Mini Paradise on LBK

We stayed at this gem for 6 weeks while renovating our home and it was fabulous!!! The location is amazing, literally 3 blocks from Whitney Beach, fabulous dining options literally across the street (Mar Vista and Shore), a quick walk to Sips for the best Maple Cinnamon Latte and Ham and Cheese Croissant, Venturas has great pizza and of course brunch at Whitney's....all just blocks away! We enjoyed beautiful sunrise at the public doc across the street and cotton candy sunsets at Whitney Beach. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, walk around and check out the peacocks that roam freely through the streets! We rented a golf cart and were able to go over the bridge to Cortez and Anna Maria Island to explore all the great stores and restaurants there as well. The house itself is soooo charming!! Not cookie cutter, it has a vintage vibe full of character and charm which we loved! It was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a great stay from beach equipment, linens, towels, grill and fully loaded kitchen! The outdoor pool area is like your own personal oasis! It is beautifully landscaped with lush tropical plants and trees and truly feels like an island getaway! We loved sitting under the stars in the hot tub too! The owner was great to work with, she was in constant contact and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend to others and stay again in the future!

Beautiful accommodations

After my first great experience at the landlord’s other property, I booked this one. Again, the landlord was fabulous and met all our needs. The furnishings were beautiful and very clean. The beds are five star hotel quality. The backyard with a pool and hot tub is private and the landscaping makes you feel like you are in paradise. I definitely will return!
