Spread out in this spacious remodeled bayfront corner unit -- enjoy all the space of a house with all the amenities of a condo resort! At 2400 sqft, the Lazy Heron Hideaway has the largest floorplan of all the units in Destin West. This unit was completely remodeled for the 2021 season. The large private balcony offers direct views of the Choctawhatchee Bay, as well as peekaboo views of the Gulf (and Boardwalk fireworks!). Destin West offers the largest lazy river / pool complex of any development on Okaloosa Island, with 10 pools/hot tubs. Beach service setup (two chairs and umbrella) is included with this rental.

Floorplan:
The master bedroom has a king bed, access to the main balcony, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual vanities. The second master has a king bed, private second balcony, and attached full bath. The third bedroom has a king bed, as well as twin bunk beds with a trundle. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in a second living area off the kitchen. A hall bath is conveniently located across from the kitchen and just outside the door of the third bedroom.

We loved this location and would strongly recommend it to other families. It was very family oriented. My mother and mother in law really enjoyed the pools, my children loved the lazy river, and my husband and I enjoyed the beach. The condo was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. We had lots of room, and were not right on top of each other. Dining out was very close distance along with the shops. We definitely plan on returning.

This rental unit was fabulous…very spacious. The host finished so many things …snacks, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, salt, pepper, etc. kitchen had everything. The children loved the foosball table and the board games. The wagon and extra beach chairs came in very handy as we enjoyed the beach set-up furnished on the beach. Unit was located within walking distance to restaurants, putt-putt golf, pontoon boat rentals, etc. the lazy river was a great place to relax. We had a great view from the balconies…we especially enjoyed the firework display. Comfortable beds! Extremely clean!

Elaine C.Lovely, spacious completely remodeled condo
Bruce and I loved the great location at Destiny West Resort. We planned the vacation with our grown children and our precious grandchildren we hadn't seen since Covid changed all our lives! The bayfront view was amazing, watching the boats go by and even fireworks one night. Everyone loved the pools and the lazy river. The beach walkover made easy access to the beach and boardwalk. Doug & Karen were wonderful to work with. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The furnishings were top notch ,big screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable king beds....You won't be disappointed if you rent this condo!

We had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous condo. It is super spacious, extremely clean, convenient to all activities and has beautiful views. The Oasis-Lazy River was a big hit. The pictures do not do it justice! You will not be disappointed! Doug and Karen are the best host. They are very welcoming with a special personal touch. We already are excited to return next year!
