The private pool is located a large screened-in deck with perfect patio seating area and Weber gas grill for all those fun family pool party moments! Just like an outdoor living room with lighting and ceiling fans for that island breeze feel! Enter the pool via wide ease of entry steps with handrail. The in-ground swimming pool with its pristine tile sparkles in the morning sunlight and has a spa seating area for just the two of you! Wonderful for family fun or a romantic moonlight swim for two! The grounds are fully enclosed with privacy white vinyl fencing. The pool deck doubles as a bar area with kitchen pass though, bar top and two stools - Cocktails anytime!
Indoors the tiled floors are pleasantly cool under foot, just the way a Mediterranean style home should be. The walls are a very pleasant warm linen cream with classic white trim. Lots of open space, uncluttered with Florida breeze high vaulted ceilings in living area. Blue leather living room comfortable seating to enjoy flat panel Smart television. All your favorite apps including login to Netflix. And yes, the house is WIFI ready for your on-line ease! Add a selection of our board games and books for a more memorable moments!
The three comfortable bedrooms are in a split floor plan layout which add to your privacy, laid out with classic Florida wicker furniture. The king bedroom over looks the pool and has sliding door access for those who love private early morning dips. It also has its own on suite bathroom as well as its own walk in closet. This bedroom has flat screen TV with Roku. The queen bedroom and double twin bedroom share a bathroom and are situated on the opposite side of the house from the king bedroom. Fresh bed linens are accompanied by a closet full of soft blue towels and a basket of colorful beach towels. There is a large washer and dryer to handle any of your laundry needs during your stay.
The fully appliances kitchen is equipped with everything you could need during your stay, including all your cocktail making items! Large fridge with freezer on the bottom, range, microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of storage space and food preparation surfaces. Bright, airy open plan kitchen for ease of entertaining or just everyday living!
Fantastic beaches one 8 minutes away and three others 15 minutes away. The world famous Siesta Key beach just 25 minutes. Here the shark tooth finds abound! Using the shark tooth finder that we provide for you, you can fill your pockets full of various size shark teeth to take back home to share with friends and family. Real artifacts, millions of years old and your personal memory treasure! Also at the house you will find beach chairs, umbrella and cooler to round out you beach pleasure - just bring your own flipflops!
Our home has a great air conditioning system to keep you cool even on the warmest day, as well as a heating system should you need it during the cooler months!

Our private beach is totally unique in Florida! Most places access the beaches via bridges. If you are a monthly renter then you will be able to purchase a monthly pass for $50 to access our private beach on small ferry boat. If you are renting for less than a month then 4 other public access beaches are open to you. 4 great beaches to choose from. close to three local beaches. Manasota Key beach 8 minute drive, Caspersen Beach 15 mins, Venice beach 15 mins and Nokomis Beach with its two jetties is 20 minutes. These are all really the same beach along the coast with different access point. All have free parking and bathrooms. Access to our private association beach is for monthly renters only! Their rules! Access is via ferry boat shuttle 5 minutes boat ride across the intercoastal waterway. Ferry runs from 9am to just after sunset. Summer M.We had a nice stay
We stayed for a week. The house was clean and nice. Pool was great. Dee was great with communication. The private ferry to the beach was very nice and convenient. There are some locals that use the ferry daily that were.... let's just say abrasive. The ferry captains are nice and knowledgeable about the area. The beach area and dock are well taken care of. There was a bit of red tide and some dead fish but nothing that kept us away. There were a couple minor issues but not worth mentioning as a negative. The house had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The back yard was big and seemed secure for dogs. We didn't bring our dogs this time but we know we can next time. The TV was confusing for us. We don't have experience with any of the streaming type TV apps and it took me a while to figure out the two different remotes for the living room and bedroom. I kept selecting movies to watch but they were all things you had to pay for or subscribe and we don't do that so I kept having to back out to find something else. We did get to watch some cool shows and Disney movies once I figured it out though. To sum up, we liked it and would stay there again. Oh by the way.... we found over 1000 shark teeth!

Wonderful home to rent! Dee is very understanding and patient! The home has tons of amenities and plenty of towels and linens. The pool was perfect! If you want a nice relaxing place to stay I would definitely recommend this home! I would rent again!

We spent 6 days at Miss Dee's beautiful home. Even weeks before our visit Miss Dee was crazy accomadting. I would reach out to her with random questions and it never seemed as I was bothering her. When we arrived at the house everything was perfect. It has EVERYTHING a person could want or need for a wonderful stay. We were so happy and relaxed right at the house and pool that we skipped the beach altogether. We rested and relaxed; it was a most wonderful trip. When we come back we will definitely stay right here.

The neighbourhood is very quiet, walking distance for the 5 min. ferry for the beach. The pool is a nice feature to swim and relax in the lanai. Dee (the owner) very sweet lady, eager to help in anyways, was quick to answer our questions. The location was perfect. We spent 3 beautiful weeks in december 2019.

Well-kept vacation home was a great place to stay for our long weekend trip to Florida. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home is convenient to local beaches, fishing, shopping, and restaurants. Owner Dee has provided all the accessories you could think of for outdoor fun including bikes and kayaks! We also took the neighborhood ferry to a private beach access where we were able to search for shells and fossil shark teeth!

If you would like the pool heated during the cooler months, the rate is $25 per day and we'll have it all nice a warm ready for your arrival!
Yes, the bikes trails begin at Shamrock Park about 10 minute cycle from our house and it links with the Legacy Trail. You can go for miles! Very beautiful ride.
There are many places, you can transport and use them wherever you would like. If you want to stay local there is a put in place about 5 minute drive from the house. We provide foam car top carrier kits for you to use.
