This is my happy place, dream beach house in an amazing community. The house was renovated a few years back and has lots of creature comforts from cable TV to a gas bbq. With walking access to the local amenities, Publix on the doorstep and the beach is a stroll, with the river being even closer for amazing sunsets.

There’s two large double bedrooms upstairs with a shared balcony. A shared bathroom with a large double shower.

Downstairs is open plan with a kitchen diner and family room. A second bathroom with a smaller shower. There’s two large Smart TVs both with their own satellite tv box and full WiFi. The outside secure court yard area makes it child safe and there’s access to two communal pools and a dock onto the banana river to dolphin and manatee watch.

The house is an hour max from Orlando airport and the world famous attractions. Ron Jon’s is a short bike ride and tons of great restaurants including the Florida Fresh Grill are on your doorstep as wells as great beach bars like Cocoanuts on the beach.

There's dolphins literally at the end of the road. It's so convenient for the beach, great food and good fun. But still quietly situated and peaceful with only residents in the complex.

Why Kids Love It

The gated court yard means it's super safe for young kids and the two shared pools are separate. You have crazy golf, surf school and access to the greatest kids entertainment in the world within an hours drive to Orlando.

Area Information

Cocoa beach is a vibrant surfing community. About an hour from Orlando International. Lots of great foodie places and fun activities from crazy golf to surfing school. There’s a great golf course and down town area.

The beach is beautiful and you can stand on it and watch rockets being launched from Cape Canaveral.

The house is in a quieter sport to relax, if you walk to the end of the opposite road at 5pm most evenings the wild dolphins swim right up to your feet.

Attractions Within Walking Distance

Florida Fresh grill is one of the best restaurants in the state.
Ron Jon's is a 24hr surf shop.

About the owner: I live in London UK and work at Google. We love to bring our children to Cocoa beach and spend as much time here as possible. We love the atmosphere, climate and convenience.

Why this property? This property is perfect. We have all the creature comforts we need for a home away from home. Good Wifi, big TV's, cable TV, large beds and a big double shower.

The proximity to the beach and being able to walk to local restaurants and publix makes life really stress free.

But my favourite thing is to walk to the river in the evening around 5pm and watch the dolphins literally playing at your feet.

Perfect for us

This place is all about serenity. Perfect walking distance from a pub, a great restaurant, grocery store, liquor store, even a dollar store! The beach is also walkable and it is near the hustle of things yet tucked down a wide quiet street. The outside fenced in patio/garden area (with table and chairs) is fantastic for enjoying a meal or an evening drink. The area under the upper deck was thoughtfully roofed to keep you dry in a light rain so you can still enjoy being outside. The unit is part of a quad building set up with each garden facing a different corner so there is plenty of privacy. There are two slider doors with screens on each side so we enjoyed being able to turn the air off and open both up for a fresh breeze.The inside is just as thoughtfully laid out. A huge table that can easily fit eight doubled as my husband's computer/work desk during the day. Kitchen is well stocked and has a nice refrigerator (with a great icemaker!) and a cavernous cupboard for stashing cereal/drinks and all your supplies. On the other side a nice sized living room holds the TV and two couches along with a couple extra deck chairs. It was nice to have the slight separation from the kitchen so I could watch TV there even while hubby was working. A downstairs bathroom has an adequate shower and is also where the washer and dryer are.Upstairs has two enormous rooms with the bigger of the two having a pocket door to the shared bathroom and a queen size bed. The second room has the king size bed and uses another door in the hallway for the bathroom. We simply put in place that both rooms should use the regular door instead of the pocket door to avoid walking in on someone. Both have slider doors out to the upstairs corner deck. There is another set of patio furniture (all had cushions) out there and I enjoyed reading and getting the better breeze there more than a few times. We left most of the cushions inside and made sure to take the ones used back inside if rain was on it's way so we wouldn't have to wait for them to dry to use them again.The best part of our stay was the river. We brought along a paddle board we had and while there, picked up a used kayak. There is an area that is part of the place to store them on racks and also to access the water. This was a great fun for all ages and we saw dolphins every time we were out. Everyone there was also very friendly and talked to you when passing by.
