A tropical paradise awaits you on Longboat Key. A classic 1960's mobile home forms the core of this charming 800 sqft bungelow. A complete remodel was done in 2019, with updates as recent as 2025 which include an in unit washer/dryer and tankless hot water heater. HVAC is thee (3) Mitsubishi mini splits with remote controls for your comfort.

#53 is a freestanding beach house that is 50 yards to a private beach on the Gulf of Mexico with lounge chairs available under our rebuilt Tiki Hut or set out by the shore. Our Park includes a marina on the Buttonwood Bay, a heated pool just steps away from this unit, Clubhouse for Community activities, and a kayak launching area.

You enter the unit into a nice living area with wall-mounted 65" flat screen tv. The kitchen and dining area is a good size with plenty of cabinet storage, granite counter tops, stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, elec. stove, microwave, stainless large bowl sink with garbage disposal, coffee pot and toaster. There is outdoor shared patio space with table, umbrella and chairs for 4. The assigned parking space is just steps away and will fit most vehicles.

This is a two bedroom and two bath, with one bath being an outside beach bath house just steps away. The bedroom level is up two steps from the main living area. Both bedrooms are fully furnished. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, large dresser, hanging closet and the convenient in-unit front-load washer-dryer. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, wardrobe with drawers and hanging space, and a drop down wall mounted desk. Nice bedding provided for both rooms. The full bath has a nice big shower and plenty of hot water from the tankless unit. The unit has new paint, coastal decor and plenty of light.

A one month deposit is due upon signing lease. An interview is also required by the Community Leasing Committee to be sure all renters understand the community rules and meet the 55+ age requirement. Note only one occupant needs to be 55+, and second occupant needs to be at least 45 yr old. Season rental, November through April, requires a 2 month minimum. Off Season rental, May through October is one month, and deposit at signing lease is monthly rate charged for Season and 50% of monthly rate for Off Season. Cancellation policy is as follows: deposits made will be fully refundable with in 90 days of occupancy, 50% refund within 60 days, and 25% with in two weeks of start date of rental.

Marina to watch the sunrise over Sarasota Bay in the morning and see the manatees and dolphins that inhabit our Buttonwood Cove. Only 50 yards to the east of this unit.

Why Kids Love It

under 21 yrs of age, they are allowed to visit for a maximum of two weeks. Heated pool for their enjoyment but under 12 yrs of age must be supervised. No life guard on duty at any time.

Area Information

This is the perfect mid-island location to enjoy all that LBK, St. Armands Circle and Anna Maria Island have to offer. There is a Sips coffee shop within walking distance, the nearby city park offers Pickle Ball and bike rental. The Publix's grocery store is only 1.5 miles away; no need to go off island for groceries. Plenty of dining options nearby: Dry Dock Waterfront Grill, Mar Vista , The Shore, Lo'Key Island Grill, Lazy Lobster, Old Salty Dog just to name a few. Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Blue Dolphin Cafe and Columbia Restaurant are on St. Armands Circle. The Beach House, Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Island Time Grill are a short drive near Cortez bridge on Anna Maria Island. Shopping abounds on the Circle, as well as at island boutiques.
