

We loved staying at Mickey's Mansion! The indoor and outdoor spaces are both wonderful. Our kids enjoyed the pool immensely throughout the week. I loved serving meals and snacks on the lanai so the kids could jump right back in the pool. Everything in the house is spotlessly cleaned. The kitchen is well organized, labeled, and stocked with cookware, small appliances, etc. to make meal prep easy and mom stress-free:) . The decor is fun and really well done. It definitely adds to the ambiance of a relaxing get-away... and a magical place for kids with the themed bedrooms. We particularly enjoyed the game room on a couple rainy afternoons. The house had plenty of DVDs to keep our kids entertained too. The extras at the house (e.g. bathroom step stool, booster seat, umbrella stroller) also made packing for our 3 year old easy. Les and Joann are excellent hosts who made us feel welcome and responded quickly to all our questions. They also provided lots of information and tips about the surrounding area. This home gave us a perfect place to relax, enjoy Disney, and take a day trip to the beach. We would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended! Great home to vacation with our family and friends.

Our vacation stay in this home, especially during COVID-19, was truly a GOD sent blessing!! The home was beautiful and comfortable. The owners were helpful, friendly and attentive to any need we could have, although we had NO ISSUES. It was truly a memorable family trip. We did not want to go out too much due to the pandemic, so we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the house, especially the pool, Jacuzzi and the grill. Our neighbors were nice and jealous ;) of our fun in our gorgeous spacious home as they constantly smelled the aroma of good cookout food that they raved over. We have been coming to Florida for years in celebration of my mother's heavenly birthday, but by all means this trip was one of the best. The drive was wonderful with NO TRAFFIC on I-4 and the house was great. You cannot go wrong with booking this house! It came equipped with everything!! WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN!!
