About this rental
Prominence is one of the hottest communities on 30-A located near Watersound and Alys Beach. The Big Chill formerly known as The Hub is located across the street in easy walking distance. It features food trucks, restaurants, shops and entertainment. The stage hosts musical acts, movies and in the fall watch your favorite sports team on the big screen. My townhouse is 3 bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It has been professionally decorated in shades of white, gray and blue. Each bedroom has it's own TV and there is one centrally located in the living room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. It is fully stocked with the dishes and cookware you will need to prepare family meals. I have 4 bicycles available for your convenience and 4 beach chairs and an umbrella and 2 boogie boards. The community offers complimentary shuttle service to the beach Memorial Day through Labor Day. Deer Lake Park is just a short drive or bike ride away with public beach access. Golf carts can only be rented exclusively through 30A Gulf Carts. My property and two others are managed by Southern Girl Vacation Rentals.

About the owner: I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and went to college at Auburn University in Alabama. After college I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I currently live with my husband and three sons. We fell in love with Destin on our very first trip in 2001. The gorgeous white sandy beaches and emerald waters were the perfect place to relax and watch my boys play on the beach during our yearly vacation. We dreamed of one day owning our own vacation home and In 2008 we had the opportunity to make that dream a reality. I found I enjoyed renting the property out and ten years later, in 2018, I purchased Deja Blue, a townhouse at Prominence Resort across from the very popular Hub now called The Big Chill. In 2019 I purchased Seaclusion at Seagrove Highlands which I completely renovated. I strive to provide each guest with a beautiful, clean, well-stocked vacation home where they can relax and get away from it all and hopefully return and make their own vacation memories on 30-A. My company is Southern Girl Vacation Rentals.
Why this property? I choose to buy a townhouse at Prominence because I loved the cool vibe of the Hub. I love that my kids and I can just walk across the street for dinner, shopping and entertainment. The townhomes are beautifully appointed and have a beautiful pool.

I have a critical eye but Deja Blue was perfect for our post holiday golf trip. Many times when you book online, the home does not look like the home that it was portrayed to be......NOT this one. The photos perfectly reflect the cleanliness and updated style. The modern kitchen was organized and well equipped. Bed linens, decor and towels were high end quality. We give Deja Blue a 10 out of 10!Working with Dee Dee was outstanding...she’s a great communicator. In the future, I will be working directly with the owner rather than a rental company with all their add ons & hidden costs.Thanks for sharing your lovely home DeeDe!

We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful townhouse. Our family made some wonderful memories. It was a perfect place for our 4 adults and 4 grandkids, they really enjoyed the bunk beds and the trundle bed underneath. We totally lucked out finding this rental for our last minute trip to 30-A. The property was brand new and was immaculate! The decor was absolutely stunning; you can definitely tell much time and thought went into making this property the perfect home away from home. The best part of the entire process though was dealing directly with the owner, DeeDee. She was available for questions before and during our entire stay. We will definitely be back!
