About the host: Mike and Karen have a vision to serve others and create a place for family and friends to relax, refresh, and reconnect.
Mike and Karen have hosted on AirBnB for several years. They had a three story home on 2 ½ acres where they raised their three children. When their last child moved out, they had a big house with empty rooms. Mike’s brother recommended they do AirBnB. They were a little skeptical, but moved forward with trying it out. Immediately a friend had an emergency and needed a place for their family to stay and became their first customers. The first year was a time of learning and growing. By the second season they were fully booked and decided to add a kitchen and make a 2nd AirBNB space. Deciding it was time to downsize, the wonderful property was sold. Mike and Karen then moved to a place on a canal, just off the Caloosahatchee River. After living on the water, they realized the beauty and excitement of it and decided it was time to purchase and share their water properties.
As their three children were growing up they vacationed with Mike’s extended family every year at a lake resort in Minnesota. They were able to connect with each other during the vacation week having fun playing games, fishing, shopping, water skiing, and enjoying meals together. The families didn’t live close together and the week at the lake allowed them to have the bond of fellowship each year.
At Bay of Grace, Mike and Karen welcome you to their vacation home where you can gather together to relax, refresh, and reconnect finding the same bond of fellowship they in found with their families during their vacations.
Why this property? This Property caught our eye with its fantastic pool system and boat docks right on the river with access to the Gulf of Mexico. We liked the location and opportunity for a great rental. It has been recently remodeled and is pet friendly. It is located less than 5 minutes from I-75 with easy access from the 5 major airports, and visits to Naples, Tampa, Miami, Orlando, etc.

Beautiful and peaceful..;)
The location was very amazing, right on the water! My older boys wanted to fish, and this was perfect for them. The pool and hot tub were heated nicely, and my younger children enjoyed going in, while us adults enjoyed the hot tub! Mostly, the view was so pretty! Also, the owner, Mike, was amazing! He took very good care of us! For example, when we needed a channel added to watch the March madness basketball games, he was very responsive and came through right away! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we found ourselves very comfortable..;)The only negative is that there is a resort across the way that hosted a huge wedding our last night there, and it was quite loud and busy.. just took away some of the peace. Something to consider if you are going there. The other nights were beautiful!

So amazing i want to buy this home !!!!!
Words cannot explain the view from the patio ! The sunsets are amazing. I posted a couple pictures on (Hidden by Airbnb) and my friends thought we were in a different country. The inside of the home is beautiful the outside is beautiful we spent almost every evening in the pool and hot tub. We didn’t even spend any time in the amazing living room with the huge TV we were outside on the patio every evening and it was 90° this is a must for you next vacation. Mike called me seconds after I booked and and gave me the rundown of everything and also texted me a link to their website which is very helpful grade a host and a beautiful property.
