Enjoy your “home away from home” with updated furnishings, a King bed in the private bedroom, an upgraded memory foam mattress on queen sleeper sofa in living room, a recliner for relaxation, table/chairs for 4 inside and a table/chairs for 4 on the screened lanai overlooking the beautiful Sarasota Bay. Other features include an HVAC system with UV filtration system, brand new fully-equipped kitchen with new granite counters, full size refrigerator w/ice maker, a Keurig "duo" with both drip (carafe pot) and k-cups , cookware, dishes and new lighting and furnishings. For relaxation, in addition to the fabulous heated pool and hot tub, there are games, books, two smart TVs with ROKU/cable, and complimentary WIFI. Complimentary laundry facilities, beach chairs/umbrellas, linens/beach towels, cooler/beach bag for the beach, and parking (for 1 vehicle) are all included. There are two BBQ grill/picnic areas, and an outdoor shower.

Beach Castle Resort is located on one of the narrowest points on Longboat Key (a barrier island with easy access from Sarasota/Bradenton airport) and spans from the Bay Side to the Gulf Side of the island. Relax at the dock on the Bay side of the community to watch the sunrise and look for Manatees/Dolphins, or enjoy the private beach on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, complete with chairs and umbrellas - the perfect place to relax in the warm water or view a picture-perfect sunset. Within walking distance are the Centre Shops having three restaurants, an ice cream parlor, hair salon plus more!

Guests of Beach Castle Resort #23 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key providing guests with access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball courts, community bicycles, 24/7 community fitness center, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool.

Kids love the pool, the beach, and the dock! And oh, the small little lizards - they love to try to catch them! There are also several small brown bunnies that you may see on the property!

Area Information

Longboat Key is a quieter gulf-side retreat located between Lido Key and Anna Maria Island along Florida's southwest coast near Sarasota. The waters are very calm with gorgeous turquoise colors with the Gulf of Mexico to the West and Sarasota Bay to the East. Longboat Key has many water view dining options focused on serving local, fresh seafood.

You won't want to miss St. Armand's Circle, just over the bridge and South of Longboat Key for shopping and dining! It is always a fun place to spend the day or evening with cafes, restaurants, specialty shops and entertainment in the courtyard. Historic Bridge Street Pier, just over the bridge North of Longboat Key, has many waterfront dining options and shopping and on the way, stop by Coquina Beach that has a Beach Market certain times of the year on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Mar Vista on Longboat Key is the best for a nice dinner with relaxing water views - "farm to table" experience - try their Seafood Chowder!

Starfish on Cortez (just across the bridge) is a small fishing village and they have the "best" fried shrimp - very casual - sit on the dock overlooking fishing boats and the bay! A great "locals" place!

Along the Gulf ocean waters are two great places: Coquina Beach Cafe - breakfast and lunch - sit outside while kids can play in the sand and water and Beach House Restaurant - for a nice lunch or dinner with both "inside" seating and outside seating.
