There is nothing like a good festival in the fall/winter seasons and Florida has lots of them to choose from. We have you covered whether your interests are music, art, food, the outdoors, vehicles, so many options! A lot of these festivals happen in Florida locations outside of Disney (although they also have some fun ones year-round).

We compiled a list of some of the most popular ones. All of these happen annually, so if you are unable to make one this year, it already happened or it was canceled – no worries! There is always next year. So mark your calendars! Enjoy!

Brazilian Film Festival (Miami Beach / September)

This film festival has been happening for over 2 decades. It is full of events, concerts, films and lots more. It is an experience you will not want to miss.

Island Hopper Songwriting Fest (Fort Myers / September)

This 10 day music festival has amazing performances featuring some of the most fantastic singers/songwriters from Nashville and all over the nation. The festival spans over the 10 days in 3 different locations.

Sarasota Chalk Festival (Venice / October 28 – 31)

The Chalk Festival is also known as ‘A SPIRITED Museum in Motion’. There is pumpkin carving, art vendors, food trucks, music and a whole lot more to check out at this unique festival.

Veg Fest (Orlando / October 22)

Veg Fest has been happening for 17 years and is well-known to be one of the biggest and best vegan festivals in the country. There are speakers, food preparation demonstrations, activities and vendors. There is so much to learn and enjoy at this festival.

Emerald Coast Cruizin (Panama City Beach / November 9-12)

Live music and cool classic cars – what could be better?! This fun festival has both and is a great time for all.

Shine Mural Festival (St. Petersburg / October 14-23)

This eclectic festival was built on the saying “art for art’s sake.” Since its start in 2015 there have been 93 world-class murals created. They have also coordinated 13 community projects and showcased the art of more than 90 local artists.

St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival (St. Augustine / February 24-26)

This authentic and delicious festival revolves around Spanish wine, cuisine and culture. They have more than 100 wines to taste and yummy bites to enjoy.

Downtown Festival & Art Show (Gainesville / November 19-20)

This two day art festival transforms downtown Gainesville into streets of art, music, food, and entertainment. This well-known festival has often been ranked as one of the top festivals in the nation.

Annual Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo (Bonifay / October)

This festival is a modern day rodeo! There’s a pancake breakfast, pageant, parade, 5k run and so much more! Gitty-up!
