Our guests truly enjoy staying at our beachfront, one-bedroom condo at the Villas of Venice condo complex in Venice, FL. Our condo includes: a living room/kitchen combination, a separate bedroom, an attached lanai (Florida room), and a full private bathroom.
Located directly on Golden Beach, on the beautiful Island of Venice, Florida, our condo can comfortably sleep up to six people with the following bedding arrangement: one King-Bed, one Double-Bed, and one Sleeper Sofa-Bed.
** Our accommodations include fresh linens and towels upon your arrival, as well as a full-equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home, including: refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, glassware, dishware, silverware, cookware, and utensils. Great for saving money on dining out!!
** BBQ grilling area and coin-operated laundry facilities are located next to our huge, beautiful, crystal clear, Olympic swimming pool with depths of 3.5 feet to 11+ Feet.
** We provide conveniently Free on-site numbered parking and on premise coin-operated laundry facilities.
** Take pleasure in long, relaxing, tranquil walks on the beach - Venice, FL, which is just south of Sarasota, along Florida's white-sanded Gulf Coast, offers 14 miles of beaches from Casey Key to Manasota Key. The beaches provide plenty of recreational opportunities, including: swimming, sunbathing, fishing, boating, shelling, and shark tooth hunting. Many visitors and locals alike search for fossilized shark teeth on the beach, as Venice, Florida is known as the "Shark Tooth Capital of the World."
** Take in the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable at one of our two (2) beachfront Gazebos while sipping on a cool drink and enjoying the sights and sounds of the pristine Gulf of Mexico.
** Our condo is within a five minute drive to all area amenities, including: Shopping, Groceries, Restaurants, Municipal Fishing Pier, Golf, Tennis, Jetties, Theater, Historic downtown Venice Avenue shopping district, and much more!
** We are located 1/2 hour south of Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota; 1.5 hours south of Tampa; 1 hour north of Fort Myers, and 2.5 hours from Disney World.
Unique Benefits
The main attraction to this beachfront hidden gem is the close proximity to our private beachfront. Our condo complex is situated directly on Golden Beach which is located on the beautiful Island of Venice, Florida. To access our private beachfront, there are no long walks or car rides to take to get to the beach. Guests simply take a short 100 yard walk to the west, along the common east/west sidewalk withing the condo complex, where they will arrive at or pristine beachfront.
Another main attraction to our beachfront condo complex is that it includes a huge Olympic swimming pool for all guests to utilize for their relaxation and enjoyment.
The other reason that makes our beachfront condo unique is the two beachfront gazebos located at the west end of our condo complex. The gazebo's provide a perfect spot to watch and enjoy the pristine views of the Gulf of Mexico and some of the most gorgeous sunsets that can ever be seen.
Lastly, we chose Venice, Florida because it is know as "The Shark Tooth Capital of the World." Many residents and guests alike enjoy partaking in combing the beach for fossilized teeth from prehistoric sharks. With storms and waves naturally occurring, the fossils are slowly driven into the shallow waters and then up onto the beach.
Why Kids Love It
Children tend to love our beachfront condo too. They love searching for fossilized shark teeth or shells on the beach and making castles in the sand. Kids also enjoy the Olympic swimming pool once they had their fun on our private beachfront.

If you come to Venice in search of shark teeth, we suggest that you take a short drive one mile south to Caspersen Beach, which is a nationally recognized “Blue Wave Certification” beach. Not only does Caspersen have sparkling clear light blue and turquoise waters, it’s far enough away from large crowds and has no residential areas of any kind; this means no homes, no hotels, no condos, no high rises. Caspersen Beach is just a beautiful, four mile long sandy beach that has been left virtually untouched in its natural state and is somewhat secluded. Caspersen is the longest beach in Sarasota County and is a great place to go hunting for shark teeth or sea shells.

We Have a Two-Night Minimum most of the year.
Last two weeks of December requires a minimum 7 night stay.

NOTE: Smoking is strictly prohibited in any condo unit or within any common area on the condo property.
Additionally, pets, boats, trailers, RVs, campers, and motor homes are not allowed on the property per our condominium association bylaws.
There will be a $100 locksmith fee charged to any guest who happens to lock themselves out of the condo unit they're staying in.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE OF ANY FUNDS RECEIVED BY VENICE VACATION RENTALS FOR A RESERVATION CANCELLATION UNLESS A WRITTEN CANCELLATION NOTICE IS POSTMARKED AND RECEIVED BY VENICE VACATION RENTALS NO LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF CHECK-IN.

• 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date

Why this property? We chose to purchase our vacation rental condominium in Venice Florida because of our beachfront location and the quiet uncrowded atmosphere surrounding our villas. In addition, Venice is known for its friendly, small-town feel, its quaint shopping center of low-rise buildings that are primarily in a Mediterranean style, and its lovely boulevard shaded by giant live oaks that extends from downtown to the beckoning beach. The beach, starting at the northern edge of the city where the Venice jetties open a passage from the Intra-coastal Waterway to the Gulf of Mexico, extends for miles. Much of it is undeveloped and merges into Sarasota County’s Caspersen Beach Park. Prehistoric sharks' teeth (there is no problem with sharks) are found on the beaches at Venice and Caspersen. Venice is known as the “Shark’s Tooth Capital of the World.” In addition to the lovely beach, a central park along Venice's main street, Venice Avenue, is the site of concerts, arts and craft shows, and various special events. Besides visiting the quaint shops, boutiques, and the central park along Venice Avenue, Venice offers many other activities to its residents and guests alike. There are many public golf courses to enjoy in the Venice area for the golf enthusiast. Fishermen have an abundance of areas to sport for that big catch too. Fishing is very popular at the 750 foot long Venice Municipal Fishing Pier located on Venice Island. In addition, the North and South Jetty's are also very popular for fishing. Of course, much fishing is also done in the surf directly on the beaches. The most common response of people who move here or who return each year to visit, is, “When we drove down Venice Avenue past the shops and parks and saw the beach, we knew this was where we wanted to be.” We invite you to see for yourself. Two of us stayed in a one bedroom rental for a week. Quiet, clean. Basic equipment in the kitchen but only a toaster oven, so don’t plan on pizza. You are required to wash your dishes and put away-no dishwasher so the cleanliness of the kitchen wares relies on previous tenants. Hot water works, AC works. Nice pool and access to the beach directly from property. I would return here again.

We were happy to learn that you felt that the condo was great, but feel bad that you were disappointed that the pool was not heated. Unfortunately, you did not look carefully at our listing on Florida at the time that you made your reservation. No where in our listing does it state that the pool is heated. Our condo association does not want to heat the pool due to cost. This is beyond our control.

This is an older property and is not a fancy hotel, but if you want a spacious rental in a peaceful, quiet location, this is it. An easy quick walk down the sidewalk along the parking lot takes you right to the beach. (If you have kids and a lot of beach stuff to carry, you may want to bring a wagon.) Previous guests left floats, chairs, fossil sifters, and umbrellas in the closet for our use, which was nice.
