About this rental
Cape Crossing is a waterfront “Old-Florida Keys” style resort located on Merritt Island, Florida where vacationers and corporate travelers are able to enjoy a fun-filled Florida adventure with all the comforts of home. The community was developed by Tristar Development Partners a company that prides itself on investing in projects that are all-inclusive in their dedication to green-building, environmental protection and long-term solutions for communities. The Marina Resort Complex of Cape Crossing used to be a long neglected piece of land that held a lot of nostalgia for locals because it was the former home of the historic Tingley RV Park and Marina (a Merritt Island Landmark for more than 50 years). We completely rehabilitated the land to make it a place where both locals and travelers alike can bring their families to relax, explore, and experience Old-Florida.
The Tingley RV Park and Marina was known for having “the best hamburger in town” and their Friday Night Fish Fries and we want to carry on that tradition by serving delicious food in our restaurant and bar (coming soon). At the restaurant, families and friends will be able to share good times and create new memories that harken back to simpler days on the island.
At Cape Crossing, our team is more like a family and we want our guests to feel like they are a part of that family. Many times you will find our team members having conversations with guests as if they have known each other for years because we are that passionate about getting to know our guests to make their stay feel like it was customized just for them. Cape Crossing is not just for people from out of state, during Hurricane Irma we opened our Clubhouse and provided food for those who had evacuated their homes in Tampa. We know that even native Floridians can find a little escape from everyday life at our resort.
We want your vacation to be filled with making great memories that will last a lifetime, that’s why our team goes above and beyond to ensure each guest has everything they need to make their stay enjoyable. Guests who stay at Cape Crossing will leave knowing they will be back time and time again.

Cape Crossing Convenience
Cape Crossing is an affordable and great place to stay for the convenience of being just about 15mins south of KSC. The location is great adjacent to.the River. We stayed in a townhome which was steps away from the restaurant, boats and pool. It has plenty of space and was immaculate. I would have given it 5 stars but the carpet needed replacing. It was easy to book and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Cape Crossing!

One Night Stay before a Cruise
It was a nice condo. Unfortunately we arrived late so didn't get to enjoy the amenities because we had to leave for our cruise the next day. It was a cheaper alternative than several rooms for one night at a hotel since there were 8 of us. If booking, make sure you arrive before it gets dark because the lighting isn't that good when looking for the house numbers. It was also nice to have a garage but it's not large enough for larger vehicles. One of our vehicles was a Telluride and it was too long to fit but my Acadia did fit. We just had to park the Telluride outside in the driveway.

Slice of heaven
We only spent the night but what a beautiful place. Had fun by the pool, playing corn hole. Sat on our balcony and watched the boats go by. We saw manatees and dolphins…. There is a restaurant on premise that was pretty good and the room itself was well equipped!
