Welcome to La Casita on the Island (The Little House on the Island) "Our house, our casita" If you want a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather of Florida, I invite you to see the "encanto" (charm) that you can experience during your stay at La Casita on the Island.
Enjoy Orlando, Florida, home to Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure, in style. Conveniently located on the Exclusive Emerald Island Resort. The house is spacious where family can enjoy being together and also have some alone time. Our home is within minutes of all the Orlando attractions, golf courses, shopping, and exciting night life. No Stairs in this home. Everything is conveniently all on one level. Two separate master bedrooms with En-suite. Heated pool and space in private screen in yard.
Emerald Island is in a prime location just 5 Minutes from Disney, 15 from Epcot and 20 minutes from Universal. We are within easy reach of all the world class golf courses and a couple of minutes from mini golf. The Outlet Mall is just 15 minutes or less.
The minimum nights to stay are 4 nights.
The property features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms - including one with grab rails, a game room, central air conditioning, and a private Lanai with a pool and spa.

About the owner: My husband and I are from Puerto Rico. We moved to Virginia more than 20 years ago. We both are accountants and we have 3 daughters. We are fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
Why this property? Back in 2017, we reserved this house for our family vacation. Since we opened the door and entered the house, we felt the house was our home. We kept this feeling for many years, and when the time was right, we bought this house in 2021. We did some upgrades to make your stay more comfortable.
The summer of 2017 our family had the best vacation ever in this house. We enjoyed the warm weather, the proximity to many amusement parks, restaurants, and last, certainly not least, the pool of this house. Do not be surprised if your child wants to spend more time on the pool than going out.
We hope that you have the best vacation ever in our house!

No, they are not permitted
Does the Resort have quite hours?
Yes, it does, and it is from 10:00pm - 7:00am
Do you allow Pets in the house?
No, we do not. If you plan to bring a service animal of any type, you must request approval from the property owner before you pay your deposit.
Can I charge my electric vehicle in the house?
It is prohibited to charge electric car/vehicles (of any kind) using electricity from the house,
Can I smoke, Vape, use illegal drugs or can I have illegal activities in the house?
La Casita on the Island is a non-smoking and drug free facility. The use or possession of illegal drugs or the performance of illegal activities is prohibited inside the house, pool/spa area, sidewalk and driveway or in any perimeter of La Casita on the Island.
When is the Check-in and Check-out time?
Check in is after 4:00PM
Check out is before 10:00AM
Where can I park?
Two cars can park on the driveway and two on the street. NO more than 4 cars are permitted.
What if I cancel the reservation 8 weeks of arrival?
Any payment will be forfeited
What method of payment do you accept?
We prefer bank check, money order or Zelle. However, we also accept credit card through PayPal.
Do you permit Barbeque Grill?
No, we do not permit any type of grilling.
How often the Trash is collected?
The Resort collect trash every day. The trash must be in a trash bag inside the trash can.
Is the pool/spa heated?
For extra fee the pool is heated. However, the temperature cannot be guaranteed as the air temperature is a major factor in heating the pool water.

The house was everything we had hoped for. There was a slight problem with the pool and the hosts quickly returned our money for heating the pool. Love the house and would definitely book again.

We just stayed at this home for 9 nights in July and we loved it. It’s close to Disney parks, tons of places to eat nearby, beautiful resort with things to do. The house was clean, updated and roomy. For our family of four it was awesome. The pool was nice to get into in the evenings after walking all day long. We plan on renting again in the future and really appreciate the owners for sharing their wonderful home with us!

The pictures and description do not do justice to this wonderful surprise. I would say some pictures were outdate when we booked vs. what we got. Great surprise! The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay there. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. Communication with the owner was easy and very nice. We definitely will return to this place.
