Our contact for the property, Ray, was very helpful and a quick communicator all during our stay. Upon arrival, our house was not done being cleaned, so we delayed with eating a bite and a grocery store run. (There is an easy to access Publix nearby). The house was nice and cool, very clean, and quite new. Right on the beach with gorgeous views to the sunset. Plenty of space for us to all spread out, and Small maintenance issues - grill not working, ice maker not working, that Ray graciously came and fixed for us so we could enjoy our 4th of July with food and drink! Alvin's Island store is in very easy walking distance if you need a few souvenirs or forgot any beach supplies. A few small things that were 'downers' - the pool was murky the entire time we were there. Our teen boys still used it a bit, but adults were way too leary of it. Would be nice to have little bars of soap for all the bathrooms - the 1/2 bath on the main floor by the kitchen was one everyone used but it didn't have any... kind of awkward not to be able to wash your hands after going to the restroom until we could get back to the store and buy some. At that daily rate, I'd expect to have supplies on hand to upkeep the house nicely and appropriately. :) easier to keep a place clean and tidy if you have the supplies to help with that. The furnishings were all wonderful and comfortable but I would have enjoyed a blanket or throw on the cozy sofa. Nice washer and dryer and all the other appliances were great, too. We loved the kitchen and patios and will definitely keep this property on the list for future trips to Panama City!
