Sunset Walk, which is part of the Margaritaville Resort that recently opened, provides shopping, dining and entertainment and is just a couple miles from the home! You can enjoy a quite relaxing time at the house, or be in the center of all the excitement central Florida has to offer within minutes. The home is a short distance from Universal Studies and, if you'd like a day at the beach, Coco Beach is just an hour's drive!
The home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a heated swimming pool. There are two full size sofas in the living. The home sleeps eight. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedding and linens are provided. The home has a washer and dryer for your convenience. A monitored security system is in the home for your security and peace of mind.
Recent updates to the home….
We continuously make updates on a yearly basis. Just this spring we refurbished our lania with a fresh coat of paint and updated the bedding in two of the bedrooms.
Within the last five years, we've updated our security system, installed cameras outside of the home facing the road. New smoke detectors and emergency lighting were installed. We now have a 65" smart TV in the living room along with a new living room chair. New quilts for one of the twin bedrooms were purchased and landscaping was completed around the home. We've updated our pool furniture with new cushions. Bedding and linens are updated regularly.

About the owner: We are a married couple with two sons who are grown with families of their own. Our favorite thing to do is to spend time with our children and grandchildren. We are animal lovers and have never been without at least one pet. We currently have a little black shih-tzu, named Pookie. She keeps us company when we can't be with our children and grandchildren. We are life long residents of Michigan. My husband is an MSU Spartan and I'm a WMU Bronco!
Several years ago we wanted to take our children and their families to Disney World and decided to rent a house instead of hotel rooms. We loved it and realized it was the best way to vacation with small children. We also believe that it's less expensive, because otherwise we would have needed three hotel rooms. We could cook some of our meals at home, do laundry, and give the children the ability to play as if they were in their own home. The location is perfect: Lots of activities and restaurants nearby. Close to all the major theme parks and within driving distance for day trips to Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and many areas on the gulf.
Why this property? In addition to the home with all the new upgrades and the beautiful pool, the location is perfect for vacationers. Shopping centers are plentiful. You can enjoy a quite relaxing time at the house, or be in the center of all the excitement central Florida has to offer within minutes.

The description of the home is everything it says it is. There are no exaggerations or stretching of the truth. If I were to go to Disney again, I would first look to see if Kay was renting her home. Location is amazing... you are in the heart of where you need to be for a Disney vacation. This house is the next best thing to staying at the resorts.The layout of the house is perfect for those traveling with several kids as there are two bedrooms on one end, with a bathroom between (great for the 'kids' side of the house) and then another two bedrooms on the other end with a bathroom (powder room) and a master bath... the adult side of the house. In between the two pair of bedrooms is the living area. The living area has plenty of seating for a group to watch the latest or missed Disney movie. There is also a large dining table in the living area. Providing plenty of space for 8 to eat together comfortably. Kitchen is perfect to make meals, but be warned there are not family style pans to cook with. However, with a little planning around what is there, enough to make do.Overall, we had a fantastic time between the location and the amenities, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Orlando.

This lovely vacation home proved to be the perfect place for making and sharing vacation memories! The pool was wonderful on those days when we stayed home and a welcome respite after our return from the parks. The home itself is open and spacious and provides everything anyone would need. The kitchen is generously stocked with cookware, dining ware, multiple coffee making options, etc. The guests' comfort has been a priority. The location could not be more perfect! Easy drive to all the Disney Parks and Universal Studios as well as water parks, miniature golf, grocery stores, etc. The owners were very gracious and committed to making our stay exceptional. Kay was very responsive to all communications and we truly felt our enjoyment was a top priority! I highly recommend this home and we hope to return for future vacation stays!

Our family stayed at Kay's retreat from December 23-January 4th 2019. Upon walking into the house the first thing you will notice is that it is spotless. The furniture and carpets are in excellent condition. The house is well stocked from towels for both showering and the pool, to kitchen appliances and dishes, this house has everything. The pool is a beautiful temperature and there were pool toys there for the children to enjoy. Kay has thought of everything. For our beach day there were coolers, chairs and beach toys, it really makes vacationing at this house flawless. We went for a walk several mornings, the neighbourhood was always quite. We always felt safe and "at home". This home is located a short 3 minute drive from Walmart and there are amble restaurants 5 mins away. We travelled using UBER on New Years Eve and it was less then $10 to a nice restaurant. The Disney parks and the town of Celebration is less then 20 mins away(depending on traffic). New years Eve the children swam after returning from the restaurant and there was a beautiful fireworks display that could be seen from near by resorts and parks. It was a truly wonderful way to ring in the new year. The communication with Kay was easy and flawless. She provided us with all the information we required for the home in a timely manner. As well, in the home Kay has provided information on all near by attractions and restaurants. We often used these menus to order take out and took an airboat tour after browsing one of the information brochures. I would not hesitate to stay at this house again.

Angela B.Perfect House for 2 families wishing to travel together
Home was very neat and clean. Had no issues at all. The floor plan worked really well for 2 families to stay together and still maintain privacy. This home has 2 bedrooms and a bath in the front and 2 bedrooms and a bath and a half in the back of the home. The kids loved the swimming pool and they have all the baby items you need when traveling with small children. Would definitely recommend!
