Welcome to Margarita Villa, a 3 bedroom & 3 bath home located in the Villages of Linkside in the wonderful community of Sandestin. Marg Villa is a freshly updated 1700 square foot home sitting on the Links Golf Club with amazing views of Choctawhatchee Bay. We have taken great care in providing our guests with many amenities and luxuries that should be expected in a luxury beach home!

The open floor plan is definely an eye catcher! The two large living areas and two separate dining areas are perfect for multiple families to gather and entertain. The three bedrooms, bunk beds and futon provide ample sleeping arrangements for 8 people. Prefer the outside? Our patio features a pergola, new large sectional sofa, dining table and new gas grill. Enjoy the bay views, watch the ducks & squirrels playing or soak in the cool breeze from the bay. Our patio is glorious!!

The master bedroom & en suite are a vacationer's dream. Large bedroom with 55 inch TV and new king size Serta Sleeper mattress await our guests. The en suite featues a large walk in shower with rainfall shower head which provides a spa-like showering experience. Little extras include a lighted vanity mirror, a magnified/lighted makeup mirror and bluetooth speaker in the bath.

Other items which we hope will make your stay EXTRA special include dual Keurig coffee maker, Instapot, Ninja blender, fully stocked kitchen, hair dryers, iron & board, 42 inch TVs in bedrooms, new leather sofas & 75 inch 5g Smart TCL television in living area, 6 seat golf cart and a fun beach decor!

THE BEACH!! The beautiful Emeral Coast beach and sea are only a 5 minute golf cart ride from the house. Sandestin is a private beach with chair set ups, activities and snacks/drinks available. Our house however meets most of your beach needs as we provide 6 beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, toys and even beach towels!
How about location? No need to wait for an elevator, deal with noisy condo neighbors or search for parking spots. Our home sits on a quiet cul de sac within the secure, gated community of Sandestin (the security guards take their job serious). House has two parking spots right in front of house (additional spots are available within the neighborhood).

Don't worry about that crazy Destin traffic because you won't need to leave Sandestin! Restaurants, shopping, entertainment and, most importantly, the BEACH, are all within a couple minutes of Margarita Villa. Included in your stay is a 6 seat golf cart that will take you to the beach, Baytown Wharf and Grand Boulevard in a couple minutes. It's also fun to take the golf cart on a leisurely drive to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of Sandestin.

But if you aren't here to relax, Sandestin has it all! Multiple golf courses, a nationally reknown tennis facility, boating, kayaking and fishing are available on the property. Cast a line in one of the small lakes around the house or charter a boat at the marina and go out for some redfish or amberjack! The marina has many fishing and boating options.

Besides the beach, the other important activities of any vacation...eating and shopping! Sandestin has both! From the quaint shops of Baytown Wharf to the upscale stores at Grand Boulevard, shopping is a must in Sandestin. There is a Publix grocery store in Grand Boulevard. For the serious shopper, Silver Sands Outlet Mall with over 100 stores is only a 5 minute car drive down 98.

EATING! The options are plentiful both within the Sandestin property or a short car ride. Grand Boulevard offers such reknown restaurants as Emeril's, Tommy Bahamas, PF Changs, Flemings Steaks and Grimaldi's Pizza. Also within a golf cart ride within the resort are Segar's Fine Steaks, Pizza By The Sea, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Marlin Grill, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Slick Lips Seafood, Rum Runners Cafe & Bar, Roberto's Pizza and The Beach House which is beach side and our favorite.

Area Information

Sandestin!! That says it all! Everything within a golf cart ride! Baytowne Wharf, Grand Boulevard and THE BEACH! Two pools!! Golf! Restaurants & shopping! Grand Boulevard has many restaurants, upscale shopping and necessities like Publix grocery store, UPS Store, nail salon, etc.

Favorite Places To Eat

Where do I start!! Among our favorites on the Sandestin property we love The Beach House next to the Hilton and the beach entrance. Best Grouper sandwich on the coast and with a beach view. Maple Street Biscuit Company across Hwy 98 in the Market Shops has amazing biscuits! Next door to it is Pizza By the Sea, a great local pizza joint!

Among our favorites at Grand Boulevard is Tommy Bahamas, more upscale with great food & drinks. We also love Cantino Laredo Mexican. Some of the best happy hour items in the area! The Craft Bar is a good place to watch a game, drink from their long list of craft beers and get an amazing burger.

Some of the other places that are less touristy are Fat Boys Burgers on Hwy 98, Party Fowl in Destin Commons which is a Nashville TN restaurant serving hot chicken, Steamboat Bar & Grill in Santa Rosa which is a dive bar with good food & pool tables, Pazzo's Italian in Santa Rosa for when you've grown tired of seafood and Auston's on 98 right down the road with TVs, live music and good food/drinks.

For seafood there are many options but most will be crowded! Our favorites are Captain Daves, Rick's Crab Trap & Louisiana Lagniappe in Destin!

Inside Scoop

All area beaches are very crowded during peak periods. It is best to go to the beach early (8 am) and claim a spot by placing chairs, towels & umbrellas.

Also, going out to eat early like 4 or 5 pm will help beat the crowds & a long wait. Also picking less popular/touristy spots helps. Feel free to ask owner about those restaurants.

If you are looking for an adult night out, try Rum Runners in Baytown Wharf, a piano bar with good food & drinks. Get their before 10pm to avoid the crowd & cover charge. Also after 10 it is 21 & over!!
