Villa Nena is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath lagoon-front Villa! The home includes a private dock with shore power that can accommodate a boat up to 60' (canal is 30' deep), plenty of parking for cars (up to 4 cars), and a boat trailer. With a two minute drive to Sombrero Beach, you have everything you need for the perfect Keys vacation! Located in the heart of Marathon, you are minutes from activities and restaurants and only a 5 to 10 minute boat ride to open water from the dock!
Each bedroom has a bathroom and a king bed. One bedroom includes a king bed with a twin bed.

Minimum age of renter is 25 years old.
Reservation must be confirmed 70 days before arrival.
No parties or events allowed.
No pets allowed.
No smoking inside the home is allowed.

Being in the heart of Marathon, we can enjoy our slice of paradise while also being close to essential stores such as Walgreens, Publix, and much more. In addition, Marathon is the 3rd most populated city in the Florida Keys. It includes some luxuries of city life such as a golf course, high-end restaurants, and a country club. Being in the center of the Florida Keys, our guests our close enough to take day trips to Miami (2 hour drive) or Key West (1 hour drive).
Villa Nena is unique in that it sits in a beautiful lagoon just 10 min from the ocean. Our guests can use our kayaks to cruise around in the lagoon or up and down the canal, fish off our dock, or enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
Why Kids Love It
Villa Nena and Marathon are very kid friendly. Kids enjoy fishing right off the dock during the day or at night (we have lights along the top and bottom of the dock for safety). Kids also enjoy going to the beach, playing in the water, and kayaking through the canals. There are also a lot of local activities such as snorkeling, charter fishing, swimming with Dolphins, visiting a Turtle Hospital, and more.

Just 85 miles from Miami and 50 miles from Key West, Marathon is perfectly located in the heart of the keys with incredible restaurants, local shopping, and every water activity imaginable. Set on 13 islands in the Florida Keys, the city also boasts some of the best deep-sea, reef, and flats fishing in the world!

(3) A refundable minimum damage deposit of $750 is required. Will vary depending on the length of stay. (4) We reserve the right to cancel any booking for any reason. About the owner: Hi, we are a Cuban couple from Miami. We purchased this home in Marathon in 2017 as a place to unplug, spend time with our kids, and escape the craziness of the city. Because we also like to travel, we decided to rent out our home so others can create memories of their own in our beautiful slice of paradise! We hope you enjoy our home as much as we have!
Why this property? We chose this home because of its location: it's close to Miami (< 2 hour drive) and Key West (< 1 hour drive). It also sits on a beautiful lagoon, with a beautiful view of the sunset, and close proximity to the ocean and beach.

Had a great time during our stay at Casa Nena, very comfortable, well equipped & Jose was great answering quickly all my questions about Marathon area & house, we had not been to Keys since before Covid & storm. Although fishing was not what we expected, nobody was catching anything but small “no keepers” that we left very well fed, but it was my husband’s birthday & we had a great family time making new memories. Can’t go wrong with decision to stay here, Marathon area is convenient to everything, & house neighborhood is quiet, great views & glad we got to know it all.

This was our 2nd vacation at Villa Nena, our family had a wonderful time once again at this amazing property! Boaters' paradise, with easy, breathtaking acces to the ocean and great, well equipped dock. We love the unique shape of the house, the all around windows give you sensational panoramic views form every bedroom. House is kept very clean, lots of entertainment for lazy days, stores and restaurants within minutes. Every minute was worth spending there! Thank You!

Flamingo Island was perfect for our needs for our family Spring Break. Quiet and unassuming! Apart from the traffic on US1, we would did not even realize it was a busy season. The breeze coming off of the water was refreshing and we enjoyed the watching the boaters pass by. The 360 views were awesome and the home was well appointed. It actually makes think ahead to our own retirement in the Fabulous Florida Keys!

We stayed at this property in December after Charismas. The views from the patio were amazing. This property is at the end of the road in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed watching the pelicans form the Patio. The owner was terrific.

We stayed during the first week of April 2021. It was the first time we traveled with our three small children to the keys. You simply cannot beat the location of the home. The view is amazing - the home is situated on a point with 180 degree views of the creeks and little bays. We brought our 24’ center console. The dock was very convenient. We boated and fished everywhere! The house is just a few minutes from the boat landing, short car ride to sombrero beach, and by boat plenteous restaurants, sandbars, the 7-mile bridge, the gulf and the ocean. Just could ask for a better setup. The home came equipped with everything you need for a wonderful trip in Marathon. Separate bait freezer for the fisherman, and a fully stocked setup for kayaking. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the home and would recommend your next vacation here!

The home was beautiful and on a corner canal/lake. Kayaks available.. The kids were able to fish and caught many different types of fish, including tarpon! Easy access to open water for those of us who love fishing! Can't wait til next year!

Kacy P.Fabulous private retreat with amazing water and wildlife views
We booked Villa Nena for the week in between Christmas and New Years - it was a week in paradise. Not only was the house spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, the location is divine - every room in the house has views of the stunning lagoon. The property is also very large and private - we made excellent use of the kayaks and the easy water access. It was absolute heaven to start the day with coffee on the deck and watch the pelicans and boats go by. Truly a spectacular visit.
