Welcome to Dolphin’s Tale, our 3-unit tropical paradise, where exceptional accommodations with mesmerizing Gulf views await you. We are located mid-island and steps; literally steps, to the Trolley, the twice a week Farmer’s Market (until the end of May) and our powdered sugar Fort Myers Beach kissing the Gulf of Mexico that twinkles like diamonds of blue, green and gold when magically touched by sunshine.
At Dolphin’s Tale, we pride ourselves on providing you with the essentials of a two (one king, one queen) bedroom/one bath (with tub), stress-free, pooch friendly, ample parking vacation home; from dinner/cookware to linens, beach necessities to grilling areas, and shaded/unshaded outdoor gathering (smoking) spots to your patio/lanai/deck.
If you’ve absorbed all of the vitamin D possible for one day and are ready for other adventures, here are just a splash of what’s available: Kayaking, Touring the Mound House (one street over), Renting bikes or scooters, Visiting Lover’s Key, Strolling around Times Square, Jet Skiing, Enjoy a Movie (with food and drinks), Renting a Boat, Visiting Key West, Playing Miniature Golf, Shopping, Fishing, Parasailing and the list goes on.
As you check for availability and rates, please know that an 11.5% tax and $200 cleaning fee will be added. We also have other units available as well, so please feel free to inquire. All mature clientele welcome. A lease and photo id will be required upon check-in.

Is this a single family home?
No, it's a three unit building. Owners reside in one unit.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
You're welcome to smoke outdoors.
Is there a washer and dryer in each unit?
No. But we have a laundry room with supplies in the lower level/car port area.
Does each unit have a dishwasher?
Yes, they do.
Are you located on the beach or across the street?
We are directly across the street.
Do you have everything for the beach?
We provide wagons to carry our coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs and towels.
Do I need to bring linens?
We do our best to provide everything except clothing and any food or beverage you would require.
What payment types do you accept?
Cash, check or PayPal.
What time is check-in/checkout?
Check-in 3 p.m. or later and checkout is by 10 a.m..
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have ample parking available.
After reserving, can we invite others to stay with us?
Yes, as long as they are willing to pay $50/person/night.

We recently visited FMB and stayed in the 2 bedroom unit at Dolphin's Tale. We had an excellent stay!! Christine and DeWitt were fantastic hosts - they thought of everything for us. It was so nice to stay at a place that had beach towels, carts, chairs, etc. as we were traveling by air. They also supplied us with all the little things needed for our stay to get us started such as paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap & free laundry facilities. We loved the little welcome basket with all the great treats in it as well. The hosts were on site and very friendly -always there if we needed anything! We'd highly recommend giving Dolphin's Tale a shot!

It was a spur of the moment and we picked Dolphin's Tale from pure luck. Christine & DeWitt were exceptional hosts and their focus on cleanliness and detail is unsurpassed. The property is close to everything and overlooks the bay yet is away from the rowdiness (been there/done that). We would definitely return and give it a 5 rating to everyone! Much sucess to Christine and DeWitt!

Christine & DeWitt's admiration for making your stay stress free is way beyond expectation. From the warm & beautiful décor to everything for the beach. Chairs, coolers, beach towels, umbrella's and a cart to haul everything to the beach which is only a short distance away. While swimming with our Grandchildren, two Manatee's and two Dolphins were playing within feet of us. Something the grandchildren will never forget. Location Location Location: Groceries, Restaurants, Shopping and Fort Myers Beach Times Square is all within walking distance. If you don't want to walk the 1.7 miles to Times Square you can catch a Trolley for .75 cents. We will visit again. Jerry & Marene

We rented this place for my 40th birthday. It was clean, perfect size and had everything we needed for the beach. The owners are amazing! They even had a little frame with a sign that said "Happy 40th Birthday Nicki". I loved it. We will def stay there again and recommend it to all our friends and family.

Dolphins Tale is a dream come true, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation it has everything you need. My husband and I came for a romantic weeklong getaway and cannot wait to bring our kids. The beach and Times Square have a safe friendly vibe and the accommodations have every amenity you could need. The kitchen was fully equipped there was nothing we needed to buy. The screened in patio provided alot of privacy while also providing a great view of the ocean. There was a huge selection of beach accessories from chairs to coolers. I cannot say enough nice thing about DeWitt and Christine and the wonderful experience that they provided for us.

This place is amazing, everything is new and clean, great Location just a few mins walk from the Beach, Cristine and Dewitt are wonderful hosts, Dewitt was around for anything we needed and made our stay better.it has all the accommodations, laundry place downstairs, towels, beach cart, chairs and umbrellas, everything you need to have a great time at the beach.we are definitely coming back soon.Gus and Amy

This property is only a short walk to the beach, extremely clean and close to Publix and good restaurants that offer gluten free options. The view from the leaving room is great!The hosts provided beach towels, chairs, beach table and cart. Also, there are washer, dryer and laundry detergent available.We are extremely happy to have had the opportunity to have our dog stayed with us!Dewitt and Christine made our stay extra special.We have nothing negative to say and highly recommend this house.
