Welcome to your own private, dog-friendly oasis in the heart of Key West, just one and a half blocks off Duval St. and within walking distance of a public swimming pool, park, the beach, the Southernmost Point, shops, restaurants, bars, and more. With so much to do just outside your doorstep, you’ll love recharging in your enclosed, garden-like back yard. Sip morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail on the covered lanai while the ceiling fan whirs overhead, keeping everyone cool.
Inside, you’ll find a breezy, cottage feeling, with high ceilings, pretty pastel textiles and walls, and an open-plan family room and kitchen. The chef can make mealtime magic in the full well, equipped kitchen, and you can all dine alfresco on the lanai. When it’s time to explore, head out to the beach, or walk a few blocks to Duval for an afternoon of bar hopping - it’s 5 o’clock somewhere! Stream the latest release in the living room at the front of the house. Step out to a local restaurant for dinner, or just back outside - fire up the gas grill, settle in on the lanai, and watch the stars come out over your perfect Key West escape.
The home sleeps 4 adults comfortably in two queen-size beds. Each bedroom has a bathroom close by. A futon in the front den/living room is available for additional guests. (Max of 6 guests allowed.)

We fell in love with this house and the peaceful backyard the first time we saw it! Even though you are only steps away from some of Key West's best attractions, you have your own quiet oasis on the back porch--a great place to sip your morning coffee or a glass of wine. The Southernmost Point, Hemingway House and Key West Butterfly Conservatory are all within easy walking distance. Great restaurants like Moondog Cafe, Blue Heaven, and Louie's Backyard are close by.
Parking is a premium find in Key West--this house has an off-street parking spot for ease of parking.

About the owner: We live in Northern WI and have traveled to the Florida Keys many times! Key West is our favorite place to be! We love the cool tropical vibe of the restaurants and shops, the lush vegetation, and the beautiful historic houses.
Why this property? We fell in love with this home because of it's location (Old Town; Bahama Village), the cool Key West colors used to paint it, and the serene and secluded backyard.

Is there a fence around the yard?
The backyard is fenced, but we can't guarantee that our fence will contain your dog. Small dogs can be escape artists! Please take care to supervise your dog in the yard, especially for the first several days after you arrive.
