Area Information

Ocean Village is a gated community with multiple HOAs just on the outskirts of Fort Pierce on Hutchinson Island. There are so many amenities that you likely will rarely want to leave. However, when you do, the area offers several excellent golf courses, a multitude of marinas, water-front tiki bars that you can drive up by boat, and superb restaurants with plenty of fresh seafood. Fort Pierce has been voted as having one of the best main streets in Florida - it features a huge farmers market w/ crafts and music every Saturday, Friday fests, cools shops and restaurants. There's so much on the horizon for this little city including a $125m Marriott development. Water is Caribbean blue on pretty days and it truly is a boater/fisherman's paradise. Enjoy warm weather year round and if you want, you can venture out to neighboring cities like Stuart, Vero, or West Palm. One hour from either the West Palm or Melbourne airport.

About the owner: I grew up in Murfreesboro, TN and lived in Atlanta for the last 25 or so years. I live on Hutchinson Island now, about a 10 minute drive to Ocean Village. I have owned investment properties over the years (I'm also a realtor), and after moving to HI, I couldn't think of a better place to invest. It's important to me that a home be well maintained and that people enjoy their stay. We have and will continue to make improvements so that renters feel right at home.

I'm a huge Alabama football fan (I went there and so did my father and many other family members), I love dogs, especially white german shepherds, and my new found love is pickleball.

Why this property? I have been visiting the Hutchinson Island area for the past 10 years. It's such a hidden gem - unspoiled beaches, crystal blue water, warm year round, not overly dense, laid back, excellent seafood. A friend rented for a month in Ocean Village this past summer, and I fell in love with it. The moment this condo became available, my family and I decided to buy it. I liked it because it was off the beaten path and felt very private. I also appreciated the fact it has its own private garage.
It will be used as both a rental and a vacation home for friends/family. There is literally so much or so little to do...you decide.
