This Classic beach cottage has been completely renovated and is truly home away from home. You can sit outside and enjoy the million dollar view of the gulf. The cottage is located away from the crowds in a quiet residential neighborhood with a relaxed atmosphere. The "World's Most Beautiful Beach" is a 70 yard walk away. It is located on the west end of Panama City Beach at Laguna Beach which is a private strip of beach. There is a landmark donut shop, "Thomas Donuts" just around the corner from the cottage. You can walk two blocks to the local grocery store, "Carousel" for all your needs. There is family recreation, golf, a great selection of restaurants, and a fabulous shopping mall, "Pier Park" within 5 miles.
Beds: 1 King , 1 Queen , 1 Queen Sofa Bed. Completely furnished with everything to make it home away from home. Located on a private strip of beach that has no construction and is for recreation purposes for the owners and their guest.
Minimal Age:
The minimum age is 25 for the booking responsible party
Pets:
Your dog is welcome upon approval by the owner and a daily pet fee of $15. Pet monthly fee is $100.
COVID-19 BOOKING PROCEDURES
1. A THROUGH CLEANING WILL BE DONE INCLUDING DETAILED DISINFECTION MEASURES PRIOR TO CHECK IN.
2. THE NATIONAL COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE APPLIED DURING THE BOOKING STAY.
3. HAND ANTI BACTERIAL AND DISINFECTANT SOAPS WILL BE SUPPLIED.

Attended University of Alabama and Auburn University earning a Master's degree in Math and Physics. Worked as an aerospace engineer for 15 years at NASA in Huntsville, Al. Have been involved with various private computer software businesses and currently have a computer and network business for homes and office. Am an avid saltwater fisherman and love college sports.

This cottage is in a great location…nice neighborhood to walk around in, convenient walk to the beach and to Thomas Donuts. Nice to hang out and relax. Owner is very organized from booking to providing everything we needed for a short get-a-way. Would choose to stay again!

Not knowing what to expect, my son and I were pleasantly surprised with how clean and quiet the cottage was. Decorated very nicely and kitchen was well stocked with everything that you would need. Both beds were very comfortable. The only complaint I had was the bathroom being VERY SMALL. The shower is difficult to take a shower in if you are a little on the bigger size because it is small and hard to turn around in. I am afraid that would be the only thing from keeping me from booking again. Mr. Wise is very nice and will respond to any questions or needs. Enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is bright and open, bigger than expected from the pictures. Very nice quiet neighborhood. Beach was not crowded and easy to walk to. Beds are very comfortable and the cottage is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We stayed 2 months and enjoyed it very much. Owner is great.

This is a cozy cottage. If you like fancy decor etc. this might not be for you. The living room and bedrooms are carpeted. The bed is very comfortable. Windows have the plastic blinds, no curtains. There is a dishwasher, micro and fridge. Fully furnished kitchen. There is a washer and dryer as well. The coffee pot was a full size with no filters available so we could not use that. Shower is very small but functionable. Located across the street and down a few houses from the west end of the Beach. It was off season so the area was very quiet. Off street parking. We were visiting family so did some shopping at nearby Pier Park. It was too cold to go to the beach. This cottage was clean and fine for our needs. Priced fairly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage very clean, great king bed, totally furnished with all you need for a beach stay. Just a few steps to the beach, which was beautiful, and great communication with owner. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage By The Sea. Very comfortable, very clean, and the owner was very accommodating. We needed to add an extra day at the last minute and he was more than helpful. Just a short walk to Thomas for the best ice cream malts. Also just a short walk to beach. We will stay there again if we ever find ourselves heading back to Panama City.

Wonderful stay at Cottage by the Sea. We only stayed a few days but the cottage had everything we needed. The house was very clean and just as it was pictured. The owner was super helpful and great to work with. The location was perfect, access to the private beach was amazing. We look forward to staying here again.

Cottage by the Sea is a cozy home within a short walk to the soft white sands and surf of Laguna Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Home was very clean and had everything you need for cooking and dining. The Washer and dryer were definitely a plus and the bathroom was well stocked with towels and wash cloths. House , although small , looks great and spacious when all the blinds are opened in the kitchen and dining room. Covered porch provided excellent place to relax especially during a rainy day.

Loved the place. Everything you need for your stay is there. The owner is very responsive to any questions. Short walk to the beach! Try the donut shop nearby as it is excellent. The grocery store nearby has everything you might need. A great time at the beach! Will be my go to place in Panama from now on.

Brandon C.Excellent House for Memorial Day Weekend
Having lived in the area of the FL panhandle several years ago, we were very familiar with Laguna Beach and what is has to offer. This was a perfect spot located within 1/2 block from beach access. Being a holiday weekend (Memorial Day), it was crowded but not overwhelming. Everyone had their own space to enjoy the beach. It was very relaxing! We also enjoyed a local staple just one block away in Thomas' Donut Shop which has a full menu all day long (very delicious).The house itself was actually nicer than what the pictures showed, to which we were very pleased! You can tell it has been recently renovated. The owner was incredibly nice and accomodating. It was a very quick and easy transaction with no issues.Pros: -very close to the beach -clean house with everything needed (you do not need ot bring anything with you) -working and excellent AC along with icemaker -DirecTV and internet (though we did not do much TV watching) -excellent transaction and communication with the owner -very reasonable nightly rate -grocery store and restaurants within walking distanceCons: -the washing machine ripped up a few of our brand new beach towels we purchased -shower is very small (imagine a cruise ship shower)Great house and will likely rent again!
