Robin N.While the house is beautiful and in a great location, it is NOT an 8 bedroom home as described. It is a 7 bedroom home with one of those bedrooms being a Family Suite (has an attached bunk room with a door and no closet). While this is not a bad option for families with children or grandparents with grandchildren, that was not our situation. We needed eight separate bedrooms for 16 adults. With this house configuration, our adult guests had to walk through one bedroom to get to their bedroom or to a bathroom...passing by a potentially sleeping couple or someone getting dressed and ready for the day.The non-maintenance of simple items also became apparent. When one of the bathrooms became inoperable for three of our seven day stay, not a simple item, we gave up raising simple issues with the owner. It was clear he felt he was doing the best he could do and that we had become a bother. We are not the type of people who like to complain just to complain, but when household things like doorknobs, pool chairs, faucets are not working...it can be frustrating. The host responded but it was tiresome after awhile. When we did ask for a small refund to compensate us for our inconveniences, we were quickly quoted Paragraph 20 in the agreement we had signed.Location is perfect, house is lovely but check who sleeps where and if it fits your family grouping before you book.

The location could not have been better—just steps from the water and close to everything we needed. JennyWe loved our time in Destin. This property was close to the beach and in a great gated neighborhood. It is a beautiful home, and the view…… talk about breathtaking. We loved waking up every morning to the sound of waves crashing in on the sand. We took advantage of the heated pool and spa. It was a beautiful vacation. David, the host was great with communication and easy to work with. We would stay again!

Kresta V.We stayed at this beautiful home for an extended family vacation. The location and amenities were perfect for our group. We had a member with mobility challenges, so the elevator and paved access to the ramp to the beach ensured everyone could participate in beach time. The kitchen is well appointed with complete cooking and baking sets, toaster, blender, and more making meal prep easy. The bed linens and towels are high quality, with ceiling fans in all bedrooms (wall mounted fan in the bunk room). Everyone's favorite aspect are the amazing ocean views from the balconies and windows on every floor.
