About the Property
Our Home is a 3BR 2BA single-family home in a quiet neighborhood 6 miles from Disney. Private, south-facing heated pool- it's always in the sun! Equipped with secure WiFi, full-size kitchen, all linens, and laundry. No smoking anywhere on the Property. No pets. Rates from $125 per night, $20 additional for pool heat. Sleeps 8. Memory foam mattresses on king and queen. Also, full and twin bunk bed plus additional twin bed
We have owned our vacation home since 1995, so we have a lot of experience with hosting guests! Ours is a relaxing home which is great for a multi-generational vacation. It is comfortable and has enough different spaces that folks can be together or apart as suits their needs. There are little things like strollers to make the trip to Disney a little easier, a tent and sleeping bags for the kids to play in, and a host of books (both fiction and non-fiction) for all ages. The family room has 3 recliners for great relaxing. Nothing beats swimming in the pool in the dark with the underwater light on!
Our guests have full access to the home including a garage, the pool area, and the 3BR, 2BA. The entire house has full size appliances including the kitchen and laundry room. There are all the linens needed for a great Florida trip including beach towels. Appliances include microwave, stove/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, disposer, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. Having access to the kitchen can help with your budget since it is easy to eat breakfast at home, then pack a lunch to take during your outing! Once payment has been received, we send our guests the front door code and WiFi access information.
As we give our guests the code to the house's lockbox, there is no check-in or out process, thus making our face-to-face interaction with you quite minimal! We have a property manager who is available by phone 24/7 for issues if they arise.
If you are considering booking our home around the following holidays, (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years) please only book if you are staying for at least 7 days. Please also note that the Cleaning Fees for bookings that leave on those 3 holidays are double or $160. Our back yard is surrounded by privacy fences and a hedge row, leading to a very private feel. The screened-in pool area has a table which seats 6, as well as 4 chaise lounges. There are always both sunny and shady areas for the people relaxing on the deck. Although we love pets, absolutely no pets are allowed at our house.
Our house is in a quiet neighborhood of private residences, in an area where the traffic is low. We are located off 192 near the commercial stretch of businesses between 27 and Disney's South Gate.
How to get around- Most of our guests have either driven to the house or have gotten a rental car at the airport. Almost every convenience desired is available within a 25-minute drive, either on 192 or 27. There are grocery stores (Publix), grocery/discount stores (Target and Wal-Mart) , and drug stores (CVS and Walgreens) within 10 minutes of the house. The neighborhood is great for walking or riding bikes. There is a middle school about 2 miles away which has basketball courts for public use. We like to walk to the ice cream stand! Our favorite beach - Clearwater- is about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Cocoa Beach and Daytona on the Atlantic coast are a bit closer. Showcase of Citrus, a pick-it-yourself citrus grove, is a fun place to pick your own oranges and grapefruits. There is also a nice beach at Lake Louisa State park about 15 minutes from the house up 27.
