Welcome to Reel Treasure St Augustine, your perfect family vacation home in St. Augustine! Reel Treasure, is a relaxing canal front home with large, heated, saltwater pool and spa. Not only are we on a canal with easy access to the intracoastal waterway, our home is just .3 miles from our private neighborhood walkover to Butler Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. You can walk, bike, drive and park in a nearby lot or drive and park directly on the beach and pick your spot (4wd recommended). Enjoy watching beautiful sunsets on either of the two decks or while relaxing in the hot tub, on one of the very few canals in the St Augustine area.

Boating enthusiasts will appreciate our drive-on dock, perfect for bringing your own boat or renting one to explore the Intracoastal Waterway. Cruise along the picturesque waterways, relishing in the sights, great fishing spots, and stop for a delectable lunch at Old Town or explore the neighboring towns. (Please consult with us regarding boat size and docking details to ensure the best experience.)
** While our home warmly welcomes families with older children, we want to ensure their safety. Please inquire to discuss whether Reel Treasure is suitable for your family before booking, as it is not childproofed, and the pool and canal are in close proximity therefore our home is not appropriate for children under 5 years of age**

*** To ensure everyone's safety, comfort, and compliance with insurance regulations, only guests that are listed on the reservation are allowed on the property at any time without prior approval. We require a $1500 refundable damage deposit, a signed rental agreement, and State Issued Drivers License of the primary renter (county requirement). Additionally, you will be required to provide us with the complete names of all adults on the reservation, ages of children under 18, ensuring a total of no more than 8 people, including children. All to be completed within 24 hours of booking Name on reservation, Rental agreement, Sate Issued Driver’s License, and payment must all be the same*** (this will be provided when signing rental agreement, please don't provide before booking)
Cancellation Policy:
Please review our cancellation policy as our calendar will be blocked once you make your reservation and as individual owners, we cannot afford to refund outside of our policy.
*** Hurricane season is June-November every year. We especially encourage purchasing travel insurance for your trip if your reservation falls within these dates as we can only refund if there is an official, mandatory evacuation (not a state of emergency) called for the island. ***

About the owner: We are a family of six, consisting of four energetic and adventurous sons. Our passion for hospitality, the beach, swimming, boating, fishing, and history led us to choose St. Augustine as the ideal location for our vacation rental. When we found this property, we knew it was the perfect place for our family and to share with guests for years to come.
We take great pleasure in sharing our home and want you to truly feel like a guest and try our best to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience. We have tried to supply things that we want when we visit with our friends and family.
Boating, fishing, sunsets, floating in the pool, relaxing on the beach, playing games, all hold a special place in our hearts, and we know they do for many families as well. I had NO idea what this homes location included but it was worth WAY more than any other home near by! So much room and SO much to offer! Views, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, or just relaxing on a dock. This house has EVERYTHING!Nothing makes this house more amazing than the people who own it! They have thought of everything and are the kindest humans I’ve ever rented from! Any concerns or issues we had, they took care of immediately.Side note… seeing a mommy and baby manatee was the icing on this incredible trip! We will ONLY stay here when we are visiting St. Augustine.

Reel Treasure delivered as promised with an excellent rental experience from booking to checkout. That was important to me as we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The outdoor space with pool, spa, seating areas (both sun and shade), pool toys, beach and fishing equipment and a quiet canal with sunset views is first class. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly by the owner, both before and during our stay. This property is fantastic, and we look forward to staying again.

Wow, what a wonderful property: home away from home with a vacation vibe - totally relaxing! Every amenity you could want or think of, from kitchen utensils and appliances, to every board game imaginable, to outdoor fun and activities (e.g., pool, hot tub, fire pit, kayaks bikes, gas grill, outdoor tv's, fish off the private dock, and much more)! The house itself was immaculately clean, the beds very comfortable. We wanted for nothing, it was all there. And the view down the canal: always spectacular - whether from the living room, bedroom decks, the hot tub, or simply relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in March (our second visit) enjoying time with family and friends, cooking in and eating out at many local restaurants and eateries.We also made the most of all the local attractions, some within a 5 minute drive of the house, and many just a 15 minute drive into Old Town, St Augustine. So much to do and see within a short distance. Ginnie, the host, was most welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. She was always available for questions, help, and advice on things to do (such as driving on the beach in our 4x4 Jeep) and see. We fell in love with Reel Treasure and Ginnie! We've already booked our next stay!

Had another wonderful stay at Reel Treasure. This stay included a fully renovated pool and spa! The great photos of the property online cannot do justice to actually being there. It is located at the top end of a canal, with access to the Intercoastal Waterway via the canoes provided, and fishing right off the attached dock and supplied fishing gear.Reel Treasure feels like a resort with all the amenities of home. It is immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Close enough to many attractions and eating places, yet far enough for quiet and privacy.Ginny the host is the best. Always friendly and available by text or cell to answer questions, concerns, or provide suggestions on things to do or places to eat.We always look forward to staying at Reel Treasure and Will definitely return again.

Ginny and Grant are the best hosts we've ever had. They were available to answer any/all of our questions, the website for the house is one of the best I've ever used. Very user friendly with lots of area information and the in and outs of getting to know the house (remotes, laundry, access, area dining and other activities, etc.) The house is equipped with all high end appliances and kitchenware, the beach is walking distance, the pool area is perfect for the entire family to hang out and downtown St. Augustine is nearby. This home has it ALL! I have never been to a house for vacation where literally nothing was needed except for bathing suits, and food. From the coffee maker options, to the technology, to the immaculate backyard set up, I would not trade or change a thing about the home. My husband and I have a goal of opening up a vacation rental, and when I stayed at Reel Treasure, I was walking around the house taking in every detail. The owner was not only super quick to respond, but she was so kind and sweet, and even answered our random questions like "where the heck did you get these dreamy pillows and towels?". It was such a great weekend away with our friends, and we WILL be booking again multiple times in the future.
