Miami’s Best Italian Restaurants: 2023 Winners

Ristorante Fratelli Milano

This restaurant makes you feel like you are in Milan, while sitting in sunny Miami.  It has a comfortable laid back atmosphere, like you are in someone’s Italian kitchen.  The food is delicious, some have said like a work of art.  Fratelli’s is family run with recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Vero Italian

Their slogan is “Welcome to Italy!” And that couldn’t be more the truth. Vero offers indoor and outdoor dining options and is conveniently located right downtown. This restaurant attracts a diverse clientele from business professionals to families, locals and tourists.  They have amazing homemade pizzas and pastas. The drink menu is also fantastic! 

Ferraro’s Kitchen Restaurant and Wine Bar

Ferraro’s offers accessible fine dining with a relaxed yet sophisticated ambiance. It has a great location in an up and coming part of Miami that is centrally located with lots of shops nearby.  The food is next level with homemade Italian, even some small plates are offered to sample with wine. They also offer cooking classes! 

Via Verdi

Via Verdi combines old world Italian with a more modern flair.  The owners both have cooked in restaurants in Northern Italy and brought that experience to Miami.  You can tell their love of food just by tasting some of these incredible dishes.  They take Italian up a notch with presentation and creativity.  

Riviera Focacceria Italiana

What makes Riviera Focacceria Italiana special is they only use local fresh ingredients and genuine products directly from Italy.  They are well known for their special focaccia. This special dish uses cheese directly imported weekly from Italy.   

Il Gabbiano

Il Gabbiano serves up high end italian cuisine with a waterfront view. The combination is unbeatable! This beautiful restaurant focuses on presentation as well as incredible flavors.  Every dish is made fresh to order. This is a definite one not to miss! 


Palat is located within walking distance from great shopping.  So shop and then come enjoy a delicious meal at this modern eatery. They serve up handmade pastas and all sorts of incredible authentic Italian fare. They are family owned and have created many signature dishes.  

Salumeria 104

This restaurant focuses on classic Northern Italy inspired dishes with a twist. They keep it simple and use only the freshest ingredients.  The restaurant has a picturesque rustic feel to it. This restaurant is family run and some of the dishes are inspired by recipes the owners enjoyed in their childhood.   

Soya e Pomodoro

This restaurant mixes history and delicious Italian food. The building it is in is a historical landmark (Shoreland Arcade) and everything on the inside tells a story from the high ceilings to the beautiful artwork.  This is a unique place with tons of character and an even more unique and delicious menu.   

Toscana Divino

Toscana Divino focuses on cuisine from the Tuscany region.  They pride themselves on having fresh local and imported ingredients to create a true Italian experience in Miami.  They have a young hip ambiance to go with the old school delicious recipes they serve also with a modern twist. 


This cool restaurant has a menu that is Mediterranean inspired Southern Italian. The menu and the vibe is contemporary. The food is incredible!

Sardinia Inoteca Ristorante

Sardinia has an unique location in Miami Beach and has been open since 2006 serving up delicious authentic Italian food.  This restaurant has won many awards for it’s incredible food.  It has an upscale, yet inviting ambiance. 

Baiocco Osteria del Mare

Baiocco Osteria has a focus on sustainable locally caught seafood, especially fish.  They are more than just an amazing restaurant, they also have a cause and feel strongly about it and the environment.  The food is a mix of traditional Italian and other ethnic influences mixed in.
