We welcome you to stay at our three bedroom, 2 bathroom home that is fully equipped for your vacation enjoyment. Weekly, monthly and seasonal rentals are available.
As you walk into the home, located on the second level, you will find a very spacious open floor plan. The living room, dining room and kitchen all overlook a deep water canal through large sliding glass doors. Cathedral wood ceilings, fans and lighting accent our newly furnished and decorated Keys Style home. From the main living area of the home, you step right out onto a large balcony also overlooking the canal. A perfect place to sit and enjoy morning coffee or sip on some drinks in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful sunset views.
On the lower exterior level of the home you will find a very large and spacious covered carport area, a gas grill, fish cleaning station, outdoor shower and outdoor bait freezer. You can sit back and relax on the hammock or rocking chairs, sun bathe on the lounge chaises or enjoy a nice dinner on the outdoor dining set.
For all who love the outdoors, Key Colony Beach has so much to offer. You can enjoy walking, jogging trails around the island, a 9 hold par golf course, tennis and pickleball courts and 2 playgrounds. You can also take a quick walk to Sunset Park to enjoy beautiful ocean views and the best sunset views in KCB.
Boating, fishing, snorkeling and diving year round make Casa Lago Mar the ultimate vacation home. The Cabana Club, a private beach club with a pool and sandy beach, is yours to enjoy while staying at our home.

Easy access to the Gulf and Ocean side right from the end of the canal is every boater's dream for fishing and diving. The home has plenty of space both inside and out for children to play and family to gather.
Why Kids Love It
Key Colony Beach is a very kid friendly neighborhood. There are bike lanes for them to bike in and cars must drive at no more than 25 mph to keep pedestrians safe. There are 2 playgrounds located in the neighborhood or they can fish directly from the dock behind our house. But every kid's favorite (including my girls) is the great pool and beach to swim in at the Cabana Club.

The city of Marathon, set on 13 islands in the Florida Keys, boasts some of the best boating activities anywhere, including deep-sea, reef or flats fishing. You can also find some great sandbars to anchor your boat and relax in crystal blue waters.
Add to that waterfront restaurants, jet-ski tours, kayaking, paddle boarding or just cruise around the turquoise waters.

About the owner: Hello, my name is Melissa, my husband Manny and we have two beautiful little girls Marley and Mackenzie . We just purchased this home in Fall of 2020. But this home has been near and dear to my heart for many years. My dad built the house in 1991-1992. I grew up coming to KCB on the weekends and spent most of my summers at the home as a child through adulthood. My parents still own and currently live in the other half of the duplex. When the opportunity came up to buy this half of the home, we did not hesitate to purchase it. I'm so excited to give my girls the same experience I had growing up. They love their beach house and so do we!
Why this property? Besides the fact that my dad built this home and since a child I've spent many weekends and summers here, Key Colony Beach is such a gem in the Florida Keys. Not many "neighborhoods" in the Florida Keys offer what KCB has to offer. There is such a great sense of community here, it is a very kid-friendly neighborhood, has great options for restaurants all within walking/biking distance, the Cabana Club our favorite place to hang out and our afternoon walks to Sunset Place are always memorable. There is no better place to be than KCB!!!

Attractive coastal vibe in this comfortable retreat.We stayed there for five weeks and enjoyed every minute,especially the large screened porch overlooking the canal.Also we especially enjoyed the updated kitchen with large dining area and well stocked coffee bar,as well as the comfy furnished area on the ground and under the house.Parking under home kept our vehicle cool and clean.All the amenities in one sweet place!
