The beautiful set of islands known as the Florida Keys is a vacation spot like no other and living there is pretty much like living in paradise. After a day of fishing, water activities and laying in the sun at the beach you’re going to want a delicious meal and a fun night out.  

We chose the restaurants and bars below in the Florida Keys based on reviews, menus, personal experiences and their overall ambiance. They all have something special to offer and are guaranteed a good time and delicious meal.

Florida Keys Best Bars & Restaurants For 2023

Bayside Grille & Sunset Bar (Key Largo)

Looking to see the best sunset around? Bayside boasts the best sunset views while dining on some delicious fresh local seafood and certified angus steaks. This restaurant overlooks the Florida Bay and serves up tasty eats and specialty cocktails for lunch and dinner. 

Boondocks Grille & Draft House (Ramrod Key)

Boondocks had humble beginnings as a little ice cream shop, however today it is one of the largest tiki bars in the Keys. They have miniature golf, food and lots of cocktails, beer and wine. All set in paradise with palm trees all around. 

Geiger Key Marina (Key West)

Geiger is a low key come as you are spot with picnic tables and homestyle BBQ. They also have a tiki bar. 

Half Shell Raw Bar (Key West)

This place is old school Key West at its finest. The seafood could not be fresher. You can often see it being unloaded as you are coming into the restaurant. They are well-known for their oysters, which they shuck right there in front of you.

Havana Jacks Oceanside Restaurant and Bar (Key Colony Beach)

Havana Jacks offers inventive Caribbean fare and oceanfront views. Relax on the patio and enjoy a fun cocktail. They also have a happy hour and cigar menu, along with live events and performances. So make sure to check their website for the updated schedule. There is something for everyone! 

Hog Heaven Sports Bar and Grill (Islamorada)

Hog Heaven has more than one persona – by day it is a laid back sports bar with delicious seafood and inhouse smoked BBQ and by night it is a club with a DJ and all night party. They also have a private beach you can explore! 

Hogfish Bar & Grill (Stock Island)

Hogfish is the way the Keys should be strong drinks, fresh off the boat seafood, gorgeous water views, outdoor dining and people watching galore. This is a local spot with local seafood, literally caught right outside its doors. They also offer live music on the weekends. 

Islamorada Fish Company (Islamorada)

Fish Company has ocean views, beautiful sunsets, fresh seafood and a huge saltwater fish tank in three of the locations. This restaurant is great for families.

Kiki’s Sandbar Bar & Grill (Little Torch Key)

Kiki’s has a little bit of everything – views of Newfound and Marsh harbors, beach seating, a pier to check out with bull sharks and other sea life, live music and great food and drinks. They will even prepare your catch for you if you bring in your own from the day.  P.S the beach is pet friendly! 

Lorelei Restaurant & Cabana Bar (Islamorada)

Waterfront dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lorelei has breathtaking views and live sunset entertainment. They also claim to have some of the best seafood in the Keys.

My New Joint (Cudjoe Key)

My New Joint is a cool cocktail lounge and tapas bar with live music. They have fresh shucked oysters from both coasts, fondues and lots of specialty cocktails, wines and beer options. They also have great desserts to end your night with something sweet. 

No Name Pub (Big Pine Key)

No Name Pub has a history and is an iconic staple in the Keys. This rustic spot is a casual throw on your flip flops and make yourself at home kind of place. The food is amazing and always fresh. They are known for having some of the best pizza, chili, sandwiches and smoked fish dip. 

Pilot House Restaurant & Marina (Key Largo)

Pilot House has been around since 1950 and is a landmark in Key Largo. It is near the diving and fishing hotspots in this area and has amazing waterfront views. They have great food and drinks and sometimes friendly Manatee visitors! Along with dinner, they also serve up an awesome happy hour and brunch.

Snappers Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar (Key Largo)

Snappers is a one stop shop for food, drinks, events and even a place to stay overnight. They are a complete resort with this amazing restaurant as a part of it. 

Snook’s Bayside Restaurant & Grand Tiki (Key Largo)

Every seat in this restaurant has an unobstructed waterview! They have live music and great seafood. Tiki torches line the outside bar for a full vacation in paradise experience. You can even dock your boat here and grab a bite. They are also pet friendly. 

Square Grouper Bar and Grill (Cudjoe Key)

This place has amazing seafood and an amazing cause – they are a “green” restaurant and have a focus on sustainability and being environmentally friendly. They also have amazing water views. 

Sunset Grille & Raw Bar (Marathon)

Sunset has a beach and pool you can enjoy with lots of yummy food and good strong cocktails. They have a DJ, live music, cornhole competitions and a poolside BBQ on Sundays. This place is fun, fun, fun!
