About the host: Canadian snowbird who owns two houses at the Hamptons 55 plus Gated Golf Community. I am semi retired and my permanent home is in Hartney Manitoba Canada. We go to Florida every spring for 2 months and every Fall for 2 months.While we are at our houses in Florida we do any necessary repairs and clean up the yards.
Why this property? This property is now available to be rented. Each house comes fully equipped and furnished. We also include a Club Car Golf Cart with each house. The Hamptons is a Premier Golf Community with an 18 hole executive course. There are pickle ball courts ,Tennis court, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes etc. There is an exercise room library and pool tables in the club house. Behind the club house is a big heated pool and hot tub. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the club house. Most residents use their golf carts to travel throughout the community. There are daily activities. You can even join the winter cruise week to make your vacation complete.

Owners will cancel you a few weeks before checking in and completely GHOST YOU! Leaving you scrambling for a place to stay and ‘out’ your deposit!! Put my family in a terrible situation compounded with anxiety we went through. (Probably had several ‘fish’ on the line! Seems like a cold calculated get rich scheme?)Save yourself a HUGE headache and RUN, (don't walk) the other way!!!! If I could give a negative star rating, I would. You’ve been warned…..

Avoid this property. The owner overbooks and retains all deposits. You will show up and find the property is already occupied. The contract is worthless as the owner simply ignores the terms and conditions. You will have to threaten legal action repeatedly to get his attention.

Cancelled rental for January to March 2025 in July 2023. Still can't get deposit of $3000 back. Always have an excuse. They did this to four other people we know of. They overbook the same house to multiple people and spend your deposit.Do not rent from them.We have rented in the Hampton golf resort for two years. Talked to other guest in community. They have nothing good to say about Jeff and Linda.
