About the Property
Very comfortable light and bright 2 bedroom condo in a family friendly building on the no-drive beach south of Daytona. There is a king sized bed in the master, a master bathroom, and a second bedroom with both a queen size and a single size bed. There is also a blow up single if you are a party of 6. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living area is comfortable and attractive - - and you can see the ocean from both areas. There are t.v.s with cable in both bedrooms and in the living room and wifi is also included. There is management on duty 6 days a week.
If you bring bikes, there is a rack for them or you can rent bikes from Bob's in Daytona, who will bring them to you and pick them up.
There is a heated pool that is open until 11 p.m., an elevator and carts to make moving in and out easy, and the building is secure with locked doors and cameras.
I love it because of its location, the ease of getting in and out, having the beach in my back yard and beautiful walking areas all around.
Why Kids Love It
There are so many things to do in the area - - and within an hour's journey. Marineland (touch and play with dolphins), the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine (also has an aviary - and it is so great I go at least every other year (with or without kids) - really! Blue Springs Park is less than an hour away (think manatees) and about 50 minutes south in Mims there are airboat rides. Then there is Disney . . . . .
The neighborhood is WONDERFUL. It is not commercial and there are some beautiful walks to nearby parks. Don't miss Inlet Park (there is a charge) with its jetty and pier, the Marine Science Center where you can pet stingrays (children of all ages love it) , the Lighthouse Park, Hidden Treasures restaurant (outdoor casual eating; good food; entertainment on weekends) and The North Turn, which features history of the Daytona racing scene, also feaures live entertainment on weekends and is on the ocean.
You are very close to all that Daytona has to offer but also a bit off of the beaten path.
I am sure you will LOVE the location.
