Lake View Villa With Private Heated South Facing Pool in popular Beachwalk Isles

The villa is in a gated community and has 4 bedrooms, 2 queen size bed rooms, one is a master bedroom with a large walk in closet and en-suite with large Roman bath, two washbasins, cupboards underneath and a separate shower unit. The other queen bedroom shares the family bathroom with 2 twin bedded rooms. There are two lounges, one with dining area and the other with patio doors leading out to the south facing lanai and pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all one could wish for in a holiday home, huge American fridge/freezer with ice making machine, 4 ringed ceramic hob and large oven, dishwasher, microwave and waste disposal. There is a separate laundry room with washer and drier. The garage has space for 2 cars. Outside on the lanai there is a large dining table and chairs for al fresco dining and 4 sun loungers for enjoying the wall to wall sunshine overlooking the lake which abounds with wildlife. The pool and lanai area are south facing and you can see the sun rise in the morning and it stays until just before sunset.

The principal reason we picked this villa for our vacation home was the wonderful view over the lake from the lanai, the abundant wildlife is a joy to behold. At sunrise you can watch the birds landing in the adjacent bald cypress trees warming themselves and singing to welcome the sunrise. The lake itself lights up as the sun rises over it, looks spectacular and it is a great pleasure to enjoy breakfast on the patio in the warmth of Florida. The villa is in walking distance to Supertarget and a number of restaurants.
Several golf courses are within easy driving distances.
It is an easy drive to the beautiful beaches of Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva. You can often spot dolphins playing in the sea and the ospreys hunting for fish.

Why Kids Love It

The private pool is a magnet for the children. There is nothing better after spending a day out coming back to the villa for a refreshing dip in the pool.
Lakes Park is a perfect place to take children as there are lots of amenities for them ranging from water playgrounds, bikes for hire, train rides and spotting the odd alligator.
There are several crazy golfcourses within a short distance.

Area Information

Beachwalk Isles is a gated 3 lake community and is very close to supermarkets, restaurants, beaches and Sanibel outlets is about 2 mile away for a bit of retail therapy.
For golfers there are many municipal courses, the closest is San Carlos and Fort Myers Country Club, both within a 10-15 minute drive.
For movie buffs, Bell Tower has multi-screens and for great fun try the Beach Theatre on Estero where you can have a meal and drink whilst watching a movie in comfortable armchairs.
On Sanibel Ding Darling Wildlife Reserve is fantastic for going at low tide to see a multitude of birds.
For the more adventurous a day trip to the Everglades is well worth doing.
A must do is a visit to the Edison Ford Estate in downtown Fort Myers.

Favorite Places To Eat

Doc Fords has a wonderful setting overlooking the back bay and has great views. In season there are groups playing and the food is good.
Pinchers Crab Shack is great for taking kids as the kids eat free every day.
Road house For music lovers there is fine dining and jazz players and is within walking distance.
The very small intimate restaurant called Blanc is a 5 minute drive away.
