About this rental
The Castaway is a four bedroom house that sleeps 12. It has two king bedrooms, one queen & four bunks. All of the bedrooms have TVs. The living area has a recliner, a queen sofa sleeper and another sofa with two recliners in it, so there is plenty of room for the adults to relax. There is also a separate game table in the living room and an abundance of games for rainy days. A large screened porch under the house has an outdoor kitchen, dining & living areas, a hot tub, hammocks and a TV. It's a great place to watch the kids play in the pool, grill out while watching a football game or just relax in a hammock & enjoy the breeze. The pool is 18 x 33 so there is a great deal of room for the whole family to play in the pool. For cooler days there is a fire pit, a corn hole game & the hot tub. The house is all one level so there is no need for baby gates for small children.
If you want a casual beach house that's close to the beach and has plenty of activities for children & adults alike, then the Castaway is the perfect house for you!

House was very clean. Comfy beds. Owner was very nice and easy to talk to. Easy 2 minute walk to beach. Only things I would have liked to add would be, heater for pool, a salt shaker and a new cleaning brush for the grill. The screened in kitchen area with gas grill was awesome. Would DEFINITELY LOVE to come back. Great area for me. No nightlife hoopla! Very relaxing, just what we needed. Had 2 adults and 3 teenagers. They spent alot of time in the hot tub. Thank you Jeannie

Thanks so much Richard! And thanks for the suggestions. We will definitely get a new cleaning brush & look for a salt sharer that can keep the moisture out.We’ve been looking into heating the pool & the main issue is that it’s so large it would be very hard to keep the heat in without a cover. We will probably have a heater at the Mediterranean house next winter since it’s a smaller pool & easier to manage a cover.We would love to have you guys back any time.Thanks again,Jeannie

Our family of 3 adults and 2 teens had a ball at Castaway! There were so many great features at this house, I'm not sure where to start! My favorite activity was having my coffee in the outdoor kitchen before anyone else got up. The kids (ages 14 and 17) stayed in the pool, the hot tub or on the golf cart all the time. (And, the solar powered beach balls that change color as float around in the pool are so much fun to watch!) We tried a new board game that we love (Hot Words) and truly enjoyed having so many TVs that we didn't have to fuss over what to watch.. And, aside from all of that, the beds are extremely comfortable, the big shower is delightful, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay! Thank you Jeannie!
