One thing you will love about this property is on those days that the beach is a bit cool from the offshore breeze (Very Typical Jan-Feb) the temperature will be just right for family kayaking and using the back yard pool and games. During the winter months weather is unpredictable and winds on the beach can pick up., making those days not quite beach days.
I use this home as my personal get away throughout the year. It is rented selectively only 4-6 times year. The benefit for you is you can expect EVERYTHING to be in great shape. High end kitchen with like new cookware, dishes and other stuff. Everything is replaced when slightly worn. If I won't use it neither will you. Many, Many rental homes are used as full time rentals 40+ weeks a year and furniture, cookware, sheets, towels, and other items are not maintained near the quality I keep my things. If you are a discerning renter you will not be disappointed.
So close to the beach and just minutes from everything in Fort Lauderdale. The best of both worlds?

Please understand, With an VRBO/AIRBNB home if the owner allows last minute or near date cancellations they lose 100% of the time. Higher end properties do not get rented last minute unless they are severely discounted. These homes are booked by families and long term planners whose intention is a family or friends vacation. These are seldom done last minute. They are not hotels that can "Overbook" expecting a predictable % of cancellations, and a very high likely hood of re-booking during peak periods. Therefore - unless the property is re-rented - There is NO refund inside 60 days from arrival.

Why Joe Bailey chose Garden Isles
There are plenty of nice properties but there are also scams and properties that are used as rentals only. These properties are overused, over-rented and not always in the best of shape when you arrive. Although no one is perfect this is my home and I rent it only 10-12 weeks and to only long term renters who I feel will adequately respect the quality.
Everything is clean and in the best shape possible. Linens are cleaned and more important replace regularly. (Every season) So although things do go wrong you can expect new or like new towels, linens, and a full supply of Paper towels, TP and other supplies. Believe it or not other properties leave a specific supply for guest for the week. I.E 2 rolls of TP and 2 rolls of Paper towels for the week. I believe it is ridiculous to save $5-10 from someone paying a premium price for a week stay. That is my attitude about rental and strive to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable to the best of my ability.
What makes this House unique
Extra wide Canal view. Most "Comparable " home are situated on 60-70 ft wide lots looking straight across a narrow canal that is 40 ft wide. On the point and at the end of a cul-de-sac this home has 140 ft of waterfront on a main canal that is extra wide and a great place to watch the local HS practice rowing each afternoon.
Certainly there are waterfront homes that are directly on the intra-coastal (over rated) and homes with better view but comparing this to others in its size and price range this is in the top 10%.
Commonly overlooked by renters is during the winter month the breeze tends to pick up a bit and Beachfront and Direct intra-coastal home may actually be to windy and cold to lounge outside. Here its a great location close to the beach but also offers a little buffer if you get a windy week while your on vacation.

This house worked out perfectly for our family of four adults and one child. The patio area has a wonderful view of the canals and the boats coming and going. The pool is heated and very clean. Joe, the owner is extremely responsive to any requests or questions that you might have. It is a great property close to the beach.
This property was well-maintained, comfortable, and just perfect for our family of five. A home away from home. We greatly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, grill and spacious outdoor living/dining areas. It was so relaxing to be by the water. The beach, groceries, restaurants, and anything else we wanted were all only a short drive away. We appreciated the owner's efforts to ensure that everything was as it should be. We would definitely stay here again.

Some minor house maintenance needed but not a problem. Lightweight blankets needed for beds besides just sheets.
Joe was so easy to work with! The house was perfect for my family, it was very clean, spacious and tons of fun! The pool was amazing, my kids had an awesome time paddle boarding and kayaking on the canal. We enjoyed kicking back and enjoying the outside! All the beds were comfortable & it was close to so many things! We look forward to coming back!
Property is beautiful. House has a great lay out and was comfortably furnished. Everything was tip top. Close to town and the beaches and only a few minutes to the ICW and the ocean by boat. I would highly recommend this listing.
Great Place for Vaca!!
Folks we really enjoyed not only the house the pool and hot tub, but the outside seating bar area for bfast. Great internet and tv outside and in. Waterfront beautiful place. Fully stocked kitchen. Kayaks and outdoor gear. Stereo system outside and inside. We really relaxed and enjoyed this place. Close to shopping but quiet and relaxing! Enjoy!
