See moreWe lived overseas for over 20 years, our three kids grew up overseas and are multicultural. My wife Speaks Spanish fluently and some German. We bought our house to be our retirement home however since our kids live in Central Florida we moved north to be closer to our kids and grandchildren. Our house has many personal items from our travels and some art from my Grandmother "Marie Fisher" who lived with us while I was growing up in the Florida Keys.
In the back yard you will see many items we picked up over the years including two bosuns chairs, one off a beach in Panama and another off the beach in Marathon. Various Bamboo pieces, and fishing buoys, "flotsam" we have picked up off the Florida beaches and transformed into fence decorations, which you will see on our "plant wall". We also found a "bale" of rubber that floated to the surface from a ship sunk in 1943 off the coast of Brazil. This bale of natural rubber was destined for the German war effort but never made it, instead we found it washed up on the beach in Marathon Fl (we have this history documented in our "welcome book").
We have spent and continue to spend, a lot of time adding decor, "treasures" and amenities to our house and hope you enjoy our property as much as we have. We look forward to your visit.
Best regards John and Monika
