Ponce Inlet: Welcome to a slice of Heaven. We are located just South of Daytona and away from all the "Hupla" and drive beaches. Ponce Inlet is a special place that offers not only a great beach but many different attractions starting with a front row seat to the beautiful sunrise. After your coffee you may want to step outside and head down to the beach for a long walk on Ponce's wide and flat beach. After your walk, you will be ready to enjoy other Ponce Inlet attractions; Historic Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, Biking, Kayaking , sailing and Fishing are just some of the opportunities. You can end you day by watching the sunset either out the condo front door or at one of the many Ponce Inlet restaurants.
Beach: Our beach is wide, flat and great for a walk far from any drive beach. You can frequently walk on sandbars and play in pools that develop as the sand shifts. It is a great kids beach because the water is relatively shallow and undertows are rare. We provide beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella and toys for your use.
Exterior: Southpoint has undergone extensive renovations in 2020/21. All exteriors, parking lot, pool area, and beach front have been renovated. It provides area for play, barbecuing, sea gazing and plenty of parking in its 2 level lot that will accommodate Bike week trailers. The salt water pool is well heated, lit at night and ready for play and exercise. The building has numerous security measures and has a policy not to rent to individuals under 25 or renters with pets.
Interior: Renovations have also taking place in the condo. New windows and many aesthetic and functional upgrades will be completed in April 2021. Our non-smoking condo has everything a maximum of 6 guests would need to have a great beach vacation. The kitchen is well equipped for you to cook or bake if you are that kind of a vacation family or to just warm up that take out or restaurant left over. All linens are provided and you will enjoy many updates. For our very young guests, you will find a pack and play bed and small highchair. Washer and dryer are located in the unit and there are two flat screen TV's for your viewing. A DVD player and library are also available. Free Wi-Fi is available in the unit and Southpoint has its own Wi-Fi you can access when you are on grounds at the pool or picnic area. The Master has a King bed and on-suite Bath W/shower. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen and Twin and has a private entrance into the main bath which has a bath/shower unit. Bath towels and hairdryers available. You can stay connected with friends and family in US or Canada with our land line accessible to guests.
A Few of the Day trip Options: Daytona is a short drive and has many sites such as The international Speedway which runs tours throughout the day-a must for any race enthusiast and a site to see even if you are not. The city also has a water park (The Daytona Lagoon) numerous museums, concert opportunities, shopping, restaurants and more.
Disney and all the similar parks are definitely a day trip option; we have done it several times. Depending on your route and time of day you are a little over an hour to get to Orlando.
Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island is a great family option. They have greatly improved the facility over the years and it is now world class. We have been pleasantly surprised how it appeals to all age groups.
Merritt Island is a destination in itself with its 140,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge. Activity options include, Kayaking, canoeing, Parasailing, Fly boarding, fishing , sailing, golfing and more.
St. Augustine: This charming city lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches. It's 17th century fortress, alligator farm, Lightner Museum and Lighthouse are just a few of its attractions.
Area Information
We are located on Ponce Inlet Beach, which is South of Daytona and just North of New Smyrna Beach. We are far from any drive beach! For a day excursion you are about 1 hour from Orlando, St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral. Close at hand are Daytona's attractions as well as Ponce Inlet's own boating, fishing, restaurants and historic lighthouse

About the owner: Hello and welcome to our condo in Ponce Inlet! We are so excited to have a new piece of heaven to visit and share with family and friends – and all of you! We’ve had a condo in Jax Beach for 8 years but wanted something in a more quaint and quiet part of Florida. We enjoy northern FL and love the Atlantic Ocean, so we were thrilled to come across this place.
We hope you enjoy your time in Ponce Inlet as much as we do!
Why this property? We have seen many beaches in Florida but none that rival Ponce Inlet. The beach is obviously wide, beautiful and uncrowded with great sand but that alone did not clinch it for us. What we especially liked is that the sand goes out so gradually that we didn't have to worry so much about our kids in the surf. We love the sand bars and pools that develop that allows our kids to play in the surf without fears that they will be swept away. We also love to walk on the beach and the fact that it is so flat and doesn't have many shells makes for a great walk
Also, our Historic Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, biking boating, fishing charters and kayaking all within a short 5-minute drive or bike ride. It really is something special with local shops and restaurants that are always friendly and tasty.
From the beautiful ocean front, private beach entrance and heated saltwater pool and local restaurants, we find that we rarely leave the Inlet. The beach is obviously wide, beautiful, and uncrowded (no driving on beach either.) We have all of the toys, towels, chairs available in the condo, including a washer and dryer in suite. When the tide is out, it creates wonderful sandbars where you can sit and read a book and little ones can play without being crashed by waves. And if you are a shell seeker, you will find many and a wonderful flat walk. You can walk to the famed Racing’s North Turn, which is where the race cars used to turn around when the Daytona 500 was held on the beach. How about that for some trivia!
But, if you do want to adventure you can also be at Disney in an hour, historical St. Augustine and world class golf courses are less than an hour. The famous Daytona Beach and the Daytona 500 raceway, waterpark, and boardwalk are a short drive.

