It is a perfect location for memorable family vacations, honeymoons, or just some time away. When you stay at Grace River Island you have a large 6 bedroom house that sleeps 20 people, a large bonus room, heated swimming pool, hot tub, and two private Gazebos. It is the perfect place to RELAX, REFRESH, and RECONNECT. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am and music must be kept at a minimum level at other times. No loud parties are allowed.
As you enter the gate to the property, the driveway, lined with traveler and queen palms, stretches ahead of you. Soon you will see the 4700 square foot island house which has a 2000 square foot deck, a nice kitchen, a large living room, and a family room, and five-plus bedrooms. The house has a sunken dining room with a large single dining table where the whole group can enjoy meals together. An air-conditioned sunroom overlooks both the river and the pool, making a great place to fellowship or play board games.
It is a delight to share our beautiful, QUIET island with you.
This is a one of a kind property with two Gazebos overlooking the river, a clubhouse with ping pong and foosball as well as other outdoor games. There is a pool with a great view of the Caloosahatchee River as well as a hot tub. Grace river Island has a large living room with a large TV. There is also a separate family room. Boaters are welcome, there is a dock for tying up your boat. Kayaks and fishing poles are available for use as well. This is a great place for a Fun Family Experience.
Why Kids Love It
The clubhouse is made just for the kids to enjoy some time together playing ping pong, air hock and fun outdoor games like Corn Hole, Frizbee Can Jam, Ladder Golf, Putting Greens, Washer Toss, Bochee Ball, Jenga etc The pool is also a favorite of the children with noodles, floaties and other fun items for the kids to play with.
The island is a unique space as there are very few islands on the Caloosahatchee River that have homes on them. And our property is easily accessible via a land bridge.
This is a private gated island. However, we share the neighborhood with other properties. And noise travels easily over the water. So we ask that noise levels be kept low during the day and STRICT quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am and music must be kept at a minimum level at all times. No loud parties!
The views of the river and sunsets are spectacular. You will see an abundance of wildlife on the island. You might even see manatees, dolphins, eagles, and osprey.
Finally, our property has the benefit of being in the quiet country, but still close to airports, beaches, fishing, sporting events, shopping, and other attractions.

About the owner: Mike and Karen have a vision to serve others and create a place for family and friends to relax, refresh, and reconnect.
Mike and Karen have hosted on AirBnB for several years. They had a three story home on 2 ½ acres where they raised their three children. When their last child moved out, they had a big house with empty rooms. Mike’s brother recommended they do AirBnB. They were a little skeptical, but moved forward with trying it out. Immediately a friend had an emergency and needed a place for their family to stay and became their first customers. The first year was a time of learning and growing. By the second season they were fully booked and decided to add a kitchen and make a 2nd AirBNB space. Deciding it was time to downsize, the wonderful property was sold. Mike and Karen then moved to a place on a canal, just off the Caloosahatchee River. Mike won a boat in a drawing and they began exploring the area by boat. On one of their ventures they found this wonderful, tropical island and knew it could be shared with others, just as they had shared their other home.
As their three children were growing up they vacationed with Mike’s extended family every year at a lake resort in Minnesota. They were able to connect with each other during the vacation week having fun playing games, fishing, shopping, water skiing, and enjoying meals together. The families didn’t live close together and the week at the lake allowed them to have the bond of fellowship each year.
At Grace River Island Resort, Mike and Karen welcome you to their vacation home where you can gather together to relax, refresh, and reconnect finding the same bond of fellowship they in found with their families during their vacations.
Why this property? My wife saw this property while we were boating and knew it had great potential for hosting large family gatherings. We took the plunge and have a beautiful place for you to spend special time together.

We took our entire family of 13 the week after Christmas and had a wonderful time. The views and sunsets are amazing from this house. The quiet setting was so nice. We had so much fun playing the board games on a huge dining room table that seats at least 16! Kayaks are provided, hot tub, heated pool, yard games, ping pong, air hockey...It was fantastic! So relaxing! We will definitely be back again, as there is something for everyone to do. The outdoor space is second to none! Mike was so helpful with all of our questions and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Looking forward to Christmas 2022!