The owner of our condo was so accommodating. He checked in on our stay a couple of times to make sure everything was good and made sure we didn't need anything. The location was so quiet which made the trip even more relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!!!

The owner, Mrs. Ruth Ann, was very welcoming, easy to work with, quick to respond to questions and gave detailed instructions to make check-in easy. The condo was just as described and provided every need my family of five had. The view of the ocean was phenomenal. Our family enjoyed the large pool. Parking garage was large enough to load and unload. This was a spur of the moment fall break trip for my family and was SO worth it. The beach was not crowded at all. The condo provided beach chairs, towels, etc to make our stay even easier. We are already planning a return trip for this summer.

This place is a little GEM! You can't beat the location! Ruthann, is very quick to respond to any questions you might have. She was very helpful. They think of everything from chairs, umbrella's, beach towels to a fan. Just in case your friend likes her place a little warm than you do. LOLThe beach is very clean, and would not hesitate to stay here by myself.

We love coming to Ponce Inlet each summer and have been coming to Ruthann’s condo for many years! The location is quiet and the view from the 4th floor balcony is peaceful and the perfect place to watch the sun or moon rise over the ocean. We often see dolphins and this year woke up to the turtle patrol staking out a turtle nest right below the balcony. There is a family atmosphere at the beach and pool, and both are just steps away from the building. The condo is always well stocked, clean and comfortable. Definitely, the place to relax and renew your soul!

Our second stay at this fantastic condo didn't disappoint. Location is unbeatable, condo amenities are plentiful and we always feel right at home! Honestly, we couldn't ask for a better place to unwind and watch the ocean waves roll in! Views of the sunrise from the balcony will take your breath away! My fiancé and my daughter and his daughter stayed a week here from the end of June until July 3rd. Condo was very clean. Beach was very easily accessible. Pool is really nice as it is a saltwater pool. It’s very quiet and uncrowded here. NOTHING like the hustle&bustle&crowds in Daytona Beach. There is a nice place to eat within walking distance and it’s mostly outside dining there. Very good food and have a live band playing most nights. The beaches here were NOT crowded at all so PLENTY of room to social distance. The pool there was never crowded either. Also Ruth Ann was GREAT to rent from. Would HIGHLY recommend!!! So if you have plans to stay here don’t be afraid to continue on with your plans. Go. Have fun. Enjoy the beach!!! Oh and there’s SEVERAL AWESOME seafood restaurants nearby. You will need a car to drive to them, but we tried several places and they were all GREAT!!!!

We recently stayed in RuthAnn’s condo. RuthAnn was very quick to respond to emails and texts. The condo was very clean and well kept. Everything we needed for a week at the beach was right there at our fingertips. The beach itself is beautiful, wide, and clean. It was not crowded and made a wonderful place to walk, play in the water, and relax to read. We had no trouble finding restaurants that had dine in tables. The food in each of the restaurants was very good. My waistline shows how much I enjoyed it all! I would highly recommend renting from RuthAnn! I just can’t think of anything that I would suggest she do differently. I know the times we live in now are uncertain, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with your decision to stay in Ponce Inlet with RuthAnn.

We were fortunate to be able to get away for a few days in April 2019 and found this wonderful roomy oceanfront condo on a beautiful wide beach in Ponce Inlet, Fl. The condo building exterior was clean and well designed. Access to the condo was easy and secure. Entering the condo, we felt right at home due to the spaciousness and tasteful furnishings. The condo kitchen was extremely well equipped, the bathrooms were roomy and clean. The owners graciously share their beach toys with guests and have thought of everything you could possibly need on a beach getaway. The location of the condo was perfect for us to explore the Ponce Inlet area. We even rented e-bikes to ride over the beaches and sidewalks in Ponce Inlet and Daytona Shores. Last, but not least, the owner, Ruthann Mason was a joy to talk to about the condo and the Ponce Inlet area. Her attention to detail was much appreciated and knowing that the owner actually cares about your stay and your comfort is a "huge" plus! We wish that all condo rentals were this perfect!

What a beautiful getaway! This was a perfect spot for a girls trip. We woke up to watch the amazing sunrise and drink coffee on the balcony where all we could see was white sand, blue green ocean, pelicans and dolphins, and very few people. Spent the day on the beach and by the pool and then afternoon and evening exploring local town and restaurants (which were delicious)! Hated to leave. Super responsive host. Will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It is very clean and has everything you would need for an enjoyable weeks stay. The beds and the recliners are very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sun come up, then on the beach watching the dolphins swim by. We even laid on the beach at night to view the stars. The condo is in a great location for activities or you can just relax and enjoy the view. There are many great restaurants near by to enjoy.

What a great place to stay! Ponce Inlet is away from the crowds of Daytona Beach yet close to restaurants and activities if desired. Check out the nearby Lighthouse. It really is beautiful especially at night when it is aglow. The beach is amazing! You are literally steps away from surf and sun. The condo provides beach chairs, an umbrella and a few other beach toys that all can enjoy. We really liked the in-unit washer and dryer as we needed to do a load of wash mid week. That was so handy! The unit is well furnished, clean and very comfortable. DVD provided so bring your favorite movies for evening fun. Would gladly return for another stay.
